Life Goes On(Pt36)
Evelyn shut the lid on the picnic basket and latched it closed. "I think that is everything." She told Olivia. "I'll leave a note for Phil to let him know where we are."
"I'll dragged Sav to the car if I have too. I hope this works?"
"It will. Joe and I will be in the car….I think."
"Ok." Olivia headed upstairs while Evelyn carried the basket, grabbed the blanket and went out to find Joe. He was sitting on the back porch steps.
"Hey hon…ready to go?"
"Go where?" He grumbled.
"On a picnic."
"In the dark."
"Would you rather go during the day?"
"That would be a barbeque."
"Funny. It's been a while since we did a midnight picnic. I though we could use one."
"Not tonight babe. I'm really not in the mood."
"I'm not taking no for an answer." Evelyn linked her arm around his and pulled him to the car. Once Joe saw that Olivia was in the front seat and Sav was in the back, he started protesting.
"Stop acting like a spoiled child and get in Joe." Evelyn scolded him, holding the back door open.
"I'm not a spoiled child." Joe shot back.
"Get in." Evelyn said firmly.
Joe flopped in the seat mumbling under his breath. He avoided looking at Sav, who sat within inches of him in the small car. Evelyn and Olivia chatted away in the front seat.
"Where are we going?" Sav finally asked.
"On a picnic."
"I know that, but where?"
"Down the road a bit, so get comfortable." Olivia glanced in the rearview mirror at him.
"That won't be easy with the company I'm in." Joe mumbled.
"I didn't want to come any more than you did." Sav said looking out the window.
"I didn't say any names."
"You didn't have to. I know what you meant by company. I can't believe your pulling this jealousy shit with Olivia and I. When I never…not once acted this way when you started dating Evelyn."
"That's probably because you took off and didn't want me to know that you were jealous."
"I was never jealous!" Sav said raising his voice. "I was happy for you. I told you I wanted to find someone to spend their lifetime with. I found that someone in Olivia and I love her. So why can't you be happy for me, that I finally have what every one else has?"
Joe remained silent, staring out the window. Sav took his silence for his answer.
"Great. Thanks for your support Joe. You can't have all of me, all the time now, so I guess..."
Joe turned his hard gaze to him, "I don't have all of you because I have to share with Nick, now Olivia."
Sav rolled his eyes in annoyance, "This has nothing to do with Nick and everything about you not being able to accept that I found someone else to share my life with."
Joe mumbled something as he turned his eyes back to the dark scenery.
Sav leaned closer to him. "What…what was that, I didn't hear it?"
"I said if she weren't here, everything would be fine."
"That's what I thought you said." Sav turned his gazed forward. "Olivia could you stop the car? I want to get out."
"Sav there is nowhere to pull…."
"Stop the goddamn car!" Sav yelled.
"Fine." Olivia hit the brakes, slowing the car down to pull over out of the road as much as possible.
Sav grabbed Joe's hand, dropping something there, when his hand closed, he could feel the shape of the ring. He clenched his fist around it and closed his eyes as Sav got out of the car, slamming the door. He went around to the drivers side to open the door for Olivia and found it locked.
"Come on Olivia we're leaving."
She glanced up at him then over to Evelyn, who in turn looked back at Joe. Sav slammed his fist on top of the car.
"Open the fucking door!"
"Joe, you better move your ass right now, get out and talk to him." Evelyn sternly told him. "He's going to leave and you may never seen him again. Is that what you want?"
Joe swung the door open and stepped out. "Rick get in the car."
"Why?"
"Please, just get in." Joe said softly.
Sav regarded him a moment then looked back down at Olivia through the glass. "Are you coming or not?" she shook her head. "Fine." He started walking away.
Joe moved quickly, catching up to him and grabbed his arm. Sav jerked away.
"Sav, please don't go."
"Why not? You made it abundantly clear that you don't want me here."
"No I didn't. I…I never said that."
"Then what do you want Joe?"
"I want you to put this back on." Joe said taking his hand and sliding the ring on his finger. "Yes, I am jealous of Olivia and…and I'll try harder not to be. Please you can't leave, you just came back to me and…and I don't want to go through that again." he reached up and caressed his face.
"You have to understand that this is what I want. Not for you or Nick to judge whom I chose and hate her before you get to know the person she is."
"I know…" Joe pulled him into his arms. "I know….I'm sorry. I'll get to know her better…start over. Just make time for me ok."
"I will. Olivia knows about our relationship and how important you are to me." Sav finally pulled away and held he gaze. "I didn't want to bring her here and just turn my attention to you. I wanted you to accept her in my life, but you didn't make it easy for her…or me."
