Over the next three weeks he worked in the studio and she planned. She was handling all the arrangement for London. Her friends had no idea that the suggestions they were making to Chad were being booked by her. Jordan couldn’t believe how well it was going. The shows and their relationship. They were together and they were in love. His only regret was he couldn’t tell the world. They hadn’t quite worked out how she was going to tell her friends and that made him more nervous. If they weren’t ok with this he didn’t know what would happen. He could tell she was beyond nervous as they prepared to land.
She gripped the arm rests when the plane shook as the landing gear fell. Jordan looked over at her as she took a deep breath.
"Are you ok sweetie?" he said as he laid his hand on hers
"Um yeah I guess so" she said as she let out the breath she had been holding when the plane touched down. Jordan let one out as well and shot her a comforting smile.
"Well we are here finally" he said as he grinned excitedly
"Yeah, I know" she said distractedly as she unbuckled.
He stopped her from getting out of her chair with a gentle hand on her arm. "You think your friends are going to be ok with us?" he asked making a motion in between them.
She frowned down at him "God I hope so, or you will just have to go"
He gave an uneasy laugh at her tone. He was hoping she was joking but somehow he thought she wasn't.
They filed off the plane with the rest of the weary passengers not saying much and paused when they entered the terminal.
“You were just kidding about that” Jordan said absently as if they were still having their previous conversation.
“Kidding about what?” she asked with her brows knitted
“Your friends not being ok with us and me having to go” he said with an absent laugh
“No I wasn’t kidding” she said patting his cheek
“Oh” he said worriedly as he looked around.
Chad handed over the bag he had been carrying for her and looked at her with a concerned expression "Why don't you just go into London with us?" he said impatiently "We have no way of contacting you"
She laughed "Why Chad are you worried about me?" she said in the biggest southern accent she could manage while batting her lashes.
"No, I am not but he will be and he needs to focus" he said jerking his head in Jordan's direction.
"Listen I have given you everyone's cell number so if you need me for anything you can call me, ok" she said patting his arm.
"and how is that going to look?" Jordan said confused.
"I told them I had some friends in town this week and that they might be calling me to meet up with them so you are covered" she said with a ok gesture.
"Now you boys stay here for about thirty minutes, then come out ok. I don't want to raise any suspicions" she said in a motherly tone.
"Yes mam" Jordan said kissing her on the cheek.
"See you boys later" she said waving at them as she walked off.
She made her way through customs and went out to passenger pick up where a crowd had already gathered looking for Jordan and Chad. She heard someone holler her name and turned to see Sue and Kels walking over. They couldn't help squealing which made everyone turn around to look at them curiously.
"Is he here?" Kels said excitedly
"Yeah I think I saw them in line at customs" Kristy said with a sly grin.
"What is that about?" Sue looked at her curiously.
"What" Kristy said with a shrug trying to play off the look she hadn't meant for them to see.
"Don't give me that" Sue said "I saw that grin and you know something we don't, don't you?" she said with raised eyebrows.
"I know he looked hot" Kristy said with a laugh
They asked her about her flight as they scanned the incomming crowd. A few moments later Jordan and Chad appeared and the volume of noise the crowd was emitting increased. She stood back with Sue and Kels as everyone surrounded them to get autographs and pictures. When Chad and Jordan walked over to them she could see Sue tense "Oh god" she heard her say in a low tone.
"Hey girl you made it over" Chad said to Kristy as he walked over causally. Kristy had to supress a laugh as he pretended to greet her for the first time.
"Long time no see" Jordan said with a wink and she caught Kels eyeing them curiously. They got autographs and pictures and said bye as Kristy reluctantly hugged Jordan again.
"See you ladies at Hard Rock" Jordan said as he walked backwards to the exit.
They stood watching them walk away.
"So we picking up V while we are here?" Kristy said breaking the silence their exit caused.
"She doesn't come in until later so me and you are going back to get the girls and Sue's going to wait on V" Kels said with a nod at Sue.
"Ok well lets go then" Kristy said excitedly.
"Yeah and when me and V get back to the house you can explain what going on between you and Jordan" Sue said sternly
"I have no idea what you are talking about" Kristy said sheepishly.
