‘Mommy, someone’s passed out on me’ said Sid as he walked over to Jade at just gone midnight with a sleeping Jamie in his arms.

Now before I continue in rattling off a list of bad things it does to the heart I’m going to go and get sleep tucked in’ said Stephen, letting Jade and Jim kiss the sleeping bundle in his arms goodnight and taking her back off into the house while Jade located her grandfather.

‘C’mon gramps, I’ve been sent to take you for a smoke’ said Jade as she held out her hands to Julius and helped him out of his seat. He’d been at the rum for most of the night and was a tad shaky on his feet.

‘Al, I know she’s your mom and all, but YES! THANK THE LORD FOR THAT!’ exclaimed Jade as everyone laughed.

‘Lightweight more like gal!’ Julius snorted as he laughed.
