As Kyo headed home he was engulfed in his own thoughts. What was it about this girl that made him attracted to her. 'Even with my ex it took me a while, than she shattered my heart by sleeping with Kisaki.' At that thought Kyo started to get mad. His phone started to ring and it was from an unknown number. He didn't answer it. He wasn't in the mood. Kyo reached his house and went inside. Kyo put his keys on the mantel, phone on the charger and headed to bed.
Hours went by and Kyo tossed and turned in his sleep. He kept having nightmares of Sayuri. It would start off with them happy together, than all of a sudden something would go wrong. He woke up immediately, sweat pouring down him. " what is with the dreams!" He exclaimed to himself. He got out of his bed and went to the kitchen to get some water. He looked at the clock on the stove. It read 7am. It didn't feel like 7am, but when he opened the blinds to his house he could see the bright blue sky.
He shut the blinds again and headed back to his room. He looked at his phone and saw he had another text message from Sayuri. 'Hey you. I'm off work and heading home.' It read. Reading that text should have gave him some comfort, but honestly it scared him even more. He knew something had to be wrong. He grabbed the keys to his motorcycle and sped off. As he was racing to get there his mind was racing with thoughts. He didn't get to drive his motorcycle often since he was always picked up by the bands van. It was usually relaxing for him when he rode it, but today was different.
He pulled up to the brown house and jumped off the motorcycle not even caring about the keys. He knocked on her door to see if she would answer.....nothing. He forced his way in to her house. No site of her in the kitchen or living room. He headed towards the back of the house where her bedroom was. There she was lying on the ground with a bloody gash coming from her head. Kyo started freaking out.
Kyo went to go grab her until her heard a noise.. He peeked around the corner and saw someone in black clothing coming in the back door. Kyo was very quiet. He had nothing on him to defend him. Than out of the corner of his eye he saw a bat. He grabbed it and swung at the mystery man knocking him unconscious to the floor. He quickly grabbed his phone and called 911.
"9-1-1 what's your emergency?" The dispatcher answered. "I need an ambulance right now. My girlfriend was attacked by some stranger and is lying on the ground bleeding from her head. I have the jackass here too." Kyo responded to her. "Ok sir, what is the address of the residence?" She asked. " 2806 cherry blossom ave." Kyo told her. "Ok sir, the ambulance and police are on their way." The dispatcher stated and hung up.
Not even five minutes later the emergency help showed up and rushed in with a stretcher for Sayuri. They saw the other person and called in for another ambulance to transport him to the hospital as well. One of the officers came up to talk to Kyo to ask Kyo what happened, but that wasn't what was on his mind at the moment. Only Sayuri was. "Officer i will tell you all i know later, i need to be with her." The officer didn't argue. As they put the unconscious woman in the back of the ambulance he got in as well and sat next to her. He watched as they poked her with a needle to get fluids started into her to keep her hydrated.
The ride wasn't long. The arrived to the hospital and quickly rushed her inside. Kyo watched as they hooked her up to machines and took her blood. The officer from the house approached him again. "Sir, i know this must be difficult right now, but i need to get your statement." The officer requested. "Sir, theres not much i can say cause i didn't see what happened. All i know is that when i got to the house she was laying on the floor bleeding and that guy came into the house so i grabbed the bat and knocked him out." Kyo told the officer. The officer wrote his statement down and said " if we have anymore questions we'll be in touch" and walked away.
A doctor came out of the room where Sayuri was and walked towards Kyo. "Excuse me sir?" he said looking at Kyo. "I am Ken'ichi, Sayuri's doctor." He introduced himself. "Is she going to be ok?" He asked. "She is going to be fine, but I have to ask what is your relationship with Sayuri? She is one of our residents here at the hospital and never misses a shift. We didn't think she had a life cause le she always was working." The doctor said trying to lighten up the mood. "I'm Kyo, Sayuri's boyfriend." He responded. "I am aware of who you are, i just didn't know you were involved with our Sayuri. Well she is like family to us and we will take care of her." He said and walked away.
Kyo went into the room after they were finished taking her blood and hooking her up to machines to monitor her. He just started at her. So looked so vulnerable. He sat in the chair next to her bed. He didn't know what to do, but he would stay by her side. One of the nurse came and and started told asked him to leave for a few moments. They wanted to do a rape kit to be safe.
He left the room and took the opportunity to call his manager and tell him what's going on. Mr. Hideki told Kyo not to worry about it. Everything was pretty much ready. When he was done with the phone call he stopped one of the nurses coming out the room and asked to speak with Sayuri's boss. The nurse went to her station and called him. "Sir, he'll be down in a moment.
