Chapter 6:
The next few days flew by in rapid speed and before Brian even knew it, it was 6.45am on Friday morning and he stood in front of the mirror, checking out his reflection in the bright mirror, ignoring the dark bags that hung under his eyes from his blatant lack of sleep the past few days and looking at his outfit, the grey pinstriped dress pants clinging to his legs while the black, long sleeved button up shirt only accentuated his well defined arms. A slight smirk graced his attractive face as he ran a single hand with the tiniest amount of gel and spiked his short hair up to its always immaculate standards. He took one last glance at his reflection before leaving the bathroom and grabbing his keys, BlackBerry and wallet, sliding it into his pocket before leaving his hotel suite and heading straight for the elevator that lead straight towards his car. He thought he would have a nice, easy and uninterrupted route to his client’s house, but he was incredibly wrong, finding himself deadlocked in a traffic jam that was crawling at an annoyingly slow pace. He growled and smacked hard at the steering wheel, seeing that it was already quarter past seven. He didn’t know if he would even have time to go and pick his client up by the time they both had to be at the venue. He had just managed to wriggle his phone free from the tight confines of his pants when the traffic seemed to disappear, the deadlock all of a sudden broken as the cars all went the way he didn’t need to go. He glanced up at the roof of his car and muttered a simple “thank you” before pressing his foot down on the accelerator and driving the way he had been hoping for the rest of the way to his client’s house. He pulled up out the front of his clients house five minutes later then he would have liked to but was relieved to see the much younger man already waiting outside, headphones stuck inside his ear, playing with his phone. A small smile crept across Brian’s lips as he looked at the younger man, who despite his past looked every part the picture of teenage innocence. Zack looked up, flashing his brilliant green eyes at the older man and pulled his headphones out before climbing into the passenger seat. Zack closed the door and pulled the seatbelt across his slender body before turning to look at the older man, his eyes narrowing slightly to glare at him. “You’re late.” “Hello to you too.” Brian smirked, pulling the car out into the street and continuing the drive towards their destination. “I was stuck in traffic.” “There’s no traffic at this time of the morning.” Zack replied sharply. “You just wanted five more minutes of beauty sleep, didn’t you old man?” Brian couldn’t help but laugh, glancing over at his client, who had the largest, cheekiest grin he’d ever seen. “Yep, you caught me. Made up that whole story of a traffic jam and everything.” “I hope I don’t turn into a liar when I’m as old as you!” Zack laughed, a sense of warmth washing over Brian for a reason he didn’t quite know. “I’m not even that old.” Brian said, a grin creeping across his face. “I’m only thirty.” “You’re thirty?!” Zack exclaimed, looking mortified. “That’s kinda gross.” Brian creased his brow slightly. “Gee, thanks.” He rolled his eyes, concentrating solely on the road in front of him and not paying attention to the fact that Zack’s eyes had not left his body from the moment he had entered the car. A few minutes passed before Brian could suddenly feel the burning gaze that was staring at him from the passenger seat. He used his peripheral vision and glanced to the side, confirming his suspicions, a large smirk creeping across his lips. “You know, for someone who just said I was gross, you sure can’t keep your eyes off me.” He spoke, this time turning his head to look at the young offender, who bowed his head down as his cheeks flushed a dark shade of crimson, causing Brian to laugh. “Shut up. It’s not even funny.” Zack snapped, turning his gaze to look out of the window at all the busy people rushing along the streets. Brian responded by laughing, eyes fixed on the road as he reached their destination, turning into the bottom level of the building and parking the car in one of the designated spots. He turned the car off and stepped out of the car, watching as the other man did the same thing before locking the car and heading towards where the elevator was. He pressed the up button while he reached into his pocket and pulled out the little slip of paper he had in there and glanced at the address of the place he’d casually scribbled down. The elevator lit up and dinged, the doors spreading apart as both men walked in, standing on opposite sides of the small space but not looking at each other. Brian reached his hand up and pressed the number 3 button on the little control panel. He looked to his left to see the younger man with his head leaning back slightly and could see Zack blatantly staring at his ass. “See something you like?” Brian asked with his trademark cocky grin as he shook his hips from side to side in front of the younger man. “Um, sorry.” Zack muttered his eyes wide as he dropped his gaze, but did nothing to hide his bright red cheeks. Brian stepped back to his original position while they both wait awkwardly for the elevator to ding at their level. They didn’t have to wait long until the elevator dinged on level three and the pair exited and walked down the white corridor towards the door that housed their photo shoot. He reached his hand up and knocked three times on the white door, and only had to wait a moment before it was opened by another man. “Hello. You must Zack Baker and his agent?” The man asked, opening the door wider to see Zack almost