The next morning after breakfast and getting over our hangovers, Johnny and Orli told Keira and I to grab our swim stuff and be ready to go in half an hour. I was walking with Keira to the elevator when I realized I forget my towel and sunscreen.
“Go on ahead I’ll catch up.” I say turning back to the room.
“Are you sure?” she asked
“Go I’ll be right there two minutes, ok.”
I walked back to the room and grab my towel and sunscreen, after locking the door I walk into Vanessa, who just scowls at me.
“I’m sorry I didn’t see you. Are you ok?” I ask
She hits me across the face and slams me into the wall holding my arms, “listen up little girl, just go back to playing dress up and leave Johnny to a real woman. Oh, and don’t tell anyone what happened or else.” She leaves, I slide the wall and hold back the tears, my arms are bruised and my face hurts. I run to elevator undoing my braids and mess my hair to hide the bruise on my cheek. I walk out of the elevator to see Johnny, Orlando, and Keira tapping their feet and giving me the look.
“What? I thought we were going somewhere. Let’s go.” I said heading to the car.
Keira grabbed my arm and asked “What happened to ‘I’ll be right there two minutes, ok’?”
“Oh” I pulled my arm away. “The sun screen was in a different place than I thought.”
We all got into the Johnny’s black mustang headed away from the hotel. All the while I was thinking how I was going deal with Vanessa and what story to tell when and if they saw the bruises. After driving for about an hour we got to the marina and I know we where going, Johnny’s yacht. We got out to open water and changed into swim suits and board shorts.
I didn’t want to come up on the deck I know that I didn’t look as great as Keira or Vanessa would in a bikini. Johnny had on Capt. Morgan trunks, Orli who was waxing a surfboard had gray and green Hawaiian trunks and Keira looked great in her red bikini, but here I was in a black pirate bikini and I will say I have a little bit of a pudgy tummy. I was searching though my bag for a light long sleeve shirt to cover up my arms; I didn’t want them to see the bruises. I heard Johnny calling for me “be right there” as I pulled the shirt over my head.
“What’s wrong Lizzie?” he asked me, seeing the shirt over my swimsuit.
“Don’t laugh, but I just don’t look as great as you guys do in your swim stuff” I said staring at the floor. He raised my chin and made me look into his eyes and said to me “You look great. I have seen too many girls who starve themselves to look the way magazines say they should look.” He kissed me and said “let’s go have fun.” We walked over to the others and I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t let the bruises ruin the day.
We watched Orlando show off his surfing skills while Keira interviewed me. “So let’s hear your E! True Hollywood Story.”
“Ok, I’m 21 live in Issaquah, WA with my mom and dad, who are a nurse and a firefighter, a have a three year Crocker spaniel, named Dash, a three year orange tabby, Salem and 19 year old sister, Josie who is in Australia and I go to Bellevue Community College, I have ADHD, no big thing. I love to sing and dance as you guys saw last night, I love to read and be swept in the world of the book, Harry Potter is my favorite right now. That’s about it.” I said while we sat and ate lunch.
“What about a boyfriend?”
“Not right now, I had one a few years ago, but it was nothing serious.”
“Friends or do you like to be alone?”
“No I’m a social butterfly, I have a lot of friends and they will never believe me when I tell them about this.”
I turned to look out at the water and Orlando surfing, when a great idea entered my mind I whispered to Keira while Johnny’s back was turned but I know he heard us giggling. “Ready” I asked.
“Ready” she said.
“Hey Orli-bear” we both shouted he turned and waved while we flashed him, he fell into the water and we just laughed when he swam up to ladder.
I looked at him and said “I thought elves were supposed to be graceful” laughing at his face.
Johnny handed him a towel and whispered something into Orli’s ear and before we knew it they were right behind us and asked “So ladies do you know how to swim?” as they picked us up and throw us into the water.
When Keira and I broke the surface we looked straight at the boys who were laughing and pointing at us said “Game on!”
The rest of the day was the biggest boy and girl war ever. When we got the ladder Orli helped Keira up and Johnny lowered his hand to help me.
I said “Capt. Sparrow you are a dead man.”
“Oh really love?” he said.
“Yes really.”
What Johnny didn’t know is that Lilly and Jack give me a lot great information while we walked the park last night, but the best the tip of the night was where he is ticklish. As soon as my hand touched his side, I started to tickle him. He started to laugh and bend over and before we knew it the both of us were in the water. “Very sneaky, love” he said as we got back on the boat.
I went to grab my towel, a hand grabbed my arm and pulled me into a hug, I looked up to Orli’s face and he was smiling “thanks”
“For what?” I asked.
“For making him smile, we have tried everything to make him happy, but nothing works, but you can just smile at him and he smiles back. You just earned a free surf lesson.”
Handing me a rash guard and grabbed a long board. We paddled out to a set of waves, they looked a little big
“Are you sure that those are good?” I asked a little scared.
“No they’re not, but those are.” he said pointing to the next set of waves; they were double the size of the first.
“Are you crazy, those are huge?”
“Don’t worry I’ll do all the work, just jump up when I say” he said with a smile.
We let the first set flow under us as Orli egg beat to turn the board, I looked behind us and saw the wave, but I know I was in good hands. Orlando paddled hard as the waves grow and shouted “up” I snapped up and kept my knees bent as we rode the waves it was the best ride in my life. I kept still as he did all turns and twists till the wave died I was laughing and had a huge smile on my face. We got back to the boat as I climbed the ladder I heard clapping Johnny and Keira were clapping and laughing as Orli handed me my towel “I can’t believe that you went surfing with him he’s crazy” Keira said. As I took off the rash guard I didn’t know it but Johnny had seen the bruises on my arms, “wow Lizzie what happened to your arms.”
“Oh, nothing I’m a total klutz I walked into a wall. I’m fine, don’t worry.”
It was three in the afternoon when we got back to marina, after we tied up the boat and piled back into the car headed on the drive back Keira just kept looking at me with this weird look on her face, it was half way thru the drive when Johnny turned to me and asked “Will you go out with me tonight?”
Blushing I smiled and said “Of course, I’d love to.”
“Great be ready to go at six.”
We got back the hotel and I grabbed Keira's hand and dragged her up to my room and as soon as the door was close I screamed “What the hell am I doing going out with Johnny, I can’t do this, I just get my heart broken, if I let him in. He’s in a relationship, a bad one, but…”
“Ok first chill out, second Johnny will not break you heart, because for the first time since I have known him his heart is beating again. Ok Liz come clean where did you get those bruises.”
