Rebecca woke up with a lazy yawn, stretching before running her hands over her face. Although she jumped when she noticed a ring on her left hand. She was going to have to get used to that, and quickly too. She felt stirring from beside her and turned her head to see Patrick turning over and giving her a slow and sleepy smile. She had almost forgotten that they had come back over to his place after the embarrassing moment with Pete and Ivy at her house the night before.
A faint blush covered her cheeks at the thoughts that had crept through her mind from waking up in such a precarious situation. Although she knew that everything was perfectly alright, as she slid out of the bed and headed towards the bathroom, straightening the oversized shirt she had borrowed from him to sleep in. She playfully added a little more sway to her walk as she heard the chuckle coming from behind her.
Becca looked herself over in the mirror for a moment, still feeling a little weird about the ring on her left hand. It was gorgeous to be sure, but it was still a little weird to think of herself as being engaged. But she supposed that it would grow less odd as time went on. After all, she would be married soon enough. That thought made her panic for a moment. What was she doing? Married? She wasn’t any sort of girl for Patrick. Why she had been publicly trashed with all her dirty laundry, and what kind of person was that to be sharing his life with?
She jumped at a light knock on the door. God, she needed to stop worrying about things. After all, Patrick knew all the dirty things in her past and yet he still loved her. She should be content with that knowledge. She walked over and opened the door, smiling at Patrick as he stood there still looking sleepy and more than adorable. She left a light kiss on his cheek as she moved from the bathroom to let him have his morning bathroom break.
Becca wandered down to the kitchen and began shuffling through the ingredients looking for something to fix for breakfast for the two of them. At the very least, she could always just make something when they got back to her house. She found cereal and fruit in the cabinets and milk in the fridge and decided that simple cereal and milk could suffice. After all, she wasn’t too hungry, as they had went out for such a big meal the night before. She danced around the kitchen setting everything up and humming lightly to herself.
Patrick followed the sound of movement to the kitchen and smiled as he saw Becca walking around the kitchen getting things set up for breakfast, completely at home. He felt good that Becca seemed to be comfortable in his surroundings. After all, he was hoping that things would be theirs soon enough. He walked over to her and wrapped his arms lightly around her waist kissing her gently on the neck.
Becca giggled and squirmed until she had turned around to face Patrick at the tickling sensation against her neck. She reached up and wrapped her arms around Patrick’s neck, a banana still dangling from her hand as she kissed him with a smile.
“Good morning to you too. Does cereal and milk sound like a good breakfast? I wasn’t that hungry, and didn’t know if you would want anything bigger.”
“Cereal and milk is perfect. Besides, if I were to try and eat too much of anything I might be sick. Maybe we had a bit too much wine last night total.”
Becca giggled and nodded, unwrapping herself from Patrick’s arms and walking over to the table where she had set everything up except for the milk. She set the fruit down before turning to get the milk, but smiled as she saw Patrick had grabbed it and walked back over to the table and sat down.
“So, do you have anything major planned today or is it just a ‘lazy around’ day?”
She grinned as it seemed Patrick might be asking her to do something with him, or at the very least, just stick around and be lazy here. She took a bite of cereal before shrugging. She knew that today she would have to at least tell Spencer and Cat about the proposal. And she would probably have to deal with Ivy and her suspicions.
“Nothing concrete, but I’m sure that Spence is dying of curiosity about the proposal. Especially since he was in on it. And I’ll have to tell Cat, else she kill me for keeping it from her. I have Ivy clean up to do. But that’s nothing really set in stone. Why? Are you wanting to do something? Or just lazy around here with movies in pajamas?”
Becca grinned at the last suggestion. It sounded infinitely appealing, especially as it looked rather gray outside this morning. Plus curling up on the couch with Patrick for movies was always fun. Patrick shook his head, eating some of his cereal as he paused.
“No, I was just wondering. Since I have to take you home and such. This way I know when we have to leave, rather than just when we should leave.”
“Movies with you in pajamas will take a raincheck then. Maybe tonight or tomorrow? If I don’t get swept off with wedding preparations with Cat or such.”
She covered her mouth with a giggle as she realized she would be planning her own wedding soon enough after Cat’s. She smiled a bit sheepishly.
“I just realized that after Cat’s wedding, I will be planning ours. Wow. Sort of crazy, huh?”
“Are you having second thoughts, Reby? Because I mean, if you are, not that I’m suggesting that you would, I just --- “
Becca smiled and covered Patrick’s hand with her own, silencing him in his little flustered ramble. She realized that it had perhaps sounded like she was a little weirded out by the entire wedding thing, but she was just remarking on the suddenness of it all.
“Patrick, I’m not second guessing. It’s just a little funny. I finish helping one of my best friends, and then comes my own turn. A wedding is just something that I never really thought of actually happening.”
