A/N: FIFTY CHAPTERS!!! *happy party dance* So yes, this is the never-ending story it seems. :-P Party with cake and ice cream for everyone! Okay, so since me and Cat had too much fun with our own ideas of a Spencer solution, we went ahead with it. So if you don't like, oh well, we had too much fun with our ideas. Besides, this should also make the updates go really quick as I'm still giggling over our plottings. I also have several ideas for chapters on down the road and such, so be on the lookout for those. Anyways, without any more mindless author drivel that nobody really reads anyways, the new chapter, and off to get cracking on the next chapter already! :-P *hugs and passes more ice cream and alcohol*

Rebecca had been spending most of her time after the trial results and such with Patrick or with Cat, helping out with the wedding plans. After all, she was still maid of honor. So when she had been unintentionally given a night with no plans, she was eager to spend the night lounging around her room for the most part, maybe goofing off with some music of her own. But just as she was about to grab a shower and change into her pajamas, her cell phone rang from the desk where she had set it after coming in from helping her mom with grocery shopping.
“Hello?”
“Hey, Becca. Are you doing anything tonight?”
She smiled as Spencer was inadvertently asking if she wanted to do something with him. She felt bad because she had barely been able to say two words to him since the close of the trial, except for a small celebration night out that he had pulled her along on.
“Nope. What did you have in mind, Spence? And you better be glad that you called me when you did because I was about to jump in the shower and change into pj’s. Then there would have been no way that you could have gotten me to go out with you.”
“All the guys are gone, and I’m bored. Care to come by for a movie night? I’ll even let you choose the movie.”
Rebecca laughed and walked around the room to put her pajamas back up until tonight. She couldn’t refuse a movie night with her best friend. After all, he might be heading back to Vegas soon after Cat and Ryan’s wedding. And then there would be no telling the next time she would be able to see him again.
“Sure. Have you eaten yet? Because I could drop by the burger place and pick us up something. It will be another veggie burger though, I don’t hold to having meat in my car, and you know that.”
She laughed as she heard Spencer’s playful sigh, knowing that he liked the veggie burgers just fine. Besides, she had made sure to let him know on more than one occasion that she didn’t like the meat burgers, and hated even having them around her.
“I guess that will be alright. It sure beats starving, after all. So are you going to be over? They rushed off earlier today and no one has been back since.”
“Aww, poor Spencey. Of course I’ll be over. Just let me get out of the house and go by to pick up the food and I’ll be over. You won’t die from being alone for a little longer.”
“And just how do you know that, Becca?”
“Oh hush, silly goose. But I’m going to head out now. I’ll be there in a bit.”
“Thanks Becca.”
“Of course.”
Rebecca laughed as she closed her cell and put it into her purse along with her wallet and grabbed a jacket before heading downstairs to let her mom know where she was heading.

Rebecca smiled as Spencer opened the door to Jon’s place where the boys always stayed when in Chicago. She walked in and headed towards the kitchen to put the food down so they could eat. It seemed odd without anyone but Spencer here, but she didn’t mention it as it seemed Spencer was upset about something.
“So you might as well spill whatever it is that’s bothering you, Spence. Unless you want to put off the inevitable.”
“Um, how about we eat first? Then we can go chat. I’m starved.”
She raised an eyebrow at Spencer’s avoidance tactics. Something must really be wrong with him to put off whatever was bothering him. Normally he would just spill whatever it was as soon as he caught sight of her. But then again, she couldn’t exactly claim to be different herself, as she seemed to cling to him at times as well. She shrugged it off and merely set out the food, deciding that if he wanted to put off telling her whatever was wrong, then it was up to him after all.
“So, where is everyone else, or did they just run off while you were sleeping?”
“Ha ha, Becca. No, Jon and Ryan had said something about doing something with your brother. And Brendon rushed off not long ago muttering something about having to meet up with Cat for something. I mean we were just sitting around watching a movie, then he jumped up and rushed off. It’s normal for him after all, but still a little weird. So I called you to see if you would come hang out. That way I know I’m not running everyone off.”
“It’s okay. I think Cat mentioned something about having to ask Brendon some things about something anyways. Brendon probably just forgot about it, as usual.”
Rebecca made up something to make Spencer feel better, although she was curious as to why Brendon would be rushing out like that. Especially without having anywhere in particular to go. She continued to eat her burger, hoping that everything with Spencer would turn out okay. After all, she hated seeing him in such an odd and twisted up mood.
“Umm, Reby? Can I get some advice?”
“Sure, Spence.”
“Well, um, I was talking to a friend of mine from back home today while the others were gone and he was asking if I could help him out with something. So of course I said sure and all. But the thing is, I don’t know what to tell him about his problem. So I was wondering if I could get you to help him out with this.”
“Okay? What’s his problem, Spence?”
“Well, he’s been going through a bad relationship end lately, and he’s had some doubts about himself. Well, he thinks that he might be gay.”
Rebecca bit her bottom lip seeing how nervous and such that Spencer seemed to be acting at the moment. Could the mysterious friend be Spencer? That would certainly be a good reasoning behind why he was so nervous and such. But that would be quite the revelation if he really were to be gay. That would also bring up the question of who the mysterious guy that had seemingly pulled Spence out of his funk.
“Well, I guess it’s for your friend to decide. After all, it’s his life and such. Why should he have to worry about others? I say you tell him to just go for it and do whatever he feels like.”
“Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too. I mean, who should tell someone who to care for. I just wanted to get someone else’s opinion on the matter. And I trust you with this, so I wanted to ask.”
Becca stood and started cleaning up the kitchen and such, humming to herself and trying to figure out a way to get Spence comfortable enough to where he would be more likely to confide in her the truth behind his little story. She smiled as she noticed that Spencer seemed to be fidgeting a little more in his seat, in the normal manner that seemed to normally mean he was about to tell her something serious.
“So Spence, when did you start to realize this?”
“After the little mix up with the drugs and the club thing. I mean --- “
Becca turned back to Spencer with a small smile. She walked over and gave him a light hug from behind his chair. She really didn’t mind that Spencer was coming out to her. After all, she certainly didn’t care what his preferences are, she never gave two thoughts about that sort of thing. She lightly reached up and pulled the hand down from his mouth.
“Spencey, it’s okay. Besides, you should know better than to think that I actually would care about something like that.”
“God, Reby, you’re not going to say anything, are you? I mean, of course not. Forgive me for ass moment number two?”
“Of course, you big oaf. So, do I know the lucky guy who brought about this revelation?”
Rebecca could tell by the blush on Spencer’s cheeks that she probably did know who Spencer was thinking of at the moment, but knew not to press the matter again. She just shrugged it off and continued to go about cleaning the kitchen up from the meal. Spencer stood and grabbed her purse and her arm, pulling her off towards the door.
“Come one, I have an idea. How about karaoke?”
“Um, okay. But give me those. You’re not driving my car.”
Rebecca laughed and then grabbed her purse back from Spencer and laughed while heading out to her car.