“What bruises?” as I looked at my clothes trying to find something to wear tonight.
She grabbed my arm said “these bruises and don’t you dare tell me that you walked into a wall or something like that.”
I walked over to the door, turned the lock, and sat down on the bed staring at the floor. I couldn’t look her in the eye and said softly “I walked into Vanessa literally when I left the room the second time and she hit me across my face and slammed me into the wall, holding my arms hard she yelled at me calling a little girl and saying that Johnny needed a real women and I was not to tell anyone.” I was crying. “Keira I can’t do this, I want to fight for him and the kids and every time I gain an inch she pushes me back ten feet. “Maybe I should just go home and just forget him and live a normal life, till death.” I cried into the blankets. Keira came over and pulled me into her lap and held me till the tears stopped. “Do you want me to call Johnny and cancel the date?”
“No, I want to be with him, we fit and you are right I see it in his eyes his heart is alive and beating again.”
After taking a shower and picking out the right dress and shoes, Keira was straightening my hair my heart was beating hard, because of the phone call that I gotten when I had finished my shower.
I was drying my hair when my cell went off it was Johnny.
“Hey how are you?”
“Good. How are you? You ready for our date tonight?” he asked.
“I’m good. Yes, but I have to know do you really like me or is this just some game.” showing my true feelings at the moment.
"Lizzie, I have never played with a girl’s feelings in my life and I don’t plan on starting now, you have given me back my heart in every way I feel like I’m walking on air all the time and I always have a smile on my face.” he said and I could hear the truth in his words.
"So will I see you at six?”

I was dressed and Keira was finishing my make up, I wore a black A-line with thin straps that decorated with three beads each and tie at the bust line and tan sandals, I looked into the mirror to make sure that mark on my cheek was gone. “Don’t worry, he’ll never know.” That was when we heard a knock at the door Keira opened the door and there Johnny in black linen pants, a dark blue tank under a black linen dress shirt and black dress shoes holding three long stem soft pink roses.
"Wow you clean up nice Sparrow” Keira said giggling.
"Watch it missy or you will be fed to the sharks.” Johnny said with a smirk.
They both laugh as she let him in and I came into the room, I stopped when I saw him, he looked so hot, so I smiled and walked up to him with a little sway in my walk.
"Hello”
"Hello, love these are for you and you look amazing” he said handing me the roses which I put in a vase and said bye to Keira but just as we pass the door she said to Johnny “you break her heart or hurt her in any way and you’ll be the eunuch.”
"Yes ma’am” he said.
We got into his car drove away from the hotel heading into the city
"So where are we going?” I asked.
"It’s a secret, but trust me you’ll love it.”
As we drove thru LA my mind was racing with questions and my heart was beating like crazy, but oddly the breeze was claming me down. We turned a corner and I saw the Viper Room, his club. I couldn’t believe it, this is the best and most elite club in LA. I turn to Johnny and say “the Viper Room holy God, are you sure that I’m dressed right for it.”
"You are dressed perfectly for the club and you look hot. Take a deep breath and relax.” he said to me as he took my hand and kissed it. We walked to door the bouncer let us in saying hello to Johnny and we headed to the owner’s booth I was so overwhelmed by the club that I bumped right to someone I looked down, held out a hand and said “I’m soo sorry are you alright.”
“I’m fine you little slut and get your low class hand out of my face” a snotty female voice said to me. It was Vanessa. I looked to the floor and took a deep breathe I wasn’t going to let her ruin my date. I noticed where she was sitting she had draped herself over the owners’ booth and was wearing the tightest and most low cut dress in the world, if I looked like a slut then she was the queen of the whores. Johnny came to the booth with drinks and handed me a strawberry margarita and looked at Vanessa and said “What the hell are you doing here?” I knew that a fight was about to start and I didn’t want that because tonight was my night. I took a breath and looked Vanessa straight in the eyes and said “look I’m about to prove that you have lost and I have won once and for all” I then turned to Johnny and kissed him right on the lips and said “be ready to dance.”
“Ok” he said giving me a weird look. I walked over to DJ booth and asked if he could play Pussycat Dolls “Buttons” he said “sure”. The music started and I swear to this day that the spirit of every female that as ever fallen for Johnny entered my body and I started to move and Johnny walked over to me and we started to dance. As the song finished the club cheered, we danced and had few drinks and then he led me to the beach. He asked “Do you trust me?”
“Of course I do” I replied. As he slipped a blindfold over my eyes and led me away from the club and closer to the water, my first thought was that he was about to drunk me in the sea, but that left when I felt him sit down and then place me on his lap. “Can I open my eyes?”
“Yes you can.”
I removed the blindfold and stared to those beautiful chocolate eyes of his. We were on a blanket and just out of reach of the waves. “Why are you so happy” I asked.
He smiled and kissed my lips and whispered “because, I feel like I could walk on clouds, you completed told her off. No one has done that in the last five years. You are my new girlfriend and possibly the best.”
“Well you know when you got it… wait a minute did you just say girlfriend.” I said shocked.
“Yes I did” he said kissing my lips, as his hands moved to the hem of my dress and started to push it up my legs. I jumped and looked into his eyes and said “Mr. Depp just what do you think you are doing?”
“Lizzie I would never take you like that this is just a reward for what you did tonight, trust me, please.”
“Johnny I do trust you it’s just that you are truly my first boyfriend and the first guy to go this far.”
“I will go as slow as you want, and if you want to stop at any time I will, Savvy.”
I just nodded, letting him continue. He grabbed my neck greedily with his mouth. I gasped at his sudden change, arching my neck up to give him more access. His fingers skillfully untie the tie on my dress, pushing the straps down revealing my black lace strapless bra. “Shh, keep it down, or you’ll wake Lizzie.”
“What is she doing with you… did you and her do it last night or…oh you are dead man you take her out and got her nice and drunk and raped her didn’t you son of a bitch.”
“Now hold on William you know me better than that I would never do that to anyone especially Lizzie, we did go out last night and had a few drinks but I didn’t rape her. Why are calling so early anyway, there nothing scheduled today.”
“Gore called last night telling us about an important meeting regarding the sequel and new cast.”
“So why should I care?”
“You get your drunken ass up or I’ll burn all the rum again” a female voice shouted over the phone.