"Ok…ok I get the point. I was an ass toward Olivia."
"You were. Talk to her Joe, get to know her. Hell ask to taste her blood. Olivia will do it, no question asked, no regrets. Then you will see her intentions, it was not to come between us like you think she has. This could have all been avoided if…."
In one swift motion Joe was locked on his throat, plunging his fangs deep to take what has been just out of reach for weeks. The blood rushed over his tongue and lit a fire deep inside him.
Sav was caught off guard by his sudden movement and stumbled backwards a bit before he regained his balance. Joe held on tight, never breaking contact with his mouth. Sav waited mere seconds before he returned the blood kiss. In that first drop, Sav could taste Joe's desire and knew what the night would bring for both of them. He would make sure Joe knew that everything was going to be alright between them. That his love and desire never diminished for him and never would.
**
Evelyn glanced in he doorside mirror and saw them locked together in a deep passionate kiss. Her inside stirred like it always did when she would catch them doing that. "They'll be here in a minute." Evelyn said as they pulled away and started toward the car. Olivia twisted in the seat just as they climbed back in.
"Everything alright?" she asked looking at Sav.
"It will be." Joe answered. "You can take us where ever it was we were going."
Olivia put the car in gear and resumed down the road for a while until she turned to a side road. She stopped at the gate that barred their way. A flashlight clicked on by the guardhouse and a man stepped from the shadows. Olivia rolled down her window.
"Hi James, sorry we're late. Thanks for waiting."
"You know I could get in trouble for this Olivia."
"Who's going to know?"
"Hopefully no one. I wouldn't do it for anyone else. Have fun, just be sure to be out of here before 7a.m. This is an extra key to lock the gate when you leave. I need that back ok."
"Sure, not a problem. Thank you again." Olivia took the key from him.
"I'll lock up behind you. Bye.
"Bye James. Thanks again."
He went and unlocked the gate so that Olivia could pull the car through.
Joe didn't hide the sarcastic tone in his voice when he easily picked up the vibes coming from Olivia and James, "Who was that?"
"My brother. He's been a Park Ranger here for 10 years."
Joe turned to look at Sav to see the smirk on his face from being caught thinking that Olivia and James had something going on, "Oh."
"Yeah he's great." Olivia smiled as she looked at him over her shoulder.
Olivia drove them through the park another twenty minutes when she pulled up fairly close to the water on the dirt road the rangers used and thurned the car off. Under the bright full moon everyone looked around the lake. The water in the lake gently lapped at the bank and the roar of the waterfall that was backlit by soft white lights further down. The surrounding forest was of dark shadows, hiding all the night animals that lived in the area.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Olivia said taking out the blanket and basket.
"Yes." Evelyn replied. "From what I can see."
"James and I come here whenever I came for a visit. Talking, catching up with each other. It has a peaceful serenity about it that we love. Away from the fast pace of the city. Out here time almost stands still, you can let your mind wonder to what is around you or think more clearer about the problems in your life." With those last words, she looked at Joe and Sav.
"It's so quiet I may fall asleep." Evelyn said and took off her shirt and pants. Olivia followed her lead and they both lay down on the blanket.
"Going to try and get a moon tan?" Joe asked with a chuckle.
Olivia giggled. "I've never thought of it that way Joe."
Joe smiled back at her and went to the water's edge. Sav joined him a few minutes later.
"Want to go for a swim?" Joe asked him.
"Sure."
They stripped their clothes off and tossed them toward the girls.
Olivia turned to see them standing there completely naked. "What are they doing?" she shyly glanced at Evelyn after seeing Joe's nude form.
"Um…going swimming."
Olivia looked back after she heard the load splash and then their heads pop up before they moved into the darkness of the water.
"Olivia I haven't said anything out of respect for Joe, but I have to now. I love Joe very much and hate to see him hurt. Did Sav tell you how he found Joe when he came back after three years?"
"No."
"Joe was deeply depressed. He would sink into a trance like state. He wouldn't feed, sleep or move for days."
"Why would he do that?"
"Sav wasn't there, he missed him that much. As time went on, they became worse and longer. The last one almost killed him."
"But he's a vampire, how could he have died?"
"Starvation. Joe probably weighted around a hundred pounds the night Sav came home. They spent weeks locked in our bedroom. Sav threatened anyone that would come near the door."
"Threatened…I don't understand?"
"Sav threatened to kill us."
"What….I don't believe that, he would never hurt anyone."
"No he wouldn't. Let me explain this so you will understand." Evelyn thought for a minute before she continued. "Joe and Sav have been together since 1977, but for the past oh…30 years they have taken a friendship higher to that of lovers."
