As The World Falls Down

Author's notes: Once again I've thank all who reviewed! And I'm very sorry it's been a while…From here on out it starts to get crazy and very dirty…ok so on with the story…

Jareth: "What? Your not going to thank me?"

Me: " GOD YOUR SO BITCHY!"

Jareth: "Am Not!"

Me: " Whatever…"

Jareth: " I'm not bitchy…"

Me: "WOULD YOU SHUT UP!? I though Muses were spouse to help people!"

Jareth: "…I help you…"

Me: "That's it…your fired!"

Jareth: "You can't fire me! I'm your muse!"

Me: "Not anymore! I'm finding a new one!"

Jareth: "Fine! But don't come crawling back to me when you miss me!"

Me: "Whatever…."

'The Oubliette'

Everything seemed to be spinning, Vi reached to her forehead ad blinked a few times. Bam laughed and rolled his eyes,
"Humans and their blood loss, Fairies can lose up to a 10th of their blood before feeling woozy." He shook his head.
"Would you shut up already! I'm tried of you talking about how your better humans." Bam stuck out his tongue and they conuited on their way though the still stone walls. Time seemed to eat it's self here and there was no way to tell if a minute had passed or an hour. They met yet another dead end and turned around again, this time going left and meeting with yet another fork in the path. Vi turned to Bam and asked,
"Where now?" Bam pointed to the right this time and the stone walls turned into brushes, like a hedge maze. They came to another dead end, Vi gritted her teeth and closed her fists.
"I HATE THIS PLACE!" Bam rubbed his chin and looked around.
"I must have taken a wrong turn…" Vi turned as well and threw her arms up.
"What a horrible place this is! It's not fair!"
"What's not fair?" A strange yet joyful voice asked, quickly Bam and Vi turned around to be met with the sight of two almost dog looking creatures. They were each holding a blue and red shield in front of their body and they another head under them as well. Vi didn't want to try to think about what they must have looked like under those shields. They both stepped closer.
"This was just a dead end a minute ago," Vi said in wonder and confusion. The creatures laughed.
"That's the dead end behind you!" The red one cackled. Bam made a small sound,
"Oh yeah this is the right way, yo dudes!" He walked up to them and gave them high fives. Vi frowned,
"Ok, so where do we go now?" She asked in a huff, she was tried of this and just wanted to go home. Than she thought about the King's deal and shivered.
"Well the only way out of here is to chose one of these doors." The blue one said, Vi walked even closer.
"So how to I open them?" She went to move the red one from his spot but Bam stopped her.
"Wait! One of these doors leads to the castle at the center of the Labyrinth and the other leads to-" The bottom red one adds, "Bumbum bum bum," and both finish with; "Death! Oooohhhh!" The blue one also adds,
"And one of us aways tells the truth and one of us always lies!" Vi frowned again and stood back thinking before walking over t the blue one,
"So if I asked you if he would say this door lead to death and that one lead to the castle?" They both stuck their heads under the shield and whispered.
"Yes," was his answer, Vi smiled nodding.
"Than this one leads to the castle and that one leads to death." Bam raised an eyebrow,
"How do you know that?" The red one looked upset.
"But what if he's lying?"
"But than you wouldn't be," They both frowned and looked at each other before looking back to Vi.
"How do you figure that?"
"Because if you’re not the one who told me about the death and castle, you were the one to say one of you always lies and the other always tells the truth. You only told me that if I asked him that he'd say yes so I know the answer is no."
"But I could be telling the truth!" The red one deafens.
"But I know the answer would still be no,"
"Is that right?" He asked the blue one,
"I don't know, I've never understood it!" Vi nodded,
"No, I figured it out." Bam yawned and pushed the blue one away from the door.
"Yeah yeah, I'll give you medal later now get in there!" Vi smiled and walked though the door, the sound she stepped on the ground it gave from under her and she was falling down a hole. It was dark but the faint light from the top, she screamed as she fell but than she stopped feeling things grab her limb roughly. She screamed for help,
"Help! Bam! Help!" The shadows around her moved and the grip tightened slightly,
"What do you mean help? WE are helping!" They dropped her than and she screamed again closing her eyes ready to feel the hard ground if their was one at all.

Vi opened her eyes when her body landed softly on a bed. It was all dark but the soft silk under her made her shiver. She heard a noise, her heart raced.
"Hello? Who's there?" Suddenly there was light.