“Keep your corset on Miss Swann, I’ll there as soon as I can savvy.”
“Whatever” Orlando replied hanging up.

We got dressed and picked up the blanket and drove back to hotel and parked the car. We walked to the elevator giving little kisses all the way. I was happy it so early because if any fan girls would ever seen us I would have died. We got to my room and he lead to me to the bed, after helping me out of my clothes and into a pair of boxers and tank top, he laid me down and kissing me and said “go back to sleep, I’ll see you later. I love you.”
I opened one eye and kissed his lips and said “I love you too.”
I fell asleep as he went to his meeting. When I woke up it was about noon I rubbing my eyes, looking around I saw a handwritten note lying on the pillow next to mine.

I’m sorry that I can’t see you awake, because it brightens my day and life, please go and have a nice relaxing day till my return. Charge it all to my room and I’ll see you at the pool around four this afternoon.

I was about to cry, it was a dream come true. I rolled over and grabbed the phone to order room service when they answered they called me Mrs. Depp I lightly giggled and ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and a diet coke Then I called to make an appointment at the spa, they told me that everything set up for me and to be there by 1:30, I said thank you and hung up the phone my mind was in neural. Johnny had called the spa set up a great day for me and said he would pay for everything. I was getting a full body message, manicure and pedicure. After having lunch and taking a shower I packed a swimsuit and towel and dressed in tank top and shorts and headed to the spa. I walked to the spa as I did hoping that Vanessa would not show her face. My hopes were smashed as she and two thugs dragged me outside.
“I thought I said to go home, little girl.” She spat at me as the thugs threw into the wall I hit a drain pipe and fell to the ground.
I pulled myself up and looked her in the eye “Look Miss-I-think-I’m-all-that, I’m not leaving! I don’t care how much you push, hit and threw me around. I won’t leave Johnny or the kids, because I don’t want him to fell back in the hellhole of a life you had him in.” At that point she let the boys beat the crap out of me the last thing I saw was a fist coming at my head. I woke up to see Keira and hotel staff helping me up.
“Lizzie, come on talk to me.” Keira gently tapped my face.
“Hey” I groaned as I tried to stand on my own.
Keira look at me then asked “Vanessa?”
“Vanessa and two thugs, she is not happy that I’m willing to fight.” As we walked to elevators and got on headed to our floor “I guess the spa day is canceled, damn after he went to all the trouble.”
“Don’t worry about that, I’m the manger of the hotel, I’ll take care it.” As we reached the room, one of the staff handed Keira a first aid kit as I lied on the bed.
“Thank you.” Keira and I said, the staff left as I took one of the pillows and hid under it screaming. “It’s just not fair, you know I’m just trying to make him smile and she has to stop me at every turn.”
“Look we will just hang out here and then met the boys at the pool in two hours, now let’s see how bad the damage is.” She and I went into the bathroom where she had me strip down and take a shower, as I dried off she could see that I had two black eyes, dark bruises up and down my arms, a huge cut on my back from the pipe, and my ribs hurt, but I wasn’t going to let her make me leave.
“Lizzie you have to go to the hospital and now or she’ll win by default. Please tell Johnny truth, he won’t think any less of you. Here is for you.” She hands me a piece of paper.
It was another handwritten note from Johnny.

I hope that you are enjoying your relaxation at the spa. I’ll be back in an hour or so and ready to go swimming. So why don’t you and Keira go swimsuit shopping. Not that I don’t love your pirate one, but this is California and you will need some more.

There were tears in my eyes I was lying to him and he was putting all of his trust in me, “You are right I should tell him the truth and I will tonight, please Keira don’t tell Orlando or spill anything to Johnny, ok.” I said as she took care of my injuries.
“Deal, now just rest for now ok.”
“Ok.” I fell asleep and waken up by her shaking my shoulder saying that we were going to be late. We made it just as Michelle the sitter was coming in with Lilly and Jack. She had been the best sitter for them and so Johnny had hired her full time and was now their new nanny. She and I found two free chairs and laid to tan we were there for maybe ten minutes when all of the sudden I felt a pair of hands on my back; I knew who it was the man who had given me the best time of my life the past few days. So in my best cali voice I said “’cuse me but you are blocking all the sun”
“I’m sorry” as he picks me up and was just about to throw into the pool when he saw my eyes and could see the hidden pain in them as well.
“Lizzie, what happen did you walk into another door and did the door fight back or something?” I saw the sadness in his eyes.
I look at Keira and mouthed sorry, “Oh Keira and I were just sparring after we went shopping and I guess things got out of hand.” I hoped that Johnny would buy it and I knew that I would have to tell him the truth tonight.
“Just be glad that they weren’t play with swords or Lizzie would really be in trouble.” Orlando piped in. Johnny just walked over to the other end and sat in one chairs staring at the ground, I knew that I would have to win back that trust. At about six we head back to the room when we spilt up Johnny turned to me while he herded the kids out of the pool area and said “Be ready to go in one hour ok.”
I took a twenty minute shower, brushed my teeth, did my hair up in a French twist and put on my low rise capris and a thin beige tank with cherry blossoms on it and tan sandals. I checked to make sure that all the injuries were taken care of and took a deep breath and let it out. Then there was a knock on the door I knew who it was, grabbing my purse and phone and answered the door, Johnny looked great in his low rise jeans and a silk button up shirt. We drove to marina and got on his yacht and sailed for about twenty minutes, I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist and kissed him with only the moon and stars watching us. He lowered the anchor and said he would be right back as he went below deck I leaned against the rail and softly started to sing “Bing Me to Life” and sway my hips. He leaned against the doorway of the cabin and listened to me.
“You have an amazing voice” he said softly.
I jumped and grabbed the rail so I wouldn’t fell backwards “Thanks, I didn’t know that you were there.”
“Welcome, love” as he greedily kisses my neck as his hands grind me into him.
“Johnny” I breathed and pant as lips, teeth, tongue, and hands assault my body we slowly move into the cabin where there are rose petals and candles everywhere, the floor and the bed.

I stood up from the bed and look him straight in the eyes, “Johnny I have something to tell you.” I turned away from those chocolate eyes and stared at the floor “it was Vanessa, she the one who gave me all the bruises and earlier today she had two thugs beat me, she was saying that I’m just a little girl and you need a real woman.” I looked into his eyes and added “maybe it would just be better for the both us if we are just friends, nothing more. I’ll go now.” I started grabbing my clothes ready to leave when he grabbed my hands and pulled me into a kiss.
