Chapter Thirty-Two ~ Kiss You

“Hey we should go in here? I’ve always wanted to go into a house of mirrors.” I said, looking at Kurai, who hadn’t said much since we left the guys to their own devices.
“Okay, let’s do it.” Kurai said, as she followed me into the funhouse. The first mirror made me look like I was 300 lbs. I laughed as I bulged my tummy. Kurai laughed as well.
“I guess I had one to many of those Big Macs.” I said, as I walked into the next mirror. This one made me look like a pole.
“Whoa…” I said as I let out a laugh. I looked at Kurai.
“Hey Kurai, what’s wrong? You should be happy.”
“I am…I guess.” I turned to her.

“What happened? You were so happy to see Gackt, and now you’re down in the dumps.”
“I just had a rude awakening, that’s all.”
“What do you mean ‘rude awakening’? Did Gackt turn out to be gay or something?”
“No, he’s married, unhappily though.” I frowned, we had reached the inner chamber of the house. We were surrounded by mirrors.
“Did he try something with you?”
“Well yeah, but…it was what I did that surprised me.”
“Huh?”
“He kissed me, but I wanted to throw up. Something about it was just…wrong.”
“What do you mean wrong? You should’ve been on that shit like white on rice. I mean…”
“I think something’s wrong with me.” Kurai said, leaning against a mirror.
“Huh? What do you mean? You think you’re gay?” I said, pacing the middle of the room.
“Yeah,”
“What makes you think that?” I said stopping and looking at her, shifting my weight from one foot to the other.
“Well, remember that first night that you stayed at my house and you were having phone sex with Michael?”
“Yeah…” I said, starting to get a bad feeling at where this conversation was going.
“Well, that night, I had a dream…and it was about the two of us…”
“No! God Kurai! Why couldn’t you tell me this sooner? You’re probably hurt…”
“I’m not actually. I want you to be happy. You’re as straight as an arrow…”
“Actually, a crooked arrow is more like it.” I muttered.
“Huh?”
“I dabbled a little bit with bisexuality. I do it a lot when I’m drunk…” I said walked to the other side of the room and leaning against the wall.
“Oh.” I let out a nervous laugh. It seemed to break through some of the tension that built up in the room. Just then Kurai walked away from the wall and walked toward me. The tension in the room came back, and was amplified a 100 fold.
“Do…do you mind?” Kurai said as she drew her body dangerously close to mine. Her hand came up to cup my face. I wanted to step back, but couldn’t because my back was against the wall.
“Mind what?” I asked, trying to swallow the lump that had formed in my throat.
“If I kiss you…” I braced myself as Kurai’s lips met mine. Something happened that I had not expected.
I actually liked it.
Kurai pulled away, as her eyes met mine. I ran my tongue over my lips then bit it trying to anticipate her next move. She moved in again, and her lips met mine with more intensity and passion than the first time. Her tongue ran over my bottom lip begging for entrance. Which I granted her. My head was swimming, as we continued to kiss. Her hands made their way underneath my coat and came to grasp my breasts. Her kisses moved to my neck hungrily.
“No…Kurai, shit.” I said, pushing her away. She looked at me confused. I was breathless as well as she was.
“I can’t do this.”
“Why? I just need to know…if I’m…”
“I know. But you’ll have to experiment with someone else. I can’t do this.”
“But I want you!” Kurai said, as I was turning to walk away. I stopped in my tracks.
“I can’t trust myself with anyone else Crystal.” She added.
“What about me? What about Michael? Kurai, we’re engaged.”
“You guys aren’t married yet. You could…”
“No! Kurai, you’ll find someone else. Just trust me.” I said as I turned and walked out of the house of mirrors. I felt awful for breaking Kurai’s heart, but I knew what she felt for me wasn’t too deep. I reapplied my lipstick when Kurai walked out of the house of mirrors.
“Crystal wait…” I rolled my eyes and looked at her. “I’m sorry, I am, please…” She paused a moment as her eyes met mine. “…I still want to be friends.”
“Can you still be my friend after what we did?”
“Yes.” She had fresh tears in her eyes as she said that.
“Are you sure?” I said, handing her a tissue out of my purse.
“Yes, I was really hoping you would be my first.”
“Kurai, I enjoyed what we did, but I can’t be unfaithful to the man I love.”
“I wouldn’t technically call it cheating…”
“Kurai!”
“Okay,” Kurai said, defeated.
“It is. In my eyes it is.” I said, my eyes meeting hers. “You see this ring?”
“Yeah.”
“It represents a contract that I made to Michael out of love. A part of that contract is to be faithful.”
“I get it. Okay? I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay, I’m sorry I led you on.”
“Apology accepted.” Kurai said, as a smile lit her face.
“Good, let’s find where those guys went to.” I said, as we set on the task of trying to find where Michael and Gackt went to. Michael was still standing by the Ferris Wheel. I approached him.
“Goodness! I thought you guys got lost, I had security looking for you guys.” Michael said, his face wrought with worry.
“Sorry, we went to the house of mirrors to make fun of ourselves.” I said, a smile appearing on my face. Michael smiled back.
“Cool, so are you ready to go to that art auction?” Michael asked, his lips grazing my cheek. I nodded.
“Yeah baby…what about Kurai?”
“She’s a big girl, she can handle herself I think?” Michael said, looking at Kurai.
“Oh yeah, I’ll probably go check out the exhibits or something.”
“Okay, if you’re sure…”
“Yeah, go have a nice time.” Kurai said, looking at me. I nodded as Michael led me away. We went into the dinner theatre. Michael paid a hefty chunk of money for the both of us to get in. But once we were inside we were not disappointed. They seated us at a table. It was very much like the five star restaurant that Michael had taken us to in Ireland.
“I have an odd sense of déjà vu.” I said looking at Michael. He let out a small laugh.
“Once you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all.” Michael whispered. We ordered our full five course meal and gave the menus back to the waiter.
“So, I figure I should come right out here and say this before I start to feel guilty about it.”
“What do you mean?” Michael frowned.
“Well, when Kurai and I went into the house of mirrors, she told me that she had kissed Gackt…”
“You realize that he’s married right?”
“Yeah she told me that he was, he told her that he’s unhappily married. Anyways, she said she felt that kissing him was wrong and didn’t feel natural to her.”
“So…she thinks she’s lesbian then?”
“Yes, but you see, when she caught us having phone sex, she started to fantasize about me and her…”
“Oh dear.”
“Yeah, and things got a little heated in the house of mirrors.”
“You two…”
“We only kissed. She was trying to take it further but I stopped her. I feel awful for letting her down like that.”
“She’ll find someone baby,”
“She told me that she wanted me to be her first…”
“Experience?” I nodded. Michael’s eyes met mine.
“Don’t worry Michael, I love you and only you. You’re the only one I want.”
“I always wanted to know…” Then Michael cheeks flushed as leaned over and began to whisper. “How two girls could…you know…” My eyes widened then my cheeks flushed.
“You’re not suggesting that I…”
“You could…just to humor me.”
“Michael Joseph! I can’t believe the words that I’m hearing. I will not take advantage of Kurai like that…” I whispered back harshly. Michael’s hand came up to cup my face.
“I won’t be mad at you, I promise. I’ve actually never seen it happen before. I’ve seen plenty of girls make-out but…”

