Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. I do not know the members of My Chemical Romance. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
I'm having fun writing this. I've got a pretty twisted and dark plot for it, so don't expect this happy little thing to keep up.
Read and Review though. As a writer, I like knowing if people enjoy the story or not.
Brandi stared straight ahead, watching the road carefully. He was turned in the front seat so he could look at her, and he wasn’t being shy about staring. Brandi bit her lip, resisting the urge to punch him in the face. But just as suddenly as the feeling appeared, it vanished. Something had shocked her, causing her to take a sharp breath. She turned to look at him. He was trailing his fingertips up and down her arm, dazing.
“What are you doing?” She stared hard at him, and he sat up strait as she spoke. He gaped for a moment, trying to come up with words, but he just stuttered. Brandi smiled, knowing she had just made Gerard Way stutter. She watched out of the corner of her eye as he sat up strait and sat back in the seat, pouting. Brandi held back a giggle as she turned on her stereo. The Used “Hospital” came on full blast, but only stayed on for half a second. Gerard quickly turned it off, mock gagging.
“How the hell can you listen to that?” He stared at her, looking completely revolted. Brandi turned and smirked at him. “I can listen to it cause there’s a few songs on there he dedicates just to you.” Gerard glared, exhaling loudly, sounding like he was disappointed. He shook his head and sat back in his chair again, watching the road go by.
Brandi smiled. “Are you mad at me?” She used her most sincere voice, sounding pathetic. She watched him, his face turned out the window. Brandi sighed, turning back to the road. “Tell me something Brandi.” She turned to his voice, his tone sounding broken. Brandi made a mental note to not upset him like so ever again, but she still felt powerful. She relished in the feeling for a moment, and then sighed. “What do you want to know?” She turned and looked at him inquiringly.
He finally turned his head, looking her in the eyes. His stare was intense, and Brandi almost swerved into a curb. She jolted, fixing her steering and stared at the road. Gerard never took his eyes off her, his stare suddenly making her feel uncomfortable. She spotted a Starbucks and pulled into the parking lot, waiting for Gerard’s question. After she found a spot and parked, she turned back to his stare, no driving threats while she was parked. Her breath hitched in her throat again, more noticeable this time, and Gerard smiled. “Am I making you uncomfortable?” His flashed his crooked smile, revealing his tiny white teeth. Brandi sighed. “No. But you’re starting to piss me off again.”
The look on his face told her that he knew she was lying. She sighed, getting out of the car. She slammed the door, turning around and bumping into Gerard. She screamed, but his smile made it a faint cry of shock. “Do you really think I believe that?” She didn’t answer him, but pushed passed. Gerard stood there, watching her walk off. She turned when she noticed he wasn’t following her. “Are you going to come get coffee or not?” Gerard smirked, walking towards her. He thought about the tour, and what this girl was so naïve about. She had no idea what she had gotten herself into, agreeing to go on some tour with them. The thought made Gerard chuckle.
Brandi turned at his laughter. “What’s so funny?” But he just shook his head, waving a hand. “Ask me later.” Brandi rolled her eyes and they went inside Starbucks. They didn’t talk, but sat there. Brandi avoided eye contact, but Gerard observed her every move. She sighed.
“Lets go. Brian is expecting us back with my duffle bag of stuff.” Gerard nodded, getting up flawlessly and walking to the door. The car ride was silent to Brandi’s house. She told him to wait in the car, and she took ten minutes to pack the stuff she needed.
They arrived back at Reprise and got inside. Brian was standing there smiling. “Alright. Gerard, I’m going to need a few words with you real quick.” Gerard nodded, glancing at Brandi once before walking off with him. Brandi watched him walk off, and then shook her head, a daze lifting from her eyes. Everything that had happened was a blur. Mikel’s laugh caught her attention.
“What?” Mikel was laughing still, shaking his head. “You look god damn brain dead. Did you get brainwashed by Mr. Way?” Brandi smirked, flipping him off. “He’s the last person in the world that I would fall for.” Mikel nodded, laughing. “Sure kid. Have fun on tour with them.” Brandi sighed. Yeah, fun with the biggest prick in the music industry.