“Don’t listen to her she’s the little girl, she has to beat you down and tell you that you should go, rather then just opening her eyes and seeing the truth. “Hi Lizzie” Lilly’s voice come thru the line.
“Hi sweetie what’s up” I ask.
“Nothing really, Daddy is taking me and Jack to Sea World in two hours and he wants you to come. So do you want to?” she asked.
I could kiss that girl she was setting everything at a fast pace but I know why, she wanted her dad to be happy, “Sure, I would love to go. See you in two hours.” hanging up.
Lilly hung up the phone went back to the table to finish her breakfast. She knew that her dad was giving her a curious look. She just finished her cereal and said “hi daddy.”
“Hi honey what’s this about me taking you and your brother to Sea World.” Johnny asked.
“Well you said that we could go this week and so I thought that today would be a great day to go, because one it’s a school day, two you have nothing to do, three Vanessa is away all day along so no worries and we can actually have some fun and four Lizzie wants to go.”
“Does she now, well we have two hours, let’s get ready”
I had just finished braiding my hair when there was a knock on the door; I opened it to find Johnny and kids ready to go. He was looking very hot in tight ripped blue jeans and a graphic t-shirt. Lilly and Jack ran past him and latched onto my leg “ready to go” they asked.
“Yes, I’m ready” I said to them and as I bend to get my purse giving Johnny a great view of my ass. Johnny pulled me aside and asked “How are you? Sure you want to go out we can just stay here?”
For once I didn’t care who saw me I pulled him to me and kissed him after a good minute or so before I let go, his lips were red and bruised and he was blushing “how that’s for answer.” Lily was laughing and pointing at both of us.
“Am I the only adult here, if we don’t go now the park will be slammed.”
“Ok, we’re coming.” His eyes look over my outfit, tight jeans shorts and a blue cotton tank that had a heart and sparrow with a banner that read “a Pirates Life for Me” on the front.
“I love the outfit, you look very hot.” He said with a smile.
“Thanks I picked it out just for you.” I smiled back at him. As we rode the shuttle to the park my mind was in a haze how did he get away and not have Vanessa on his ass bitching at him.
“Johnny?”
“Hmm.”
“Not that I don’t love hanging out with you and the kids, but…”
“How did I get away from the monster?”
“Yeah”
“She is at a photo shoot, if she thinks the theme will help her to get me back, she’s crazy.”
“Why? What’s the theme?”
“Pirates and it’s an underwear ad.”
I laughed and shook my head some girls don’t know when to quit. It was noon when we arrived at the park, Jack and Lilly was ready to have a fun day with their dad. There were new rides and shows. She pulled Johnny into the line, as Jack pulled me. The coaster was the Sea Monster it was bright green monster that we knew we could tame. The four of us got into the second car near the back, we went thru tight loops and whiplash turns and turned the car upside down in the air and that were the camera was to take you picture. It was the best picture ever Johnny and Lilly upside down in the air. Their hair was all over the place and with the biggest smiles on their faces the same was said for me and Jack. After the coaster we went to lunch and then to see Shamu, Johnny went to seat in the splash zone but I shook my head and choose a seat in the dry zone. Both Lilly and I were entranced with the show, till they asked if anyone wanted to help them with the final trick. Lilly jumped up and ran down the stairs and I followed saying sorry every step of the way. When we got to the stage the trainer just smiled and said that she was fine and that we both could help. She asked if we had seen the movie “Free Willy” we both nodded and she said give the two finger signal just before we did we saw a ten foot wall break the surface of the water. So Lilly and I gave the signal and we saw Shamu dive deep, Lilly and I were whispering the pray as the trainer held the mic near us so the arena could hear us. Lilly and I gave the signal and Shamu broke thru the water jumped the wall clearing it, and turn and swam back to where we were and beached onto the stage for the ending. Lilly and I got our pictures taken where she was sitting behind the dorsal fin and I kneeling down by the whale’s eye and knew that she could clearly see both Lilly and I. We headed back to hotel in the shuttle and I called my new friend Katie. She was going to die.
In the geek pit at Bellevue Community College, Katie’s cell rings and she answers “Hey Little HP. How’s California? Meet any hot guys yet and did you rape Johnny and Orlando yet because if you did I want pictures.” she said smiling. We are crazy and have a weird sense of humor, but we don’t mean any harm.
“Hi dirty Katie, California is great and sunny, and yes I have met a few hotties, but I didn’t rape Johnny and Orli because that’s mean, but you’ll never guess what I’m doing right now”
“Having sex?”
“No! Gutter brain, I’m riding back from Sea World with Johnny Depp and the kids.”
“No way in hell you lying whore. Prove it.”
“Ok, slut. Call you right back”
“Ok”
I turn to Lilly and handed her my phone while I sat in Johnny’s lap, “ready” she asks. “Ready go for it” she takes the picture, saves it, and hands the cell back to me as I sent the picture to Katie and counted the seconds to see how long she would take to call me back. “Hey why did you just snap a picture of us” Johnny asked.
“Because Katie doesn’t believe me” I said and kissed him on the lips. “Nine, ten” then my cell rang and I had to hold it away from my ear. She was screaming so loud that even Johnny’s ears hurt. “Katie… Katie… Kathleen” I said trying to clam her down.
“Huh… what” she said.
“You ok there girl.”
“Yeah, just fine, so spill girl is he hot and is he good in bed, are you still a virgin.”
“Yes, don’t know yet and yes, but I’ll tell you everything later, k.”
“K, bye lover.”
“Bye dirty Katie”
When we got back to hotel Johnny and I put the kids down for a nap and headed to the pool after letting Michelle that they were back in the room and asleep. When we past thru the gate we could Orli and Keira laughing and splashing. I was just about to join in the fun when Johnny dropped to one knee and took my hand in his asked “Milady, will you accompany me to an evening meal and then dancing afterwards tomorrow night?”
I blushed and said “I would be glad to kind sir.”
I been with him for a few days, but I was still worried that when I leave he was going to forget about me. My mind was racing with questions: Does he really like me? Or was this just some sick game that he and the others were playing? Even though Keira had told me that he wasn’t like that my realistic side was showing, I had to ask him and hear it from his own lips.
“Johnny, can I talk to you over by the chairs?” I asked
“Sure” he said as we walked over the folding chairs and sat down.
“What’s wrong Lizzie?” he asked.
