A/N: Wee for my plot bunnies having orgies with Cat's and pushing me to write and post more over and over! And yes, Spencer really does do "Baby Got Back" for karaoke! *giggles* So here's another new one! *still sharing stuff from over 50 chapters party* :)

Rebecca pulled to a stop outside of the karaoke bar that they had decided to head over to for the night. Spencer had given her directions to a bar that apparently he had been to with the other boys one night while out on a celebration sort of thing, and had ended up getting so smashed that they all went up for at least one round of karaoke, even Ryan. Although they had inevitably been disqualified from an impromptu contest because they were already in a famous band. Becca had found the stories incredibly interesting as they drove, Spencer interjecting with the directions every once in a while.
Becca got out of the car and giggled at the smirk on Spencer’s face. Perhaps this karaoke thing would be a good idea after all, especially if it made him feel a little better after the little bit of a chat they had earlier. At least she could hope that the bar might let Spence have a little to drink as it looked like he might need it.
“Come on, Becca, you slow poke.”
“Okay, okay, Spence. But what’s the hurry?”
“The contest registration ends in a few minutes.”
“Oh, no you don’t Spencer James Smith. You know I don’t sing in public. Even to a very drunk and half deaf public.”
“Come on, Reby. Please? With me?”
“Spencer you are a weasel, do you know that?”
“But a loveable and adorable weasel, right?”
“Only in your wildest daydreams, Spencey.”
Despite the mock argument, Becca let Spencer pull her into the bar and over to the bar at the small sign for registration. She stuck her tongue out at Spencer again as he grinned before turning to the guy running the registration to sign them both up. But luckily for Becca, her last name at least carried some weight, and he didn’t seem to keep up with most of the specifics of the popular music scene.
“I can’t let her compete. She’s already a famous celebrity. You can though, Smith.”
“Thank you. He’ll be fine, I wasn’t really wanting to sing myself anyways.”
Becca gave the guy a quick wink before pulling Spencer off before he could say anything to mess up the karaoke thing any more. After all, with it just being him this time, he might try to get out of it. And what fun would that be?
“Come on, let’s go see if we can talk our way into some drinks.”
~*~
Some time later, it appeared that the karaoke contest wasn’t going to be happening tonight, instead they would just be holding an open mic night, as there weren’t enough people, so Spencer lucked out on that she guessed. And so they had proceeded to manage to talk a fan who had spotted Spencer in to buying the drinks for them, with being paid back of course. Just Becca and Spencer were both underage, so they just needed someone to actually buy the drinks.
After several drinks, both Spencer and Becca were feeling the effects and were feeling pretty good with themselves, Becca even being convinced to go up and do a song herself, with the promise of Spencer singing next of course.
Just as Becca was sitting down, she squealed as she noticed another pair walking into the bar. She rushed over and grabbed Cat into a tight hug and doing the same to Brendon, leaving a kiss on his cheek. She pulled them over to the table where she was sitting with Spencer. She giggled as Spencer took the mic from the girl who had just sang (rather horridly) a Britney Spears song, that made Becca want to gag.
“This song is for someone who rocks my world in every way! Hit it!”
Becca giggled at Spencer’s drunken introduction. Although when the song itself started, she almost fell out of her chair laughing.
“I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung.”
Becca continued to giggle through the entire rendition, Spencer even having gone far enough to get the crowd who were still conscious to join in with him. It was entertaining to say the least. Although at the end of the song, Spencer was walking back down to the table when he froze for a moment.
“Wow, Spence, that’s some song.”
Apparently Brendon’s response seemed to shake Spencer out of his stupor, because he stuttered something about having to go grab some air or such before rushing out of the door. Becca turned to Brendon, with a bit of a grin. So that was the answer to the questions from earlier. But as Brendon just stood there with a blank look on his face, both Cat and Becca seemed to have the same idea, as they both yelled at him at the same time.
“Well?! Go after him!”
Becca stared at Cat for a moment. Wait! How did she know about Spencer? Then it hit her. That must have been what Brendon was talking to her about. Oh, boy, was this an interesting twist. So the boys had apparently been fighting with themselves and had very suddenly and awkwardly come to their senses.
Although when the two girls seemed to shake off their epiphany moment, they frowned seeing that Brendon was now nowhere to be found. Hopefully he had went after Spencer, because Spence would be out walking, as she had the keys.
“That son of a bitch.”
Becca turned towards Cat with a bit of a confused look on her face.
“What?”
“Brendon drove. So I’m stranded. Unless you can tell me you drove and still have the keys?”
“Yep. I’m not letting that oaf drive my car.”
The two girls shared a quick laugh before Becca motioned towards the door. Maybe they should both go out searching for the boys, as there was no telling what could happen to either of them tonight.
“Come on, let’s go make sure those two don’t end up dead on the side of a street or such. Especially with Spence walking. And while we’re at it, you can tell me about the other half of our little love story.”