"I know about that. Sav told me about it already. I may not know Joe as well as you do, but I do sense something has been bothering him lately."
"I'll be blunt and tell you. Its you."
"Me! But I've never done anything to him."
"Sav brought you home." Evelyn gently told her.
"But why would Joe hate me because of that?"
"Olivia you are the first woman Sav has brought home in all the time they have been together. Joe has basically had Sav to himself all these years and he feels threatened by you." "He doesn't need to be. I would never…oh." Olivia covered her face with her hands. "I've come between them haven't I?"
"They would both die without each other. That's how strong their love is. Your relationship with Sav is young and I understand the need to stay close to each other in the beginning. But sometimes you have to know where to draw the line and give him time to be with Joe."
"I haven't done that either. I really do love him Evelyn and I want to be with him forever. I guess I'll just have to get use to sharing him with Joe."
"The sooner the better. And tonight, you've taken a big step in that direction by letting Sav be with him."
"You mean they are…"
"We won't see them for awhile."
Olivia flopped over on her stomach and buried her face in the blanket. "They are out there now making love in the water? Oh my….I..I…oh."
Evelyn giggled beside her. "Wait until you see them together. They will be going at it all hot and heavy."
"You've seen them?" Olivia squeaked.
Evelyn nodded. "It doesn't take much to get turned on either."
"You didn't?" Olivia's mouth gaped open. "You sleep with both of them?"
"They can be very pervasive in that area with that sexy voice and fangs."
"I know what you mean." Olivia giggled.
***
"What do you suppose they are talking about?" Joe asked as he circled around Sav in the water.
"Us and how turned on Evelyn gets when she see us together."
"You were listening to them?"
"Yes." Sav told him. His feet skimmed the bottom. He reached out and pulled Joe close to him. "Lets give them something to watch or not watch, since they can't see us very good."
Joe swam backwards, his strong arms pulling them through the water while his body kept them afloat with a little help of his flying ability. Sav lay on top of him and held on to his shoulder, while his other hand skimmed over Joe's back to grab his ass. Sav's mouth slanted the other way, dove his tongue in to dance with Joe's. The motion of Joe moving through the water, made their bodies slide together. Joe's strokes faltered when Sav moved away to stick his hand between them and circle his fingers around Joe's growing manhood.
"This is hard enough without you doing that."
"Almost there. I wanted to get a head start to get you going."
"Oh I don't need you to do that to get me going. I'm already there."
Sav couldn't answer as they went under the waterfall. Sav crawled over the rocks out of the water, kissing a trail down Joe's chest to latch onto the nipple, sucking and licking it.
"I love it….ow." Joe yelped.
Sav whipped his head up to looked at him. "What?"
"The bloody rocks are sharp. I think it cut my bum."
"Turn around let me see."
"You want me to stick my ass in the air so you can shove that cock in and fuck me til I scream."
Sav chuckled. "That too. Now turned around."
"I'm standing up, don't want to cut my knees." Joe stood up and turned around.
"Its just a little cut." Sav told him and ran his hands up his legs and leaned forward to lick the blood that trickled from the cut.
"mmm….little cut eh."
"Little." Sav licked the cut again before it healed. He stood up and turned Joe around, running his finger over his lips. Joe stuck his tongue out to twirl around it. Sav closed the distance, kissing him softly and quickly turned to one of hunger. Sav carefully maneuvered them to a large boulder. He dropped to his knees, gripped Joe's hard cock at the base and took him in his mouth. Joe leaned back to watch him, every time Sav engulfed him, he felt the back of his throat. Sav was stroking himself in time with his mouth.
"Oh yeah baby suck it." Joe said between clinched teeth. He let his head fall back, getting lost in the sensation of his mouth. "Wh…why…why did you stop?" meeting Sav's eyes as he stood up.
"Turn around and put that ass in the air." Sav growled and spun Joe around, pushing him down over the boulder. He kicked his feet apart and guided his shaft inside, driving to the hilt. "Tight ass…fuck you feel good Joe." Sav hissed as he pulled out and slowly went back in. Joe rocked his body back to meet him. He quickly became frustrated at Sav's slow pace.
"Enough with the sissy strokes Rick…I want you to fuck me." Joe growled.
Sav grabbed his hips and started ramming faster and harder. "You mean like this?"
"Yes!" Joe shouted
"Like that do you?"
"yeah….aahh.. damn…"
Sav ran his hand roughly up his back, then down and around to take Joe's throbbing hardness in his hand, sliding over the smooth skin. Their loud moans of pleasure a stark contrast to the noise of the waterfall. The mist of the water swirled around them, their bodies glistened in the lights.