I sighed and asked “Is this for real or is this a game that stars play on young fan girls? I know Keira said that you would never hurt me, but let’s face it I’m a 21 year old who is not a thin hot super model and you are a major hot actor, who has a wife and two great kids why would you want me? Just tell me that is this real and I’m not dreaming.”
He sighed. He remembers when I had asked the same thing a few nights before. He knew that I would need some reinsurance from time to time, so I would know that this wasn’t a game plus the fact that Vanessa was making it really hard for me to believe it. So he took both of my hands in his and looked me straight in the eyes and said “Elizabeth, first she’s my ex-wife and a bitch, so don’t listen to anything she says. Second I would never ever play with any girl’s emotions. This more real than any relationship I have had. I would never, ever hurt you. You have given me my heart back when I thought I had lost it forever and you have shown me that I still deserve an angel, after the wild things I have done in my life. Elizabeth I love you with all my heart and soul.”
I was crying when he finished and he pulled me into a hug and wiped the tears away.
“So ready to soak those two losers” he said jerking his head towards the pool where Orli and Keira still playing.
“Totally” as he kissed my lips and we jumped into pool and the water game begun. The rest of day was spent at the pool and just hanging out. The four of us had dinner at the hotel it was nice to just sit and talk. Keira was into anime as well, it blew me away. She and I both loved Inuyasha and started talking about how Johnny and Inuyasha were very much alike.
“If I didn’t know any better I would think Johnny and Inu were one and the same. I mean I think I see some of the gold coming back in his eyes, don’t you.”
She smiled “yeah I see what you mean.” Orlando and Johnny were confused the rest of the night. After dinner we headed back to our rooms “Night Sango.” I said to Keira.
“Night Kagome and don’t let him go full demon on you, ok.”
I smiled “I won’t and if he does I have the beads in my bag, and watch out for Miroku’s hands.” Johnny and I went to my room and as soon as the door was closed that was when all the questions came.
“Who or what is Inuyasha? Who are Sango, Miroku and Kagome? And what are the beads and all of this full demon stuff?” he asked looking like he was trying to find the code that Keira and I were talking in.
“It’s an anime about a half dog demon and half human named Inuyasha and for all the other stuff it’s easier to show you than tell you.” The rest of the night was spent in front of the computer switching between episodes and fan pages.
The next day I woke up in his arms and he was smiling “what”
“Nothing you look like an angel while you sleep” he said.
“Oh ok, what time is this dinner tonight” I asked playing with his hair.
“Eight o’clock and its black tie event.”
“Oh ok” a little depressed I didn’t bring a formal dress. He raised my chin and kissed me.
“Don’t worry, I saw that you didn’t bring a formal dress so I will give my card and you and Keira can go shopping, dress, shoes, the works it’s all on me.”
If I added up all the money that he spent on me already it would be about thousand or so.
“Johnny, thank you, but I feel really guilty about spending all your money, I have some cash on me, and I can find something nice, at one of the discount stores.”
“Don’t feel guilty. I want to treat you to a true Hollywood shopping trip” as he hands me the card, “have fun” as he got up, I drooled at the sight of him only in boxers, he added little sway of his hips, he turn to look at me smiled then blew me a kiss as he close the bathroom door.
Someone was knocking on the door so I put on a pair of shorts and tank and opened the door. It was Keira “so ready to go”
She said as she walked into the room looking around. “I guess so, what are you looking for or should I say who.”
“Johnny” she said with a giggle.
“In the shower and no you can’t go in.”
As I grabbed my purse and phone I put his card in my wallet and left a note for him and we left. After stopping at Jamba Juice for a morning start, we walked around and window shopped. I told her about Johnny and I talked about last night “I can’t believe that you didn’t listen me when I told you before, he won’t hurt you.”
“I know that now. So how am I going to shop in these stores?”
“What don’t you ever go shopping in Issaquah?”
“Yes I do, Juliet, but I mean these high price stores they won’t have my size and…”
“First never use that name again and second take a breath and chill out. Just walk in like you own the place.”
“Easy for you, I can barely afford the windows let alone the whole store.”
We laughed as we walked into the first store, but their highest size was a six and they brushed past me to help Keira.
“Don’t worry, we will find the perfect dress for you.”
That was two hours ago I was ready to call Johnny and tell him just to forget the date when I saw the most beautiful dress ever. I placed my hands on the window and stared at it, a golden brown strapless floor length gown a beaded vine along the waist and neckline over a thin black satin ribbon. I walked into the store and begin to ask if they had the dress in my size when the salesgirl saw Keira and said
“Ms. Knightly how lovely to see you today, how can I help you?”
Keira and I just rolled our eyes.
“Excuse me miss, but I could use some help” I said to the girl.
“Can’t you see I’m busy here? Go away and shop at the Wal-Mart down the road in farm country. I have real costumers to help.” she replied.
Going back to Keira to see if she needed anything I just leaned against the door and sulked when I saw Orlando walk up and wave to me. I gave a little wave back.
“What’s the matter, baby?” winking at me. I smiled and tried not to laugh.
“The lady wouldn’t help me” I pouted wrapping my arms around his neck and nuzzling my face into his chest. He rubs my back soothingly, eyeing the lady angrily.
“Well that’s unacceptable, excuse me” Orlando took my hand walking over to the salesgirl.
When she saw Orlando I could tell she was trying not to go all wet right there and then.
“Yes, Mr. Bloom, how can I help you?” She smiled sweetly, and then noticed he was holding my hand. She looked like she was going to sick. I had to control myself so I wouldn’t laugh.
“Why won’t you help my girlfriend?” kissing my cheek.
“Well…well…I…I...” he cut her off.
“No excuse, now get your act together and help her out or I’ll make sure you never work again.” she scurried away, look for the dress.
“Now I’ll look out for you-know-who and you have some fun.” he kissed my cheek again, walking back to the door. She smiled at him as he left the store I smiled, mouthing “I will.”
“What size do you need, miss” the sales girl asks me.
“Size 13 or 14” I said to her
“Well we don’t…”
Orlando turns and glares at her muttering in elfish.
“There should be one in the back.”
Keira and I burst into giggle fits. The sales girl comes back with the dress. Keira and I went in the dressing room I took off my tank and shorts she held the dress over my head and slipped over I pushed it down. Keira laced up the back and the neckline sat right on my breasts showing a little cleavage, but not enough to flash everyone. I walked out to look in the mirror and I looked incredible. Keira smiled and said “He is going to pin you down and take you tonight.”
