Comfortable

Skylar unpacked her things and got settled in her cabin. The view she had was incredible and she couldn't believe where she was. She decided to go look for John to thank him for the job so she grabbed her camera and some film and went searching. She found him sitting on an amp looking donw at his guitar, singing quietly to himself.

"Perfect Shot" she said to herself snapping the photo.

The snap and flash of the camera startled John, causing him to look up at Skylar.

"Sky" he said smiling "You scared the shit out of me"

"Sorry" she answered "It was just such a perfect shot, I was afraid if I said something that I would ruin it"

"Its fine" said Joh standing up to hug her "Thats why you're here"

Skylar half-smiled and bit her lip.

"So" John said turning to put his guitar back in its case "Want a tour?"

Skylar beamed and nodded her head "Why not?"

John led her to a golf cart at the end of the hallway and said "Hop in"

"What's that for" Skylar asked wrinkling her nose

"That's how were getting to where we need to be" John answered smiling

Skylar sat down next to John "Don't go fast okay?" she said after noticing there were no seat belts.

John looked at Skylar and laughed "its a golf cart Sky" he said still laughing "It doesnt go over like 25 mph"

John drove off towards the fields behind the sound stage. "Ever driven a helicopter?" he asked Skylar looking ahead.

"No" Skylar said laughing "Have you?"

"Yeah, I did this morning, now its your turn" John said smiling widely

"Yeah Right" Skylar said sarcastically "You're kidding, right, I mean I am not actually gonna be driving one of those things"

"Sure you are" John said laughing, "C'mon its gonna be fun"

Skylar looked up at the helicopter, terrified. "I dont know about this John, is this safe?"

"You'll be fine" he said putting the helmet on her

Skylar listened carefuly as the pilot explain what it is that she would be doing once up in the air. ALl of the technical terms the pilot was suing was making her head spin and she was getting very nervous. After a few practice runs on land, Skylar, Joh and the pilot all climbed into the helicopter.

"You ready? " the pilot asked Skylar

"No" Skylar said laughing nervously "But lets do it anyways, Im as ready as Im gonna be"

The pilot directed Skylar on what to do to get the helicopter off the ground. After a few minutes the butterflies went away and Skylar began to relax.

"Look at me" she said laughing "John I'm really flying this thing"

John smiled at her and leaned forward to kiss her cheek "Your welcome" he answered looking in her eyes.

The pilot took them on a tour around The Gorge. The scenery was incredible, so breathtaking Skylar couldnt help but snap photo after photo.

"Careful there Tiger" he said to Skylar "Don't use all that film up before we even get to day one of the show"

Skylar smiled putting the camera down "I just can't help it" she said looking out at the view "Its just so gorgeous, I've never seen anything more beautiful"

"Me Neither" John thought to himself

After the helicopter touched down, John and Skylar headed back for the sound stage.

"I need to stop by Erika's room for a second to ask her a few questions about the show, wanna join me?" John asked turning to look at Skylar

"Sure" she answered "Who is Erika?"

"The singer I am touring with" John said reaching for the door "You'll like her, I swear"

John opened the door to find Erika stratteling someone on the couch. He coughed and said "Sky, this Erika, Erika this is Sky"

Erika jumped at his voice and smiled "Hey" she said reaching out her hand.

When the man from the couch stood up, Skylar's heart almost stopped.

"JASON?" she said shocked.

"Sky..Wha...I...I cant explain" Jason said stumbling over his words.

Tears welled up in Skylar's eyes and she ran out fo the room, Jason running after her.

"You're banging the photographer?" John said shaking his head. "What about Nick?"

Erika shurgged and said "He is so boring, Its not like I knew that he was her ...whatever...what was he?"

"Her fiancee" John said looking after her "I gotta go talk to her"

Erika bit her lip as John ran after Skylar. "I can't believe I was the other woman" she said to herslef angrily.