hiding behind the older man. “Oh yes, there he is. Come on in.” The unknown man stepped aside and let them both inside the large loft that was hidden behind the door. As soon as he stepped inside the area, however, Zack found himself being grabbed by a woman, muttering something about hair and make up and was being forcefully dragged to another room as he shot a pleading look at the older man to help him. Brian smirked, walking quickly behind his client, his eyes glancing around the room at all the various props and costumes that were messily placed in any available space. He walked into the room where he could see Zack placed in a chair and there was already another woman applying a clear liquid to his face, rubbing it evenly across his face. “You don’t have to look so scared, sweetheart.” She cooed over him, the look of horror on Zack’s face was priceless to Brian. “He’s just a little nervous.” Brian spoke, folding his arms and leaning back against the wall. “It’s his first photo shoot.” “Ah, I see now.” The woman smiled as she rested her hands on Zack’s shoulders. “You have no reason to be nervous sweetheart, you will do great.” She said with a reassuring smile, showing off her picture perfect smile before turning to Brian with an outstretched hand. “I’m Gena by the way.” “Brian Haner, Zack’s manager.” Brian said professionally, shaking her hand. “I wasn’t exactly told what he’s going to be modeling today, but have they told you?” A small smile crept across Gena’s face. “I believe its some sort of edible chocolate body paint.” Brian instantly felt his cock twitch, his pants constricting slightly at the thought of Zack naked and sprawled out every which way for him to see and covered completely in chocolate. He remembered he had to breathe after a few moments; the feeling in the lower half of his body was almost unbearable, his eyes heavily glazed over with lust. Gena furrowed her brow at him. “Brian, are you alright?” Brian glanced over at her, a small smirk on her face giving away exactly what she’d just seen and he didn’t dare look at Zack’s mocking face. “Uh, yeah.” He answered strangely. “This lack of sleep does crazy stuff to you. Where abouts is the toilet? Might go and freshen up.” Gena couldn’t help the large smile that crept across her face as she put two and two together. “Just down the end of the hall and to your right.” She answered as she watched Brian nod and mumble something she couldn’t understand before leaving the room and heading towards the toilet. “You two are so cute.” She remarked, causing Zack to look at her via the reflection. “What’s so cute?” He asked while she turned him around in the chair and started putting the foundation on him. “You two.” She answered. “The way you two look at each other is so adorable. How long have you two been together?” Zack’s body visibly stiffened at that question. “We’re not together.” “Oh.” She responded, pausing for a moment. “Really? You both look at each other as if you are.” “Uh, no.” Zack said quietly. “He’s my manager and that’s it.” “But do you want it to be more?” She pressed on, finished with the pressed powder and starting with the eyeliner. “Just look up for me, sweetie.” Zack did as she instructed while thinking about what she’d asked him. “I don’t think he wants it.” He said sadly. “I’m twenty and he’s thirty, it’s a bit of a gap.” “I think if you paid a little more attention to the looks he gives you, you would be pleasantly surprised at what you see.” She said with a knowing smile as she picked up the brightly coloured eye shadow. “Just close your eyes for me please.” He followed her instructions, closing his eyes while he felt the eye shadow brush cover both of his eyelids in whatever colour she’d picked out for him. But her simple comments had made him wonder. What if he had missed something like that, maybe he had and he hadn’t even realized. But he knew deep down that Brian didn’t want him and probably never would, a sudden rush of sadness rolling over him and embracing his every whim. He took an inward deep breath, centering himself and not wanting to cry over someone who probably didn’t even care. “And open your eyes.” He heard Gena’s voice tell him and he opened them back up to their wide self as he looked up again while she applied the mascara to his eyes. She swiveled his chair around once more and he looked at himself in the mirror. He was almost taken aback by the person he saw on the other side. His reflection had perfectly smooth skin with just the right amount of blush that contoured his slightly rounded cheeks while his eyes were almost breathtaking. Around his already bright green eyes was the brightest shade of green he’d ever seen while on the bottom of his eyelashes was a bright shade of pink. He smiled; it was the first time in his life he could say he looked attractive. While Gena did his hair, changing it from his trademarked side fringe to push it up and back, changing his hair to a style that looked like it was straight out of the 1940’s. He smiled, liking the change, trying to remember exactly what she was doing to he could try and do it at home but his concentration ran out the window when he saw Brian walking back into the room, his face looked like it had just been washed. He saw his manager look at him through the reflection and he shot him a small, appreciative smile. “And you’re all done.” Gena said with a smile as she walked over to the corner and pulled out a small white bag and handed it to Zack. “This is your costume.” Zack opened the small bag and pulled out the smallest black g-string he had ever seen. “I’m supposed to wear this?” He exclaimed, his eyes back to the size of saucers once more. “Yes, you