“Get you mind out of the gutter.” I went back into the dressing room and took off the dress and changed back into my shorts and tank top.
“Will that be all, miss?”
“No I need shoes, jewelry, and a handbag as well.”
She leads me over the shoe wall and I looked at all the high stiletto heels I searched the wall to the find the perfect pair, there they were a pair of black satin ballet slippers with a low heel. “Those” I said pointing them out to her.
“What size” she asks.
“9” I answer.
She went to the back room and found the right size and set them on the floor so that I could try them on. They fit, so then it over to the jewelry area. I look over the earrings and necklaces to see what they had. I see a pair of black and white pearl with diamond earrings and dull gold satin ribbon chocker with a teardrop black pearl. That suited the dress so well how could I not get them. Keira was looking at the hand bags for me, she saw the best one it was the same color as the dress and had the bearded vine as well. She call me over and shows me the bag I just smile and walk over to counter as the salesgirl asks “will that be everything, miss.”
“Yes, that will be everything”
She bought everything over the counter put the shoes, earrings, chocker, and handbag into a bag and a bag was put over the dress.
“How will you be paying for this?”
I handed her Johnny’s card just as Orli is waving like a madman and mouthing “hurry up he’s coming.”
The salesgirl swipes the card and sees the name up on the computer screen and asks “Miss is this, card yours?” Orlando glares at her and says to me “will you please sign.”
Keira and I grabbed the dress and the bag with the shoes, handbag and jewelry and leave the store laughing like fools and I see Johnny coming up to the store I ran to him jumped into his arms, we fall to ground as I kissed him with all the love and passion in my heart. “Hell love, what was that for not that I mind.”
“I just had the best shopping trip ever thank you” I said to him he looks at Orli and Keira as we brush ourselves off and stand up “what’s so funny is it about me.”
Orli sighs “no for once you weren’t the topic of the conversion.”
He tells Johnny what happened at the dress store and after about two minutes we were all holding our sides from laughing so hard.
When I could breath again I asked Orlando “what did you say in elfish.”
“That’s the best part it was ’what a nice afternoon’” he replied.
It was four o’clock after we all stopped to eat lunch we started to walk back to the hotel and I asked “So what’s this dinner tonight why did I need such a nice dress?”
“It’s an awards party for the cast and crew and Gore thought that the theme should be a masked ball.” Johnny said to me.
“Wow that it is so cool. So you are who going with Keira?”
I looked at her and Orlando, “Orlando maybe.”
“No, it’s a secret you’ll just have to wait and see.” as she smiled at me.
As soon as we got back to the hotel Keira said bye to the boys and headed up to her room and laid out the dress and shoes and I went to my room and come back with my make up box. When I got back she was messing with the stereo, soon the room was full of pop music, and I smiled. She was laying out her dress I saw the top and laughed. The top was a crushed black velvet corset a thin gold trim and the skirt was a beautiful silk with a gold design on the hem.
“So are you going to tell me who is taking you the party?” I asked as she headed for the shower.
“No way in hell, you’ll just have to wait and see.”
After she was done I took mine, I looked in the mirror and I saw all the sadness and worry was gone from my eyes. I washed my face and then did my make-up, some powder, a little blush, some bronze eye shadow, and golden-pink lips. I walked over to the stereo and changed the CD to one of my favorite songs Skater boy.
“Hey k will you help me with my hair?”
“Sure.”
I was dancing and singing to the song she grabbed me and sat me down shaking her head.
“So why this song?”
“Because it is so Johnny.”
She walked around twice thinking about what to do. She started braiding my bangs, so that they formed a headband and the ends where pinned under and then straighten the rest, I looked like a queen. Keira looked like royalty as well her hair was piled on her head and held there with hair gems. It was 7:30 and we were just relaxing when someone knocked at the door.
“Come in” I said.
Orlando walked into the room looking great in black dress pants and a black dress shirt, he looked around for me and asked “Lizzie, are you decent?”
“Yes, but William, you will have to wait, I belong to the captain tonight.” Then I saw the scared look in his eyes. “Orlando what’s wrong?”
“I have good news and bad news." he said
"Oh ok good news, you look hot and Keira's right Johnny will take you tonight."
"Bad news?"
"I think you may want to come out to the hallway.” he said with worry in his voice.
“Orli, what‘s wrong?” I was a little scared.
“Vanessa.”
That was all I needed to hear. I left the room and walked maybe five feet before I heard yelling, shouting, and crying. I turned the corner to see Vanessa body slam Johnny into the wall and scream “What do you think you were doing inviting that fat ugly whore to the ball instead of me your wife.”
Johnny sat on the floor coughing and holding his head. He gripped the wall to stand and looked Vanessa straight in the eye and said “She is not a whore, she is more beautiful then you can ever hope to be. She cares about me and my children unlike you, who just wanted the fame, money and to brag to all your friends that you screwed Johnny Depp, had his kids, and played him for sucker and for the last time you are not my wife. Elizabeth is more a wife than you have been, she cares for me.” he said coughing and holding his side.
Lilly and Jack were standing in the doorway of the next room with Michelle who was trying to take them inside. I knelt down on the floor and hugged Lilly and Jack telling them that everything would be ok.
“Well I think that these pictures will change your mind.” She held out some photos as Johnny looked at them he saw that it was me either naked or shopping for underwear and others of Vanessa from the photo shoot the other day. She was dressed in a tight lace corset and a small lacey skirt that left little to imagination. He hit her hand sending the photos to the ground.
“How dare you, taking those type photos of Elizabeth, and you think that you can win me back by you dressing up like the lowest pirate whore?” That was when I heard a thud and a yelp of pain, there was a blood spot on the wall and Johnny on the floor blood in his hair and cheek and his head in his hands.
“Johnny, love are you ok” Vanessa moved to kneel by him, but before he could say a word, I answered for him.
“You bitch! How can you show concern for him after you caused the pain?” I ask her as I slapped her across the face.
Vanessa stood and stared at me and I stared right back. “You are just a low class gold digger who just wants to get laid.”
