Having picked up some beer at the bar, the two men found themselves a seat in a quiet corner of a small bar.

Steve gave Matt a smile. “So, you’re the hero and I’m the sidekick? But we’ve known each other forever?”

Matt grinned at the aggrieved tone. “Yep. Say, how close do you think these two guys really would be?” He leered in Steve’s direction.

Steve gave a short sharp laugh. “Well, school, college, navy, Numa. Close quarters, partners, roommates even.”

Matt nodded. “Bound to see each other naked a time or two.”

“Enough to be comfortable around each other.” Steve nodded agreeing. He gave Matt a considering look. “I suppose as sidekick, I’m on the bottom?”

Matt choked on his beer, recovering quickly he gave his small companion a lusty look. “You bet ya, Wife.” He frowned. “You’re married, right?”

Steve nodded. “Yeah, but what plays on set, stays on set. Y’know.”

Matt tilted his head and gave Steve a long look, then he gave him a decidedly wolfish grin. “How about we head for the hotel for some private negotiations?”

Steve placed his empty beer bottle on the table and stood up. “Lead the way, husband ‘o mine.”