About 10 minutes later a man in a black suit came into Sayuri's room. " Hello, i am Mr. Satoshi. How can i help you?" The man asked. "Hello Mr. Satoshi. I am Kyo." He introduced himself back. "I am aware of who you are sir. I am myself a fan." He stated. "Is she going to be ok?" He asked. "She will be fine. No signs of sexual assault. She might have some headaches, but she'll be fine" he replied. "Well if that's the case, i would like to request something" Kyo said. " Last night I asked her to come on tour with my and the band to America next month. I think with this situation it would do her some good to get a way for a while. She has had a hard life" Kyo said to the man."
Mr. Satoshi stood there for a moment before replying. " Kyo-sama i don't see where that would be an issue. Sayuri has worked here for years and has always been reliable. She doesn't open up to anyone or talk about her past. Shes very reserved, but i can see the sadness that surrounds her. You must be very special to her if she has opened up to you. I don't even think she has any friends." He responded back.
Kyo bowed thanking the man. " One more thing Kyo. We would like to keep her here for the night just to observe her. She should be fine to go home tomorrow." With the Mr. Satoshi walked away. Kyo was relieved to hear that she was going to be fine.
A few hours later woke up feeling sore all over. Everything was blurry at first, but her eyes soon adjusted. She knew where she was, but she didn't know why she was here. She looked over towards the windows of the hospital room and there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a card attached. She wanted to go read it, but didn't want to move. She pressed the call button on the bed to get some ones attention. Not even a moment later one of the nurses came into the room.
"Sayuri! You're awake!" Said the nurse. Sayuri knew the nurse well. They work together on the same shift. She was a very nice person and loved her job just as much as she did. "Akiko, what am i doing here?" Sayuri asked in confusing. "You don't remember?" She asked. Sayuri shook her head in response. "Sayuri, you were attacked this morning." Akiko told her. Sayuri sat there for a moment trying to remember, but she just couldn't. "Well anyways except for a hit to the head, you're going to be fine. Though i have to say, i don't know what would have happened if your boyfriend hadn't of saved you." Akiko said to her. "My boyfriend?" Sayuri questioned. " oh don't be modest Sayuri. Everyone knows you are dating that dreamy Kyo from Dir en grey. We are all jealous" Akiko said with a little jealousy in her voice. 'When did he become my boyfriend? Not that i wouldn't mind' she started thinking to herself.
Her thoughts were interrupted when she saw him walk into the room. "How are you feeling?" He asked her. "My head hurts a bit, but apparently I'll be fin from what i am told," she responded with laughter. Kyo laughed at her response. "Nurse, when will she be able to leave?" Kyo asked Akiko. "We are getting ready to unhook her from the machines. Just will need her to sign this paper" Akiko said as she handed her a clip board with HIPPA release' and all the other paperwork.
As the the nurse was unhooking her from the machine she started talking to Sayuri. "Sayuri you know the drill. If you feel funny or that something is wrong please come back so we can check you out. And if you need anything call me and let me know " Akiko said. "Thank you Akiko. I will" she responded back to her colleague. After being unhooked and discharged Kyo and Sayuri waked out of the hospital where his car was waiting for them.
Kyo helped her into his car and shut the passenger door. Kyo got into the drivers side and started to drive away. "Kyo i have no idea what happened when i got home this morning, but i wanted to thank you. This is the second time you have saved me and i feel awful , cause I've done nothing for you." She said in a mixed tone of sadness and gratitude. Kyo couldn't help but laugh at her. "Hey what is so funny?" She asked in a rougher tone. She didn't understand why he was laughing. "I'm sorry i don't mean to laugh, but your words while i know were meaningful were ridiculous. You think you have done nothing for me?" Kyo said with a bit of anger in his voice. Sayuri just looked at him confused.
They came to a red light and Kyo just sat there. Neither one of them spoke. They drove the rest of the way in silence. Sayuri didn't want to anger him any further. As they pulled in to her drive way of her house they sat there for a moment longer before Kyo turned towards. "Sayuri, I am sorry. I didn't mean to sound angry, but for you to think you have done nothing for me literally hurts. Sayuri, i know it hasn't been long, but i believe i am falling in love with you. I haven't felt like this with anyone. Why do you think I invited you to come with me on tour? Oh just so you know i have cleared it worth your boss. Sayuri o want to see where this goes.