are.” Gena said with a stern sort of tone in her voice. “They want to showcase all of your sex appeal with this photo shoot.” Zack swiveled around in his chair and folded his arms across his chest, narrowing his eyes harshly at his manager. “This is your fault. I told you I didn’t want to do this shit anymore.” “And I told you that by taking small steps, you would be able to get where you want to be eventually. But you need to start somewhere first.” Brian said sharply, watching Zack open his mouth to respond but he beat him to it. “Don’t you even start with me.” He added, watching Zack’s mouth shut quickly. “Gena just spent almost an hour getting you ready and you will get out there and do it. Don’t start your first modeling job with such a bratty attitude.” Zack huffed. “You don’t have to talk to me like I’m a child.” “I wouldn’t have to if you didn’t act like one.” Brian retorted harshly. “I don’t know why you’re so self conscious now when millions of people across the world have seen you completely naked.” “Yeah, but I knew what I was getting myself into for that.” Zack said sharply. “Just get changed and get out there.” Brian replied, folding his arms across his chest and watching as his client stood up from the chair and walked over to the corner and started to undress himself. He quickly turned his head, not wanting to have another erection in such a short amount of time. After a few minutes, he turned his head back to see his younger client standing in front of him in nothing but that tiny black g-string. He couldn’t help the audible gulp that he had to take in, causing Zack to grin at him. “How do I look?” Zack asked, twirling around to make sure Brian saw every part of him, lingering with his back facing the older man, turning his head to see Brian’s eyes wide and staring at his shapely ass. “Good?” He asked with a grin, turning back around to see Brian’s face colour slightly. “You can touch if you want.” Brian spluttered at the sexual suggestion, looking Zack directly in the eye to see that he was very serious with what he had just said. “They, uh, probably need you on set, Zack.” He spoke, voice not its usual calm and in control, but it was almost embarrassed. “Oh, yeah, probably.” Zack said offhandedly, walking out of the room and heading towards the set while Brian followed behind him, eyes unable to lift themselves any higher then the white, shapely ass that was in front of him, barely contained by the thin piece of black material of the g-string. He felt his pants tighten once again at the thought of touching or even fucking that ass. He knew this photo shoot would be more than a little uncomfortable. Zack waltzed onto the set; his shame of being almost completely naked was gone as he listened completely to the directions of the photographer and what the client wanted. He walked onto the set, which had a brown couch in the middle and sat down on it, pulling his legs up so they lay flat next to him and he perched his elbow up on the arm rest, watching as Gena walked over to him, holding tubes of the edible chocolate body paint. She handed one of the tubes to him to show off the product while she opened the caps of the others and started squirting them onto his body and smearing them accordingly all over his body, just as she had been directed. Zack looked over to make eye contact with his manager who was watching him already, enthralled with his current pose. He smirked; he was going to have his manager aching for it by the end of the shoot. Once Gena had finished covering his body almost completely in the body paint, he heard the photographer yell “Action!” and started throwing them his best poses. He started simply, only arching his back off the couch, head tilting as he pouted his lips slightly and threw the photographer the first of many lustful looks. As the shoot went on, Zack became a little more adventurous, at one point bending over on all fours and giving his best ‘come hither’ face to the camera. Every spare chance he got, he shot his most lustful look to his manager, who could already feel a light sheen of sweat on his forehead, his lust growing faster and faster with every shot that was taken. He mind snapped out of it when he felt someone tap him on the shoulder. He looked over his shoulder and saw the client for the product looking at him. “Mr. Haner?” The man asked to which Brian nodded. “I’m Brandan Schieppati, the representative here from Sullivan’s & Co. consumer products.” He introduced himself and Brian shook his hand professionally. “I don’t want to say anything too premature as I haven’t seen all the other applicants but your client is definitely a stand out to be the face of this product.” “Thank you.” Brian said with a smile, taking the compliment. “But I wanted to talk to you in regard to something else.” Brandan spoke and Brian nodded, urging him to continue. “At Sullivan & Co. we represent a large variety of products, our adult range of products with our new J. line, but after seeing exactly what he has, I am very interested in having him as the spokes model for all the new products that will be in this line.” Brian nodded. “I’m sure that Zack himself will be interested in doing this as well but I will, of course have to consult him. You said you didn’t want to jump the gun and now you’re offering this?” He laughed. “Yes, well, I have seen a few of the other clients and none show the same charisma and have the same effect as Zack.” Brandan laughed. “I have no doubt whatsoever that the other clients will be nowhere near his standard of talent. I will, of course, get back to you within the next few days with hopefully a contract drawn up.” “Of course.” Brian said with a smile. “Well