Sue checked her watch "V should be here in about 45 minutes so I should be right behind you" Sue said ignoring Kristy's response.
Kristy and Kels made there way through the airport to the train and piled in with other travelers.
"Ok so tell me" Kels said intrugued when they settled down
"tell you what exactly?" Kristy said laughing
"You know you can't hide anything from us" Kels said staring her down "I could tell something was going on just with that wink he sent you"
"Nothing is going on, I just saw them last week at the show thats all" Kristy said with a shrug. She really wanted to tell her the complete truth but she didn't know if Jordan would appreciate it or not so she resisted the temptation. The last thing he needed was to fuck this up.
They caught up with each other as they made their way to Sue's house. After fulfilling their duties they finally got to Sue's house. Exhausted Kristy showered and collasped on the couch, soon she had drifted off to sleep as they watched a kiddie video with the girls. An hour later Sue arriving with Liz and Vanessa jolted her awake. After their excited greetings they settled down into there usual conversations about life and the many dramas on the board.
Kels cell phone rang and she looked at it curiously. "I don't know this number" she said looking around
"Oh that may be my friends that are in town" Kristy said
"You answer it then" Kels said tossing her the phone
"Hello?" Kristy said curiously
"Oh hey I wasn't expecting you to answer" Chad said flustered
"Thats ok, what are you doing?" Kristy said to keep up the cherade.
"Nothing" Chad said with a yawn "We just woke up from a nap and wanted to know if you were doing anything tonight?"
"I don't know I haven't asked" she said looking around at all the inquiring faces "can I ask and call you back once I know" she said with a smile
"Yeah we were thinking a club or something where we could accidently run into you guys if you know what I mean" Chad said
"Ok I will let you know what we decide" Kristy said as she hung up the phone.
"They want to go to a club in London tonight, if you girls are interested" Kristy said to everyone
"sure sounds fun but I don't know how easy it will be getting back on a train drunk as piss" Sue laughed
"I am sure we will manage" Kels said "I haven't been clubbing in ages it will be fun"
"Which one should I tell them to meet us at then?" Kristy said excitedly. They were just going to die when they saw Jordan there. Kristy just hoped they could keep up the cherade until she could tell them properly what was going on.
"How about The Club" Liz said
"oh yeah that would be great" Kels said brightly
"Ok I will tell them to meet us there at what time then?" Kristy asked
"Well we will have to get ready and eat something, so how about 10ish" sue said looking at her watch.
"Ok" Kristy said as she redialed the number
"Yes" Jordan answered
To hear him answer the phone shocked Kristy so much that she faltered in her speach
"Uh....Oh....hey, we decided to go to The Club around 10ish, how is that?" she said recovering quickly
"Ok great" Jordan said brightly "we will see you there and don't worry I will find you" he said and she could hear the grin in his voice.
"Ok sure, can't wait" Kristy said nervously
"Kristy" Jordan said quickly before she could hang up "I love you" he blurted out and she could hear Chad laughing in the background.
"Yeah me too" she said with a grin "it will be good to see you too" She finshed as she hung up having to supress her laughter.
"Ok its all set then" Kristy said to everyone excitedly
"Let get ready then" Vanessa said as she rose
They spent the next three hours chatting and critiqueing each others outfits, hair and make up as they got ready. They hastily ate supper at a local restaurant that was on the way to the station. Kristy really couldn't eat much because she was so nervous. They all had a drink before they left just to get them ready and then finished the walk to the station. They were all silent as they made their way into London. Kristy's insides were twisting into knots as she thought about what was going to happen. This was a bad idea, and she didn't like it. There were too many ways this could fuck shit up but she didn't know how to stop it now and she could never tell him no. He was her weakness and he knew it. What was she going to say or do when Chad and Jordan walked up to them.
"You in there" Kels said waving a hand in front of her face.
"Oh yeah, just jet lag" Kristy shrugged
"You need a drink" she said with a hand on her shoulder as the train stopped.
They piled out and made the short walk to the club. They could hear the music thumping from the outside as they walked up to get into line. They chatted excitedly as they waited their turn for admittance.
