Chapter 4
Skylar paced around her living room several times, antsy about the upcoming events. In about 2 hours, someone would be here to take her to the airport. Her mind raced as she thought about where she would be and what she would be doing the next few days.
"You're going to burn a hole into the carpet" Sarah said, entering the room.
Skylar looked up startled. "I didn't even know you were awake" she said laughing.
"You finish packing yet?" Sarah asked raising an eyebrow at her, "You don't have much time"
"I got the suitcase open" Skylar said, "Does that count?"
"Skylar Elise Matthews" Sarah said, raising her voice "I'm going to say this loudly but I mean it in the most loving and supportive way, GET YOUR ASS INTO THAT ROOM AND PACK THAT FUCKING SUITCASE....NOW!!!!!"
SKylar scowled and said "I hate you" as she headed for her bedroom.
"No you don't" Sarah said, calling after her "You love me"

"John is so lucky I love him" Patrice thought as she knocked on the apartment door.
The door opened to reveal a petite brunette. "This is John's girl?" she thought to herself shaking her head.
"Hi, I'm Patrice, John's publicist" Patrice said holding out her hand, remember what John had told her before she left *be nice*
"I'm Skylar" Skylar said smiling, shaking Patrics's hand.
"Skylar?" Patrice questioned
"Yeah" she answered, "My parents picked it out of a unique names book"
Patrice nodded and thought to herself "White people..."
After the plane touched down, Skylar felt dizzy and out of sorts. Her stomach was inn her throat and she was worried about how the next few days were going to go. There was alot she had on her mind. What was going to happen these next three days? It had been a long time since she had spent this much time with John.
"You ready?" Patrice asked her startling her thoughts
"For what?" Skylar asked, puzzled.
"You'll See" Patrice said, laughing "Apparently you've never been to The Gorge before"
"Nn" SKylar answered quietly "I haven't"
They climbed into the helicopter and headed for the camp. Skylar's eyes widened as they neared the stage. She saw thousands among thousands of people camped out in front of the stage. Behind the set was a gorgeous view of the Washington sky.
"wow" she said amazed "This is beautiful!"
"Yeah" Patrice answered smiling "It'll take your breathe away"
