in fontvieille, a now-made-classic-and-well-behaved princess who had been herself somewhat slutty in her teens was waitin in fury and a formerly-sexualy-aroused-but-presentle-depressed thierry was scared to death of what the outcome could be. Caroline walked over to Thierry. They were standing behind the VIP tables where the Grimaldis always sit for the Monte Carlo Jumping International. Caroline had her arms crossed and leaned close to Thierry to speak discreetly. She smelled the liquor on his breath. "Goodness, Thierry, can't you at least have a shower before you come to train my daughter?"
Thierry apologized for his shabby appearance and smell. "I'm very sorry, ma'am. I don't know what to say. There is no excuse for this..."
Caroline frowned. "Well, perhaps you can have a shower in the changing rooms before Charlotte arrives. It's a poor example to set for my daughter, you know. I want her to be serious about showjumping. She has a lot of promise and she's bringing it lots of free publicity with this hobby."
"Yes, ma'am," Thierry said, nervously.
"Speaking of Charlotte, do you have any idea why she and my other children (besides perfect Alex of course) are tardy this morning? I had to get my bodyguards to fetch them at the palais. Thank God, they're on the way now."
"No, ma'am..." Thierry felt horrible for lying to the princess who paid him so much money to train Charlotte in showjumping. "I don't know where Miss Casiraghi or any of your children are."