“First of all I’m not low class; I work, and go to school. So I have money and I know you went to the photo shoot thinking that you could win him back. But you are wrong. I don’t have dress up in underwear to make him love me, because unlike you I love Johnny for who he is not just his fame, Lilly is a great kid with a lot of passion for art, dance, and music, and you don’t know anything about her. Jack has a great sense of humor and loves to play soccer and you don’t even notice. So just stay away from him and the kids if I ever see you near them again I’ll make sure you suffer. Take a good look Vanessa, the little girl is gone in her place is a woman who loves Johnny for who he is not for his job.”
By this time manager of the hotel and the police were there, because of the noise. Johnny had managed to stand up and explained everything that had happened. “Arrest her” he said pointing to Vanessa.
“Hold on” I lifted the hem of the dress and delivered a round house kick to Vanessa’s stomach, “now you can take her away. Here take these too.” I handed the photos to the officer “these are hidden photos she had taken of me.”
“Johnny are you ok” as he leaned on me for support.
“Kind of, everything is all fuzzy” he says trying to stand on his own and failing.
“Go lay down and rest, ok I’ll be right there, Orli will you help him” I look at the Brit.
“Sure no problem” he says.
The police officer came over to me offering an ice pack for Johnny or even the medics “No, thank you if you could make sure that she never comes near Johnny or his children again.”
“Sure thing, you most really like him to defend him like this” he said to me smiling as he and the other officers left. I walk into Johnny’s room and heading to the bedroom to see a funny sight. Johnny trying to stop Orli from taking off his shirt and Orlando was just getting all the more flustered. I leaned against the doorframe and shaking my head.
“If you two just want to be in bed together that’s fine, but it will have to wait for another time. Orli you know Johnny’s hurt shame on you.” I said trying to sound very serious.
“Shut up wench, and fetch some rum for me and me mate.” Orli said trying to take the role of Capt. Jack Sparrow, but it didn’t work.
“That was the worst imitation ever, now Johnny I want you to take off your shirt and shoes and lay on the bed while I get the first aid kit.”
“What about the dinner, Love. You look amazing and you should enjoy the party. Go with Orli and rest of the cast, I’ll be fine.” Johnny said trying to stand up and walk to the bathroom, but he fall off the bed rather than rising off the bed. Orlando and I help him up and laid him down on the bed I lightly kissed his lips.
“Oh no you don’t, there will be other parties and dates so you just stay there till I come back.” I say to him as Orli and I walk out the door.
“So who are taking to the party?” I asked as we got to the main door.
“Zoe, her boyfriend couldn’t make it so I asked her. We going to see how trouble we cause at the party. I’ll tell Gore what happened and see about sending some food up.”
“Don’t worry about it, I don’t know if he can handle anything right now, but take pictures for me ok.”
“Sure. Take good care of him, he may not know it, but if he hadn’t taken the part, the movie would have sucked.”
“I will don’t worry and have fun.” After he left I grabbed an ice pack, a towel, and the first aid kit and walked back to the bedroom to find the most lustful sight ever, Johnny laying on the bed topless, hand over his eyes, and staring at the ceiling.
“You know if you weren’t injured I would so pin you to the bed and take you right now.” I said to him as I set the kit on the table. “Here sit up”
He does with a little groaning as I sit behind him and move his hair see where the wound is, I was worried that it would be really bad and we would have to go the hospital, but thank the gods it wasn’t. It was a small wound so I swab it with some alcohol to stop any infection and wipe away the blood, wrapping the top of his head with some gauze, while I was doing that I was gently humming YoHo A Pirate’s life for me.
“Ok, lay down here while I check you over.”
I help him lay on his stomach to check his back which fine, his cheek was only a little bruised but it would fade, I placed the ice pack which was wrapped in a towel on his cheek. I gently slide my hands down his side making sure that there were no broken ribs. Other than a few bumps and bruises he was going to fine and everything would be ok.
“Let’s watch a movie, order some dinner, and just relax” I said to him as he laid down the bed. I order pizza and drinks, looked thru the movies, he had. I noticed that there were only two of his, Sleepy Hollow and Choclat. I saw The Mummy and turned the bed “Is The Mummy ok with you”
“Yeah, I could use a laugh right now” he said softly, trying to laugh, but it turned into a cough.
“Maybe we should go to sleep and forget the food and movie.”
“No, we missed dinner and I’m hungry.”
“Ok.”
I put the movie into the DVD player. I told him that I would right back. I went to my room, to grab some boxers, tank top, toothbrush, and toothpaste. I was walking back to his room when I heard Keira call my name, I turn to see her on Jack’s arm with a smile on her face.
“So Elizabeth and Norrington, wow there’s a twist. You guys look great.” Jack was wearing black dress pants and dull gold button up shirt and a black sports coat.
“Thanks. How’s Johnny?” Keira asked.
“Like he just took on the whole royal navy and barely won, I could just kill Vanessa for this I really wanted to go to the party with him and she ruined it and he looked so hot tonight. Oh well I guess I’ll see you guys in the morning, night.” They headed to the party I went back to tend to my pirate. He was on the phone when I came back and hung up as soon as he saw me. I looked him in the eye and said “What are you up to?”
“Nothing” he said with a smile.
“Whatever.”
I went to the bathroom to change and came out when I heard the door bell ring. Johnny handed me money, I know that he wouldn’t let me pay. I set the pizza on the counter, got a pair of glasses, ice and brought all of it into the bedroom. We ate pizza, laughing as Brendan makes fun at himself and all of the stunts. After about half an hour I looked to see how Johnny was doing to see the cutest sight in my life. He was asleep on my lap, with bits of pizza on his face; I wiped his face and threaded my fingers thru his hair finishing the movie. After the movie ended, I cleaned up the dinner dishes and checked Johnny injuries. His cheek was purple, and the ice was all melted, but it had done its job, the swelling was gone. I unwrapped the bandage from his head, I was moving his hair when I felt hands over mine, and I look down to see his eyes flutter open.
“Hey how are you” I whisper to him.
“Fine” he said to me.
“You fell asleep after thirty minutes into the movie, how’s your head for real.”
“I could use some rum to kill the pain.”
“Sorry Jack, no rum. I want you to wake up in the morning not pass out and fall into a coma.”
“Ok Lizzie, I’ll be good.”
“Are you hungry, thirsty?”
“Thirsty.”
I move off of the bed and out of his arms as I lay his head on the pillow instead of my lap. I grabbed two water bottles out of the refrigerator and the bottle of Ibuprofen for his head. The minute I was in reach he took the bottle of pain revelers and one of the waters and took three pills gulped down half the bottle.
“Easy pal. Hey guess who took Keira to the party?”