“You’re perfect, Reby. But since you have so many meetings with loving friends, maybe we should get over to your house so you can get changed and such. Although it would be amusing to see the reactions to you dressed like that.”
Rebecca glanced down and laughed at just the oversized shirt that she was wearing with her undergarments. She turned to smirk at Patrick, an idea already forming in her mind. She had no doubt that Pete and Ivy were going to think the worst out of them, and probably had spent the night having fun themselves. So she didn’t see any harm in a little fun herself.

Becca giggled as she walked up to the door with Patrick, looking rather suspicious wearing the shirt she had slept in and a pair of his gym shorts that she had managed to tie up enough to keep them from falling off. Patrick had taken a quick shower and gotten ready as per normal while Becca had cleaned up the kitchen, despite him telling her she needn’t do such. She grabbed Patrick’s arm as he started to open the door.
“Let’s give them enough time to at least try to be decent or out of view. The dogs are barking, so that will be warning.”
“Right. The last thing I need to see is Pete and Ivy in any variety of scandalous poses.”
She laughed and returned his kiss as he pulled her to him, not caring that they were standing out in the open where her neighbors could see. After all, the worst they could do was to ask her mom. She smiled as they pulled apart.
“Maybe we can go in now. The neighbors might get a little suspicious and then they’ll ask Mom.”
“Okay then. I’ll go first and try to at least clear the way.”
Becca giggled as he opened the door, but stopped before getting too far into the house. But as she glanced around him, she could tell why he had stopped dead in his tracks. There was Ivy naked as could be, taking her peaceful time going up the stairs.
“Take a picture, Stumpy, because it’s the last time you’ll ever see this piece of ass. Oi, Pete! Your sister and her FIANCE are here!”
Becca shook her head giggling before she hid her face in Patrick’s back. That wasn’t how she wanted to start the morning. Especially given that the matters of Pete and Ivy probably doing god knows what all over the house meant she wouldn’t be able to touch anything without thoroughly scrubbing and sanitizing everything in the entire house. Although that wasn’t the last shocker, as Pete came barreling around the corner, attempting to cover himself with two couch cushions. She just stood there shaking her head laughing.
“Um, hi guys, um, don’t tell Mom.”
Becca stood there for a moment in a bit of shock before looking off towards the living room with an unconscious shudder. If she was right, then she wouldn’t want to go in there for a while, especially near the couch. But before they could even try to sort out somewhere safe to sit, Ivy came back downstairs, this time thankfully dressed.
“Ok, you two, I can explain everything. You see, with you gone, Pete and I, um, got into the refrigerator and drank the rest of the alcohol in there and ended up a little bit everywhere. And that doesn’t really do any explaining, does it?”
Becca just stared at Ivy for a moment before laughing. Oh boy, this was some pretty good blackmail to add to her stash. Although if Ivy or Pete realized her own little ploy, there would be just as much to go back on her and Patrick.
“Nope, Ivy, and that’s what is going to make the blackmail all the more fun. But as to what Pete said about telling Mom, you don’t tell her about me and Patrick on the couch, and we won’t tell her about you and Pete.”
“Deal, though incidentally, you might not want to sit in those chairs either. And you might want to avoid the kitchen altogether. The stairs, the hallway, and the bathrooms. What?”
Becca stepped away from the chairs in question and stood in the middle of the room, her mouth hanging open a little. Sure, she knew that Pete and Ivy were now having sex, but to do so everywhere in the entire house? That was something else entirely. Thankfully she hadn’t been here to run the possibility of stepping out of her room to see that.
“Um, Ivy, I didn’t know, um … Wow. You seemed to have gotten a lot of use out of every surface of the house. I …”
Becca didn’t really know how to respond to that little revelation. She could tell that her face was blushing furiously and glanced over to see the same red color on Patrick’s cheeks as well. Boy, Pete and Ivy had really outdone themselves this time.
“Oh! I get it now. I shouldn’t have said anything, should I?”
“Said anything about what, Poison?”
“I was merely telling them where they needed to avoid around the house if they’re worried about the couch so much. It was merely a statement of fact.”
“Did you mention the basement? That was the most fun I think I’ve ever had on that pool table.”
“Okay! Enough! I don’t want to hear about your sexcapades any longer. Go upstairs and take a shower, or whatever you need to do, and then come downstairs and we’ll forget everything.”
Becca covered her ears as Pete joined in the rather disgusting commentary on the various places and such they had had sex on. Just the thought of her brother having sex was something she didn’t want to think about. It was more awkward than anything else and quite frankly she just didn’t want to bother with it at the moment. So she sighed in relief when Pete and Ivy headed upstairs to hopefully clean up and become decent. She shook her head and turned to Patrick with a small grin.
“Maybe we should have just stayed at your place with movies in pajamas.”
