Die got tired of listening to the ‘suggestive’ noises coming from his brother’s room. He really did not want to picture the only person he had connected with, with his brother. Die walked to his bed where Kaoru had placed his pants earlier, he changed into them. Die wanted a chance to talk to Kaoru without having unwanted interruptions from unwanted persons. He hoped that Kaoru wasn’t having too much fun and that he was sleeping by now.

The path appeared before him, Kaoru was already there and waiting. Die looked over his form and saw that no marks that showed if Shinya had him, the collar was absent also. Kaoru looked up and saw Die walking towards him, he stood up from his sitting position and started to walk towards the other youth. When they met they looked to their left and saw that a new path had been carved into the woods. Die looked to Kaoru, who looked back. They silently decided to walk the path presented to them. The new path looked like the old one except it had an end. At the end of the path there was a circle of flower petals. One half was of red roses, where Die was to sit, and the other half was of Moonwildflowers, where Kaoru was to sit. Die walked to his designated side and sat on top of the red petals, Kaoru followed suit a couple of seconds later. They sat facing each other; Die spoke first, confronting the uncomfortable situation.

“It sounded like you, Shinya, and Toshiya were having lots of fun earlier.” he accused quietly. He glanced up at Kaoru who just stared quietly.

“I-I didn’t, I mean he wouldn’t let me do anything. He wanted me to watch.” Kaoru looked away but when his gaze returned to the redhead in front o him there was a hurt look in his eyes, and a slight hint of tears brimming at the edges. “I-I don’t want to be with Shinya, I want to be with you Die.” Die head those words and his heart nearly jumped out of his chest with joy. He wanted so bad to move into Kaorus part of the circle and hold him. He wanted to tell Kaoru that he loved him. But it wasn’t time, not yet.

“Well,” he sighed, “for now all we can do is be together here. In real life you will have to stay away from me and be with Shinya.” It hurt him to tell Kaoru that he would have to be with someone that he didn’t have feelings for, while the one that he did love was literally in the next room. But it was what had to be done if they were to be together later.

“Okay,” Kaoru agreed, “but I will not have sex with him. I won’t.” They both heard a voice that didn’t belong to either of them. It was the sign that it was morning and time to get up. They stood up simultaneously and took a step closer to one another. They shared a light kiss before everything faded away.

Die was woken up by a very bubbly Toshiya, who decided to run into his room and pounce on the redhead. Toshiya miscalculated the bouncy-ness of Die’s bed and ended up on the floor. Seeing Toshiya go flying sent Die into fits of laughter, even more so when the blue haired youth crawled back on his bed with a hurt look on his face.

“Get up!” Toshiya said. With a push he succumbed Die to the same fate he had just moments earlier. Die landed on the floor with a thump. Still giggling the red head got up and proceeded to get changed, not caring that his brother’s companion was watching him with hungry eyes. He finished getting dressed and looked at Toshiya teasingly from between strands of his red locks. He walked over to his bed and held his hand out to the pretty boy, like a gentleman to a lady.

“So my dearest Toshiya, what would you rather have for breakfast,” he pulled the youth off his bed and into his arms, “me, or whatever my mother cooks up?” Toshiya loved to be wrapped in his arms, so he held him tighter.

“D-Die, you know I am with…Shinya now.” He stuttered.

“I know, but never forget that you were mine first, and you loved it.” Die breathed into Toshiyas ear, making the man tremble.

“I’m sorry.” Toshiya whispered. He left the comforting warmth of Die’s arms and the two walked down to the kitchen together. Die’s parents, Shinya, and Kaoru were already seated and eating.

“What took you so long?” Shinya asked, raising an eyebrow at Toshiya’s flushed expression.

“Toshiya forgot that my bed is basically a trampoline.” Die snickered.

“It’s too bouncy!” The blue head defended. They sat down at the table and ate a silent breakfast. Die glanced up every once in a while to try and steal looks at Kaoru, but every time he looked Shinya was sending daggers at him with his eyes. And he was damn good at doing that. After breakfast Shinya walked Kaoru home.

“It was nice meeting you Kaoru. I hope you will visit again.” Die said smoothly.

“It was nice meeting you too Die.” They stared at each other a moment too long, making Shinya angry.

“Bai.” Kaoru whispered.

“Bai.” Die said before shutting the door.
