"How you doing champ?" Ashley smiled, hitting Kelly's shoulder playfully as she sat down next to her.
"I'm done," she said, waving her hand in front of her neck.
"Yea, I think you wore out the cowgirl too," Ashley laughed, motioning to Carrie who was sitting on the side of her, her arms folded up on the bar, her head resting on them.
Kelly smiled, reaching over past Ashley and ruffling the country girl's hair. She looked up at her tiredly.
"Hey my girl, you ready to go?"
Carrie nodded, sitting up.
"What about you?" Kelly asked Ashley as she stood.
"Nah, I'm good. I've gotta make sure that Jason and Ann get home in one piece anyway."
"You want the limo?"
"Are you kidding? I'm buzzed not wasted. Jason would kill me if I let the two of you go home by yourselves in a cab while y'all are clearly not of sober mind."
Kelly laughed, "True."
Carrie stood up with a frown, "My feet are already cursing me."
"Trust me, your head will be cursing you even more in the morning," Ashley grinned.
"I'm never doing shots with you guys again."
"Come on," Kelly smiled, linking their arms together.

"Kell," Carrie sighed, placing her hand on the Texan's knee as they sat in the back of the limo on the way home.
"You're not gonna be sick are you?" Kelly asked, making a face.
"I'm not that drunk," Carrie rolled her eyes.
"Good. Cause if you were, you are way too much of a light weight."
Carrie laughed, "No, not that much."
Kelly smiled, scooting closer to the warm body next to her. Carrie put an arm around her, taking a deep breath.
"I told you how hot you looked tonight, right?" Carrie asked.
"Um, I think you said beautiful, but yea."
"No," Carrie shook her head. "I meant hot."
Kelly giggled.
"Come see," Carrie said, pulling the shorter girl onto her lap so that they were facing each other.
Kelly smiled broadly.
"Thank you."
"For being hot?"
"Yes," Carrie laughed. "And for everything. I've had more fun tonight than I've had in a long time."
"We need to get you drunk more often then."
"If it means we get to dance more, then definitely."
Kelly grinned mischievously.
"God, you are so..."
"So what?" Kelly asked.
"I don't know," Carrie shook her head. "You're just like this little ball of...ugh, I don't know."
Kelly laughed, wrapping her arms around the other singer's neck, pulling her into a hug. Carrie wrapped her arms around the Texan's waist and held her there, lightly running her nails back and forth over her back until they felt the limo finally come to a stop.
"We're here Miss Clarkson," the driver announced over the speakers.
Kelly pulled back, her eyes sparking as she looked at Carrie, "You're staying here, right?"
Carrie smiled as she watched her hands travel to the shorter girl's waist, "Yea."
