The red car pulled up to a run down looking building with dim florescent lights. Britney clinged to Gerard’s arm being a bit frightened as to where he had taken her. He held her tight and laughed.

“Don’t be afraid, it’s safe. I promise you’ll like it.” He held on to her hand and lead her towards the door.

The rusty door slightly opened when Britney hid her face into Gerard’s arm. Her eyes remained closed and her head buried into his sleeve as Gerard moved forward. He stroked her hair lightly and told Britney to lift her head up. She shook her head in refusal as Gerard opened and stepped through the door in front of him.

Britney raised her head slowly once she heard loud chattering around her. She was stunned to find that they were in a bar. The place looked like a vintage bar with rustic wood pool tables with the balls scratched and faded from years of play, small four seat booths with the same rustic frames as the pool tables with new upholstery where customers enjoyed their drinks and snacks. The place was actually quite cozy and warm, with the matching wood floors as the booths and tables, and dusky walls covered with posters and signed pictures of celebrities, great and unknown. Britney smiled in awe as she looked around the homey bar and her eyes gleamed of excitement once they connected with a relevantly large stage dedicated to karaoke.

“ How’d you know I liked karaoke?”

“Don’t you remember telling me when I found you backstage at the concert.”

“Oh Yeah,” Britney laughed at remembering the event. “I love it here! Thanks for bringing me.” She quickly swung her arms around Gerard’s neck and brought him into a deep kiss.

Once her mind caught up with her actions, she jumped back slowly as her face flashed red.

“Sorry.”

“Don’t be, I enjoyed it.”

“But we just ,met!”

“So?“ Gerard smiled and took hold of Brit’s hand and lead her towards the stage.

“Why don’t you grace us with a song Britney?” She flashed a timid smile.

“But I don’t know what to sing?”

“Don’t worry, something will come to you.” Britney smiled when she felt Gerard’s arm around her shoulders.

“Ok” She pondered at the thought of singing but was afraid to.

Britney trembled at the fact of knowing that Gerard Way of MCR was watching her on stage, she inhaled and picked a song. She slowly walked up to the microphone and waited for the music to start.

“And if they get me and the sun, goes down into the ground. And if they get me take this spike to my heart and…” The first few lines of the song she was hesitant but quickly forgot who was in the audience and sang her heart out.

After a few songs it was becoming late in the evening. Gerard drove Brit home and walked her to her door. They were drenched on account of the heavy rain that came down on them on the drive. They both laughed at the unexpected rain hitting them.

“Today was fun.” Gerard said with a smile. “I hope we can do this again.”

“Me too, I enjoyed every minute of the day.”

“Even when you saw Cyn and Billie arguing?” She laughed.

“Even that! It was entertaining.”

Gerard laughed a bit brought Britney in a for a loving hug.

“You sang beautifully. I didn’t know-how well you could sing.” She blushed.

“Thank you and thanks for a great day Gerard.” He took hold of her hand and gave her a light kiss.

“I’ll be seeing you then.” Britney grinned.

“See you. Bye”

“Bye.” He walked off towards his car as Britney faced her door as she looked for her keys.

She found them buried in her pocket and placed it in the key hole. Before she opened the door she heard her name being called out. She turned to face in the direction of the voice and saw Gerard running towards her.

Before he reached Britney, he tried to slow down his pace but slipped on the wet cement and fell back. Britney quickly went to his side in concern to see if he was alright.

“Are you ok?”

“My ass hurt’s but I’m fine.” Britney laughed when Gerard sat up.

“Why were you calling me? Why did you *hiccup* run? It’s wet.” Gerard snickered a bit at the hiccup and got to his feet.

“I wanted to tell you something and give you a more proper goodbye.” Gerard placed his hand on Britney’s cheek and she turned a bright florescent red.

“I had a great time with you Brit, we only just met but I feel as if I’ve known you for months.” He began to stroke her hair lightly away from her face and paused for a moment. “ I have never believed in love at first site. But now that I met you…I know first hand that it does exits. One just has to be patient. I mean you even got me to forget about Cyn.” He brought her close to him and held her lovingly.

“I’m really falling for you Britney.” Gerard pulled Brit’s lips to meet his.

Britney felt herself turn red and gave into the passionate kiss. They were both lost in the moment, not even realizing that it was still raining. Once they pulled away from Gerard held Britney tightly and cherished their time together.

“ I think I’m falling in love with you.”

“I-I think I love you too Gerard.” She shyly stuttered but meant every word she said.

They smiled at each other and Gerard gave Britney a light kiss before saying their goodbyes.

“I’ll see you later Brit.”

“See you later.” They headed into their separate directions as their hands left each others.

Britney entered her house and slowly closed the door behind her. She rested her back on the door and smiled to herself.

“Today was a good day.” She fumbled around in her purse looking for her phone. Once found she dialed and crashed on the couch.

“Bueno?”

“Cyn?”

“yeah?”

“You’re up! And not drunk?”

“I didn’t drink that much but I still hitched a ride home.”

“Where’s Billie?”

“You mean the jack ass?…he’s right here…”

“HAHAHAHAHA!”

“DON’ LAUGH!”

“Fine, tell me what happened later. Anyways I just wanna say that I love you like a vampire loves BLOOD!”

“BLOOD?!?”

“Yeah, oh my god I have to tell you what happened today. I’ll tell you everything!”

“What happened?”

“Let me just say, it was the best day of my life!.”

I'm soooo sorry it took me forever to get the last chapter up. The story was done on paper, but I just never got around typing it. Now that I have a laptop I was able to type it up and post it on here. It took 2 years to do it but it's yup! Please review and let me know what you guys think! I'm sorry again!