**
"What are you doing?" she sat down beside the other woman, who had her chin propped on her hand. A smile playing on her lips. She pointed down to the two men basking in some intense sex.
"Rebecca sha…shame on…oh…oh my." Brenda stuttered when she looked down to see Joe and Sav. She tore her eyes away and looked somewhere else. "I…I've never watched them together."
"I do it all the time." Rebecca told her.
"Y…you do?" Brenda couldn't help but to look back at them when they both shouted with pleasure. "Oh..it looks kind of intense."
"It is. I don't know which one I like better. The times there are very rough or the times they can be soft, gentle, passionate with each other."
Brenda cleared her throat. "Um…well I wou…wouldn't know."
"I miss being with them." Rebecca said wistfully. "Oh…" she sat up straighter. "…here comes my favorite part. Wa…watch Joe's face. I was never able to get that look of shear pleasure when he came."
"Did it bother you that you couldn't?" Brenda asked her eyes glued on them now.
"No."
**
Sav rammed deep, grabbing Joe's shoulder, pulling him up to his chest. Shifting his position behind him, his lips traced along his neck.
"Close." Joe breathed out.
"Yes." Sav mumbled and sank his fangs in his neck. Grinding his hips into Joe as he pushed back on him. Sav jerked out the last of his orgasm with a deep growl. He removed his fangs and pulled out. He quickly spun Joe around, pushing him back against the boulder.
"Your turn." He said around his fangs and dived for Joe's groin, sucking the head while his hand pumped him fast. Joe squirmed beneath him, burrowing his fingers in Sav's hair until the need for his release grew to fever pitch. He tugged on Sav to pull him up and buried his fangs in his shoulder. A deep groan rumbled in is chest and he spilled over Sav's hand that was still stroking his cock.
"Wow, I see what you mean." Brenda whispered. She shook herself as Joe and Sav began to kiss. "We have to go Reb." She tugged on her and they disappear into the mist of the waterfall.
Down below, Sav was gently stroking Joe's face, his body covered him, kissing him lightly on his lips to help calm their bodies. "Ok." Sav asked leaning up to look down at him.
Joe opened his eyes. The brilliant blue and gold that stared down at him stirred the desire in him again. "Yes." His lips cracked a smile.
Sav kissed him again, loving the feel of his lips, he sucked in the bottom and held it between his teeth before letting go. "Joe."
"mmm."
"Don't doubt me again, that I don' t love you. We have been together to long for any doubts and jealousy to rare its ugly head."
Joe reached up and tangled his fingers in his hair. "I was stupid to even have doubts and feel jealous." He pulled him closer, kissing him hard. Sav pulled away and laid his head on Joe's shoulder.
"Joe."
"What."
Sav looked down at him again. "Prom…promise me that you will get to know Olivia while I'm gone with Phil and take care of her for me."
"I promise." Joe replied a few seconds later. He tightened his arms around Sav's waist then released him. "This is killing my back."
"Oh sorry." Sav quickly moved and pulled Joe up. "We should be getting back. The sun will be up soon."
Joe groaned and looked around the small indention that the waterfall had craved out over time. "Maybe we could stay here, spend the day together."
Sav glanced around too. "Not enough protection from the sun. Besides, the girls would get worried."
"Then we'll do it at home. You're leaving tomorrow night and I want to spend as much time with you as I can. To make up for what we missed."
"I'd like that." Sav smiled. "Lets go home." He pulled Joe back through the waterfall and they both dived into the water.
"They've been gone a long time." Olivia said. "Won't the sun be up soon?"
"Don't worry, they'll be here. Let's get this stuff packed up. But leave the towels out so they can dry off."
By the time Joe and Sav emerged from the water, everything was in the car and they were sitting on the ground waiting. Joe came over and took the towel from Evelyn and kissed her.
"Have a good time over there?" Evelyn asked, seeing the satisfied and much more relaxed look on Joe's face.
He smiled brightly at her. "Yes."
Evelyn giggled and elbowed Olivia.
"We better go." Sav told them, slipping his legs in his jeans.
"You're not going to finish dressing?" Olivia asked.
"Na…it'll just be coming off again when we get home." Sav looked over at Joe with a knowing smile.
"Ok." Olivia caught the look between them. As much as she wanted to be with Sav, she had to let Joe have this time with him. To crush any fears that he may have, that she had come between them. She took Sav's hand and walked the short distance to the car. Kissing him before she got in the front seat and he in the back with Joe. Olivia drove them back to the house with even higher reassurance that everything was going to be all right between the two men that sat behind her.