thank you for taking the time to notice him. I’m sure he will be more than pleased with this.” “Thank you, Mr. Haner.” Brandan shook Brian’s hand again, taking one of Brian’s business cards, before returning to his post next to the photographer. Brian was just about to turn around and continue watching the show Zack was putting on when he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket. He quickly pulled it out of his pocket and headed down the corridor where there wasn’t as much noise. He saw the number calling wasn’t a familiar one and clicked the answer button before holding it up to his ear. “Hello, Brian Haner speaking.” He said, professionally. “Brian, it’s your father.” He heard his dad’s voice but it sounded worried and confused. “Dad, what’s wrong?” Brian pressed on, his heart racing while his mind raced through many possible outcomes to his question. “Brent’s been taken to hospital. He was in a car crash.” He heard his dad say through a broken sob. “It’s not good Brian; it’s not good at all.” “Dad, I’m going to get there as fast as I can, okay?” Brian spoke, his heart beat still racing. “I have to ring my boss and sort a few things out but I’ll be there as soon as I can, okay dad?” “Okay, son.” His dad said solemnly. “Thank you and I love you.” “I love you too.” Brian said sadly, ending the phone call before scrolling though his contacts and settling on his boss’s phone number and clicking ‘dial’ before holding the device to his ear. After three rings, the phone was answered by his boss. “Matthew Sanders speaking.” Brian took a deep, shaky breath. “Matt, its Brian.” His voice barely able to contain his emotions. “Brian, what’s wrong?” Matt pressed on, his voice sounding concerned. “I just got a call from my dad saying that Brent, my brother, was in a bad car crash.” Brian answered shakily. “I have to go back to New York for a bit and be with him.” “Yes, that’s fine.” Matt replied almost instantly. “Take as much time as you need to spend with your family. Is Zack Baker your only client?” Brian took another deep breath. “Yes, he is.” “He will be my client now. When you arrive in New York, change your phone so that all of your phone calls are diverted directly to me and I will take charge, okay?” Matt spoke professionally but with a degree of sympathy too. “Is there anything I need to know?” “He might be getting a contract to be the model for the J. line of adult products from Sullivan & Co. but you’ll need to talk to him about it. That’s about it really.” Brian said quietly. “But can you please book me a flight to New York?” “Yes, of course.” Matt answered simply. “I’ll text you the details, okay?” “Okay, thanks Matt.” Brian said quietly before hanging up the phone and walking back to where the photo shoot was being done, only to find Zack not there. He walked back to the make up room and saw his make up being removed for him and his body now not covered in chocolate but his pants and shirt from before was back on. He waited patiently, feeling the buzz in his pocket and he read the text his boss had sent him, memorizing the details of his flight while he waited patiently for his client to finish. The pair left the loft and walked down to their car in silence, starting up the car in silence and driving back towards his client’s house, knowing he didn’t have that much time and would have to throw all of his clothes and items into his bag messily to catch this flight. He didn’t know that Zack was watching him very carefully, worried that it was him that did something to upset his older manager. “Is everything alright, Brian?” Zack asked in a small voice. “I have to go back to New York for a bit. Family stuff.” Brian answered in an equally small voice, which crushed Zack even more. “I don’t know how long I’m going to be gone so for the next while, my boss Matthew Sanders will be your manager.” “That’s not very fair. He doesn’t know me at all.” Zack almost whined at his manager, trying to get him to stay. “Life isn’t fair, Zack.” Brian responded, not even looking at his client. “From now on, whenever you ring me, it’s going to go straight to him and he’ll be ringing you and taking you to your appointments.” “Okay.” Zack said quietly, the sadness from before washed over him once more. He didn’t want Brian to leave him at all. Brian pulled up to the curb of Zack’s apartment complex and turned to look once at his younger client. “I’ll be back before you know it, and Matt’s not that bad.” He tried to comfort the younger man. “I hope everything works out okay.” Zack said quietly. “And I’ll see you when you get back, I guess.” “See you later.” Brian mumbled, watching as Zack shut the door and he sped off towards his hotel, glancing at the time, he knew he had barely any time to gather his stuff before his flight took off. In record time, he found himself waiting at the airport, bag packed messily after he had to check out in about two seconds, while he rushed around the airport lobby, making his check in time by one minute he found a seat and grabbed a cup of coffee, while he changed the setting on his phone. He texted his dad to only text him for now and waited impatiently for his flight to be called. His emotions ran into overdrive as the flight was finally called and everyone started boarding, he found his seat, an aisle seat, and sat waiting for the plane to take off, his heart beating erratically as he tapped his fingers on his legs. He hoped he could get there in time for his brother.a/n: i finally updated again yay and its only gonna get better lol :) thanks heaps for reading and reviewing, i have a little bit more free time coming up so i'll be able to update sooner :) much love, GatesVengeance x
