A/N: So I'm going to have fun with the next few chapters, and you'll see why as things are unveiled. Also I've realized that my plot bunnies are pulling me towards a new story, so I might be putting this one on hold if the bunnies keep up, but that will mean a new story for my lovelies (in a new fandom too ... maybe even a new original one if the bunnies agree). So keep a look out and I'll keep working on things as the bunnies demand. So here's the new chapter. Enjoy! *hugs*

Rebecca walked into the kitchen of her house, biting her bottom lip lightly. She knew that her mom was going to have another heyday with her staying out all night again, so she knew that it would just be better to get the tirade over with rather than put it off until her mom got angry enough to come up to her room. So by the clattering, she could tell that her mom was in the kitchen cooking something, more than likely to work off any frustrations that she had. It was something that she had done for years, and all of the kids knew that if she was cooking without having any particular occasion she was more than likely upset about something, and casserole meant big trouble.
“I see you’re home finally.”
“Sorry, Mom. After the shoot finished I went over to check on Spencer and must have fallen asleep watching the movie.”
“You have a tendency of doing that lately. That should tell you something.”
“Mom, I’m sorry. I’m not purposely staying out all night. But at least I’m not driving around half-asleep and getting into any accidents.”
“I know, Rebecca, I’m just worried about you. That’s what moms do, you know.”
“Yeah, I know.”
“So how is Spencer doing? I think Peter said something about you had to take him to the hospital, right?”
“Yeah. He’s doing better now, he finally kept food down last night, so that’s definitely a plus.”
“Hey, Becca, what are you getting mail from a lawyer for?”
Rebecca turned as her brother walked into the kitchen, holding out the day’s mail. She frowned at the mention of getting something from a lawyer. She didn’t know what her brother was talking about, so she merely took the letter and opened it, frowning even more as she saw what it was about.
“Apparently I have been served with court papers, for inflicting bodily harm and emotional distress? What the hell?!”
“Rebecca, language.”
“Sorry, Mom.”
She read farther down the letter and the frown just kept deepening as she read the bogus charges against her. Although when she read the name of the person pressing the charges against her, she slammed the letter down on the table, unable to keep a few choice words from slipping even with her mom glaring warningly at her.
“That spoiled little two-timing pompous bitch!”
“Rebecca Anne!”
Rebecca was a little lucky that she had two middle names as she could tell that her mom was only slightly annoyed with her for the language again, but she knew that her mom was probably more worried about the charges than the fact that she had just let out a spill of curses.
“Who is it, Becca?”
“Amber Martley. Ryan’s ex. The one who hit Cat while I was visiting the boys the last time because she was driving around drunk.”
“Why is she pressing charges then? Shouldn’t it be Cat who’s pressing charges?”
“Well, I sorta jumped on her and proceeded to beat her senseless when she started pulling on Cat and such. I kinda blacked after I lost my temper. Spence had to pull me away from the cop that I was throwing curses at for holding me back.”
“Rebecca, you were struggling with a police officer?”
“Sorry, Mom, but like I said, I sorta blacked out after seeing the bimbo run over Cat then get out and proceed to start hurling curses and such at Cat. Why did the bimbo wait so long to press charges? It was at least a month ago when I was in Vegas.”
“Becca, phone call.”
Rebecca turned and took the phone from her brother, a confused look on her face. Her friends called her cell, not the landline as she was more than likely to be either out somewhere or her mom was using the phone.
“Hello?”
“Becca, it’s me, what’s wrong with your cell? I tried calling it, but just got the voicemail. So I got Ryan to give me the number. Have you been online today?”
“No, why? What trash am I going to find online, Spence?”
“Just make sure you’re not near anything harmful and make sure you’re sitting down when you check.”
“Spence, you’re not helping matters by trying to be secretive. Now, what am I going to find online? I already had a bad surprise by having court papers delivered to me from the Wicked Bitch of the West. What am I going to find online?”
“You had papers served? For what?”
“Bodily harm and emotional distress. But you’re avoiding the question, what’s online?”
Rebecca started up the stairs to her room, a scowl growing on her face. When she signed onto her computer, she was instantly bombarded by im’s, mostly from friends and the other boys, even some from the other girlfriends.
“Spence, why do I have fifteen offline messages all mentioning something online? What is there online that everyone is not wanting me to see?”
She could hear Spencer’s sigh through the phone and knew that he was probably cursing her stubbornness as he sat there. She then saw a new message pop up from Spencer with a link. She clicked on the link and then dropped the phone at what she saw.
