Chapter 4

--------- At the hospital -----------

Kyo was in the waiting room pacing when the others ran in.

“Kyo! What happened to Shinya?” Kaoru asked worriedly.

“I’m not sure but he was running a high fever and there was a lot of…blood… behind him… on the bed.”

“Blood?!? How could our little Shin-chan get so hurt?” the blue haired man asked. “I mean, he was fine just yesterday.”

“Behind him? Higher or lower on the bed?” Die questioned the blond man.

“Uhhhhhh… lower… I think, I didn’t really look I was a little busy trying to decide what to do. But then again it was kinda spread out… What does this have to do with my angel?”

“Well I have a theory, but it looks like that doctor is coming so we may be able to find out just what happened.”

They turned to look in the direction Die was looking, and sure enough the doctor Kyo had seen taking Shinya was coming ever closer. The short man moved to where he was in front of the others so the doctor would see him. “Which one of you Kyo-san? I need to tell you about your friend… Terachi-san.” He said not even once looking up from his clipboard.

“That would be me, but you can’t tell just me. We’re all worried about Shinya.”

“All right. Follow me then,” he turned and walked off without making sure they were behind him. “Were you and your friend… active?”

“Active?… What the fuck does our gym schedule have to do with anything?”

“Ummm… Kyo… I think the nice… doctor means the other type of active. You know the type having to do with your… uh… lower head,” the red haired man clarified for his friend.

“Oh. No as far as I know Shinya hasn’t been with a man. Why?… Oh, Kami, please no… tell I’m thinking wrong.”

“It seems your friend was raped then. From the extent of the damage by several partners and without any preparation.”

“Partners? Those stupid fucking bastards weren’t his partners. A partner helps you and doesn’t do this kind of thing. You will not refer to them as his partners they were his rapists, saying partner suggests that he wanted this.”

“Well when a young man goes around in the clothes he was wearing he has to want to attract some kind of attention. The other men probably just got wrong idea. You should tell your friend to stop sending out such mixed signals.” The whole band was quickly getting fed up with this man. Kaoru turned and walked away.

“What the fuck is your problem? He just felt like dressing up, you really shouldn’t be judging your patients. And Shinya more so because of what happened to him.” Kyo was almost screaming at the doctor now.

“Well, honestly I just tell the truth your friend was asking fo-” the doctor was cut off as he found his head snapped back and a very pissed off blue haired man glaring at him over Kyo’s head his hand still clenched in a fist ready to hit the doctor again if he said one more thing about Shinya.

The nurse assigned to Shinya choose that moment to walk out of his room. She looked around, “You know, doctor, you really should stop walking into walls.” She turned to the three shocked men, “Hello, my name is Tamae. No one ever really likes him; he’s an ass. The only reason he’s still here is he’s the director’s nephew. But after what just happened, I don’t think even that will save his job.”

Kaoru came walking back with the head doctor, older kindly looking man. “Please forgive us. I will handle you friend’s care from now on. I will personally make sure ‘his’ behavior does not go unpunished.”

The red head came back to himself, still a little shocked from Toshiya’s actions. “Thank you, we really appreciate it. Please do whatever you can to help our little brother.”

“Of course it would be my pleasure. Please wait right here while I go and check on him. I’ll report back to you as soon as I know anything.” The older man went in to look Shinya over. When he came back his expression was grim, “Well, as you already know your friend was raped. The damage is quite brutal and extensive. It seems to have been done by multiple persons, I have done a rape kit but I am unsure of successful it will be; from the looks of it he was attacked quite some time ago. His fever just broke, so we don’t have to worry about that anymore. Physically, in a few months he will be fine. His mental sate however is what I’m concerned about; a vicious act like this one leaves a mark. I won’t be releasing him for a couple of nights, but when I do I don’t want him going home alone. Can one of you either move in with him, or move him in with you? Other then that you may go in and see him now. He isn’t awake at the moment, nor do I expect him to be for quite some time. I gave him some medicine to help him sleep, it’s the best thing for him right now.”

“He can move in with me or we can stay at his house whichever he prefers,” Kyo said trying to look like he wasn’t about to cry.

When they entered the room the first thing everyone noticed was how pale and fragile their drummer looked. He way lying on crisp white sheets while an impossible number of wires and tubes connected him to machines that beeped or buzzed or just looked incredibly complicated. Kyo dragged the only chair in the room over to the still man’s side and prepared for the wait ahead. He would wait for his beauty to open his eyes. “I won’t leave you, now or ever. I’ll be right here when you wake. Just please come back to me. I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you sooner about how I felt. Maybe this would never have happened. Please get better… I… I need you… I love you.” The others watched them a bit before sneaking out of the room to give them the privacy they deserved.

As they left the hospital Kaoru asked one of nurses at the front desk to put their name on the call list for when he woke. They all want to pick Miyu up from the vets and the to Kaoru’s house to wait for the call. The three men thinking the same thing ‘I hope Shinya will get better, and Kyo to have the strength the help him.’

Well that didn’t nearly as much time as I thought it would. Once I started typing my fingers just kinda thought for me.
My god that first doctor was an asshole. I read that part to my friend and she said I should have some hit him over Kyo’s head. So I did. I think it worked quite nicely. Thank you Nin-sama!!!

And once again thank you all for reading and reviewing it really does inspire me to write more. All my reviews get their own box of pocky. Please keep reviewing and adding to my creative fire. I really like writing this story although I always seem to be listening to the happiest music while writing the saddest parts I’m not sure why… but I’m rambling so I’m going to shut up now and let you get back to your lives and I’ll try to get the next chapter up ASAP.