“Pretty much.”
“Michael do you realize what you’re asking? I’ve never done anything with another woman. Are you sure this will be the only time you’ll want me to do this? And are you sure you won’t be mad?”
“As long as I get to watch and I get have you at the end of the night, I won’t be mad. This will be the only time I will ask you to do this.” Michael said, as his hand came to grasp mine on the table. I bit my lip.
“When did you want me to do it?”
“Tonight preferably. I leave late tomorrow.”
“So I don’t even get like a day or two to think about it. Thanks a lot.” I said leaning back in my seat.
“Well, you have two hours to sit there and think.”
“I guess I’m going to have to do it, it’s what you want right? I still can’t believe what you’re even asking me…”
“Yes, I’m sure.”
“And you won’t get jealous?”
“I’ll try not to.” Michael promised his eyes meeting mine again. I exhaled heavily.
“Okay, fine.” I said, as the waiter brought us our first course.
The art auction went well, Michael bought me three blue and black wall paintings for a total of 150,000 euros and he bought a rare Picasso for 4.3 million euros. While Michael was conferring with the auction holder he turned to me.
“Why don’t you let Kurai know that we’re just about ready to go. Okay babe?”
“Okay,” I said, as I turned around to see Kurai standing just feet behind us.
“How’d you get in here?”
“The auctions over, anyone can come in now.”
“Oh, I didn’t know that. Well are you ready to go?” I asked looking at her. I was too afraid to tell her what Michael and I agreed upon.
“Hey Michael, Kurai and I are going to be out in the limo…”
“Okay, I’ll let James know to pull up.” Michael said, digging his cell phone out. Kurai grasped my hand and led me outside.
“Wait, wait, wait! Kurai I need to tell you something.” I said, as we walked outside of the theatre.
“Okay, talk.” Kurai said, there was a hint of venom in her tone.
“Look I talked to Michael about what happened. We came up with an agreement. I can be your first, as long as he gets to watch.” I said, my eyes meeting hers.
“Are you serious? But that ruins it.”
“Why?”
“Because he’ll be wanking it and stuff…” Kurai said, shaking her head.
“Why can’t he hide behind your changing shield? He can still watch, but we won’t see him?” I suggested as the limo pulled up.
“Yeah…ooh…” She said as her lips met mine in a soft kiss. Then she got in the limo. I got in as well. As soon as I sat down, she began to maul me with light kisses on my face. I gently peeled her away from me.
“Kurai, calm down. I don’t know if I can do this sober or not.”
“You kissed me sober…”

“You nervous?” Kurai said, her expression turning serious as her brown eyes met mine.
“Very. I don’t know what to do. It’s like I’m a virgin all over again, you know?”
“Well I’m nervous too.” Her hand came to grasp mine. “But I can’t imagine my first time with anyone else.” I smiled.
“Are you still sure you want to do this though? I mean you’re not going to chase after me because you love me or anything like that, are you?”
“No Crystal. I just want to experiment. If that is okay with you.”
“Okay.” I nodded. She leaned forward, and placed a soft kiss upon my lips. My mind kept telling me ‘This is wrong! Pull away now and tell her you can’t do it.’ I, of course, ignored my conscious and took the kiss further by slipping my tongue into her mouth. She moaned, her hands sliding around my back to pull me in closer to her. The door opened to the limo and Kurai pulled away from me. A red tint coming to her cheeks. My eyes met Michael’s briefly, before Michael put his sunglasses on.
“Hey Kurai,” Michael said, graciously nodded his head as he sat next to me. I tried to swallow the lump that was forming in my throat. This was going to be a the most uncomfortable ride of my life.
