3 days later the good charlotte guys with Emma in tow left the spacious surrounds of their hotels for the cramped yet funky tour bus.
After spending the past days reading about band line-ups, performance locations, stop overs, promotions obligations and the like Emma felt more relaxed and excited to be part of the tour.
Looking over his shoulder Paul asked, “so who’s up for a night out?” After a 5 replies of “I am” they started to discuss where to go.
“I wouldn’t mind checking out the new place in town, um memento I think it’s called” Joel called out.
“How about the lucky? We had a blast their last time.” Replied Benji
“Na the bouncers are totally pricks” replied Paul
“Well how about the new full blast club? I’ve heard they have killer bands play” asked Emma
After another 10 minutes of discussing the attributes of each club it was decided that they would head for the full blast and then go onto memento later
At 10.30pm the gang got out of the van and walked towards the back door of the club. Glancing at Emma’s curious look Paul explained that this way they wouldn’t attract as much attention then entering via the front door.
Settling into a large diner style booth in a semi dark area of the club, the gang started to relax. Paul and Joel went to the bar with the intention of bringing back everybody’s drinks order. Chris could be seen dancing with two pretty redheads on the dance floor.
Benji, Billy and Emma remained with the table debating the pros and cons of touring, spying Joel and Paul making their way back Benji excused himself and left heading towards the male bathroom leaving Billy and Emma alone.
“So with all the travel you do with ya movies and music and modelling it must be hard on your boyfriend, you know not seeing you often?’ Billy asked
“Hardly, I need to actually have a boyfriend first” “But what about you I cant imagine it would be any easier on your girlfriend having you away so much plus all the girls chasing after you?” Emma replied.
Laughing Billy replied “Na same here no girlfriend to miss me”
Both Benji and Chris returned to the table in time to help Paul and Joel distributed the drinks.