“Who?”
“Jack Davenport, they look so good together. Orli took Zoe, only because her boyfriend couldn’t come.”
I turn off the lights in the other rooms and came back to bed. Johnny slipped out of his pants and messed with his cell for two seconds before he lay down and I laid my head over his heart lightly drumming my fingers to the beat. His arms cradled me to him and he kissed my hair whispering “I love you” in my ear.
“I love you too Johnny, night.” as I fell asleep to kisses and his heartbeat.
--- I was on the Black Pearl as Lady Sparrow with my captain and just the ocean ahead of us, then the ocean was gone and I was in a nightshirt walking down a hall following a beautiful male voice, I walk into a room and see Johnny softly singing and rocking a baby “Hello Love” as I enter the room and he places the baby in the crib “good night Marie” I peer into the crib as the baby eyes close, but I saw my own stare back at me. Johnny wraps his arms around me and pulls me close, whispers “time to wake up”---
I slowly wake from dreamland; he was kissing my cheek, trying to get me up. I was just about to when I saw it till dark out “why it’s way too early to get up” whining and trying to back to sleep.
“Trust me it will be worth it” as he hands me a pair of jean capris and one of his shirts. I dress and followed him out the door, down the elevator out to the garage onto his black and sliver Harley. He handed me a black helmet with a sparrow flying over a heart and his was black with a skull and crossbones on it. We drove towards god knows where, when we stopped at a red light I yawned and asked “where are we going?”
“Just hang on and trust me” he said. We arrived at the harbor and I saw the only thing that could make this very early morning worth while, a tall mast ship. There were a least ten people on it readying it for sail, we walk up to the plank and walked on board “Hello Johnny” a young man said as we boarded.
“Hello Capt. Sousa” Johnny said back to him as he lead me down below where I saw my dress from last night waiting for me and the full Capt. Sparrow outfit minus the wig and beard waiting for Johnny. “What… how?”
“Shh love and get dressed we have to beat the sun.” Surprisingly it only took us about ten minutes and we were ready, we walked up onto the deck where the Captain and the crew were there waiting, and then lead Johnny and I to the wheel, where Johnny took over and whispered to me “watch the horizon.” I did and saw the most amazing sunrise ever I look around, but the LA skyline was gone and there was only ocean ahead of us. I turn to see Johnny in his element; I was seeing the true Captain Jack Sparrow. I hugged him so hard and gave him a bruising kiss, I was sure the ship would crash into some rocks. “How… what… why” I was speechless.
He grinned and said “This is the ship we used for the Interceptor and I saw that they were in town the same week as the premiere so I was going to bring the kids on board and have some fun, then I met you and the whole Vanessa thing, then we missed dinner and dancing this was going to be the end of the evening last night, so I decided that just because Vanessa spoiled dinner and our date I wasn’t going to miss the sunrise with you, so the phone call last night was to Capt. Sousa here to have everything ready for us before sunrise.” he smiled and I laughed. I had to give the man props. “Ok Captain Sparrow just one question”
“Yes love.”
“How did you get your outfit past Penny, she is crazy about this stuff, especially yours.”
“I asked and when she said no I borrowed it without permission.”
As I leaned against him I heard music playing it was soft rock song and Johnny handed the wheel to one of the crew and asked “Milady would you care to dance.”
“I would, my Captain.” I said blushing. We walked down to the main deck and he took me in his arms and we waltzed. All I saw were his eyes. I didn’t know the crew was taking pictures and I didn’t care. The rest of the day was spent around the pool and having fun. Orli, Keira, Johnny, I and the kids had dinner that night. I didn’t want the night to end because tomorrow I had to go home. After dinner and after saying goodnight to the kids and sharing one last drink with Keira and Orlando, Johnny and I went to bed, as we dressed for bed I wanted to let him take me so that I would remember his touch forever.
“Johnny, please make love to me right here right now, so that at least I’ll remember your touch forever.”
As I moved my hands to his pants and try to pull them down, but he stops me and has me look into his eyes as he says “Lizzie I know that you see tomorrow as the worst day of your life, but cheer up everything will be fine. I would love to take you here and now, but then we would regret it in the morning. You are my pirate lass and angel, and should be worshipped. ”
He worshiped my body that night I came at least three times. I woke up the next morning, and even with the sun blazing outside I was sad, the best week of my life was over and it was time to face reality; back to school, work and no Johnny. Johnny and I shared one last shower together and had breakfast with the kids and the cast. After breakfast I started to pack to head home. Lilly and Jack begged me not to leave, but they knew I had to. I promised that I would call all the time and I would see them soon. As the kids left the room Johnny stopped them and told them that everything would be ok. Their tears stopped because they knew that their dad would make everything right. I had just finished packing my first suitcase, it was full of gifts and goodbye things from the pirate cast, Orli, Keira, Lilly and Jack. A garment bag lay open on the bed it held the brown gown, and the blue dress I was working on the second one when I heard the door close. I was crying so hard I could barely see what I was doing. I was sure that were tear stains on my clothes. Johnny wrapped his arms form behind me and said “why the tears Lizzie.”
“Because I just openly lied to your kids, I don’t have the money to call you or to come see you in France or here in LA and you don’t have the time to come see me in Issaquah, with all the new scripts to look over. We will never see each other again. I don’t want to go back to Target making just enough money to live, and go back to school, where my friends will get to hear all about you and me, and my parents they will tell me to suck it up, grow up and stop living in my fantasy.”
“Maybe you don’t have to go.” He said.
“Johnny, I would love to stay with you, but I have a job to get back to and school” as he takes my hands in one of his and use the other to wipe the tears away. He leads me to bed; he pulls onto his lap and starts kissing me. “No, don’t start something that we will both regret.” He looks into my eyes as he hands me a stack of papers “Turn to page three and read it aloud.”
I turn to page three and read “Cast list for POTC: Dead Mans Chest:

What am I doing as Keira’s understudy?”
“Gore saw something in you and begged me to find a way to make you stay. You and I are two peas in a pod love and I love you too much to let you go. You have given me my heart back and made me smile. We have had good times and you made my kids laugh. We will go back to your house and pack all you stuff, putting most of it in storage while the new house is been built, give your two weeks at Target, and lastly let your parents know where you will be the next year.”
I wanted to shout to the heavens. Johnny was good man, he wasn’t going to forget me, he had found a way to let me stay with him and have a way better job.
