I knew somehow I needed to tell him how I felt. Johnny hounded me about it every time I saw him. He told me that Orlando had confided in him that he tried to tell me how he felt on the beach. Johnny, of course, said we are two funny people who need to have each of our asses kicked in gear. I valued Johnny’s opinion on the subject. I was also nice to know that Orli was being watched over when I wasn’t there.
I woke up from a deep sleep in Orlando’s bed. He had to work late on the movie. He called several times to check on me. I planned on stay up for him, but sleep overtook my body. I looked over to my computer that sat on the corner desk. I walked over to the desk and started the computer up. My instant messenger came up with all my friends. I noticed that it showed “WillBaby” was online. Maybe he was on a break from shooting or maybe he just left his computer on.
MISTRESSKAT: Are you there, Will?
WILLBABY: Yes love … on a break. Did you get some rest?
MISTRESSKAT: Yes sort of … can’t sleep without you here.
WILLBABY: I feel the same. I will be home soon.
MISTRESSKAT: Will?
WILLBABY: Yes baby.
MISTRESSKAT: I am sorry about the bonfire. I did not mean to get upset.
WILLBABY: I understand. People can be real mean to each other.
WILLBABY: Why were you really upset?
MISTRESSKAT: afraid
WILLBABY: Afraid of what? Me?
MISTRESSKAT: sort of … afraid of what I feel about you and me
WILLBABY: How do you feel about me?
MISTRESSKAT: You are my best friend. I cherish everything about you!
WILLBABY: Is that all Kat? I was hoping there was more.
MISTRESSKAT: Like what Will?
WILLBABY: That maybe you need me … want me … love me!
MISTRESSKAT: If I did what would you say?
WILLBABY: That maybe I need you … want you … love you!
MISTRESSKAT: This is not the way I wanted to tell you how I felt about you.
WILLBABY: Then come out into the living room and tell me in person.
I put down my laptop. I ran out to the living room to find him standing there. The computer was on the couch. He smiled and held out his arms. I jumped into his arms and kissed him. I felt his heart and soul in that kiss. That was the day that cyberlove turned REAL!
