Kazuki&HiroComments: I am not evil. I am an artiste!!! Oh, and let's just pretend that Kazuki's hair is long (think Mindsoap) and he just cut it now (around the time before evergreen)
Song: Yokan

Hiro woke and instantly looked to the bed.
It was as it was last night. Bedcovers still on.
No Yuki.
Kazuki was going to kill him.
********
Yuki winced as Kazuki threw up again. He covered his head with a pillow just as Kazuki exclaimed, “Ugh! That definitely looks healthy.”
“Kazuki!”
“Nani? Like you sound any better with a hangover.” Kazuki began to brush his teeth. The phone rang. Yuki reached over and answered it.
“Moshi moshi?”
“Kazuki-kun?”
“Eh? Iie…”
“Ne, Yuki—dare desuka?” Kazuki called from the bathroom.
“I don’t know. Who is this?”
“Kazuki no ojiisama. Who is this?” The voice asked coldly.
“Boku wa Yuki desu,” he replied, not knowing whether to be offended or not. “Kazuki, it’s someone who says he’s your prince.”
Kazuki stumbled out of the bathroom in his robe and jumped on Yuki for the phone.
“Itai! Kazuki, get off me!” Yuki yelled.
“Show some respect—whose room are you in anyway?” the guitarist returned. Yuki wiggled underneath him, trying to get out. “Moshi moshi?”
“Who is that?”
“That’s Yuki, my vocalist. He’s here because of an unfortunate—“ he stared down at Yuki, who flashed him an irrated look. “—pest problem in his room.”
“He’s not a pest,” Yuki protested.
“Did you sleep with him?”
“Would it make a difference to you if I had?” Kazuki asked, seriously, letting Yuki slide out from under him and settle at the other end of the bed. Please say yes, say you’re jealous enough to care!
“No.”
“Oh.” Kazuki felt his heart freeze. And decided that three years was enough.
“Are we still on for lunch today?” The other man asked, “Dai wants to go to a French restaurant. You’d have to dress nice.” Kazuki frowned. Dai. That brat. Kazuki pictured him in his mind. He was always getting his way, always flirting with his love, always taunting Kazuki. I can’t take it anymore.
“No.”
“Nani?”
“I said no.” Kazuki said, staring at his fingernails. “I won’t be able to make it. Not this week or next week. I’m very busy. Tell Dai I said hi.” Actually, you can tell him to politely go fuck himself but I’m sure he’d gladly do that if you were watching. He said silently.
“Nani? My Kazuki—too busy for me?” He teased.
Kazuki prevented his heart from rising with happiness and blushing at those words.
“Hai.” Kazuki said.
“I’ll be at your live tonight.”
“Oh.”
“Kazuki…you sound different, is there anything wrong?”
“Iie.” Kazuki sighed, “Not anymore.”
He hung up the phone and sighed again.
There’s nothing to believe in anymore, is there, Kazuki? He asked himself. No love for Yuki and none for you. There must be an imbalance in this world if Yuki and Hiro can’t be together. But if Kyo from Dir en grey can find someone…then maybe…or did she leave him? I have to ask Yukito. He turned over onto his back and stared up at the ceiling. But if Yukito and Yoshino call it quits I’m out of here!
There was a soft knock on the door. Kazuki’s eys flicked toward it irritably just as Yuki moaned. “I don’t like your room, Kazuki! It’s too loud.” He buried his face in his pillow.
Kazuki snorted, “You were the one who wanted to sleep here.”
The knock came again.
“Aren’t you going to answer it?”
“You’re the guest here—why don’t you do it?”
“Kazuki…” Yuki whined.
“Yuki…” Kazuki whined back.
“Jan ken pon you for it.” Yuki said, knowing Kazuki could be stubborn.
Kazuki turned, “’Kay.”
“Jan ken pon!”
“Ha!”
“Crap!!!” Kazuki gave Yuki a soft kick for good measure and Yuki whined pitifully.
“Kazuki, you’re so mean…”
He ignored him and made his way to the door. He opened it to find Hiro, staring at the floor, worried. “Hai?”
“Eto…”
“Nani?” Kazuki asked, leaning against the door.
“Kazuki-kun, don’t be mad.”
“That depends…what’d you do?” The guitarist asked bluntly.
“I-I’ve lost Yuki.”
Kazuki stared at him and tried not to laugh in his face. There was a moan from the bed and Yuki called out, “Kazuki, I’m going to use your bathroom.”
“Hai!” Kazuki called over his shoulder. “Just don’t use my toothbrush.”
Yuki made his way to the bathroom, without even looking at the door. “Ugh..trust me—after what you did this morning—I wouldn’t touch that crap with a ten meter pole.”
“Please, Yuki—like you’ve never had an exciting morning in the bathroom before.”
Yuki mumbled something back as the door closed. Kazuki turned back to Hiro, who had an unreadable expression on his face. “You mean he was here all night?”
“Mmhm.”
“Oh.”
“We didn’t do anything if you’re implying—“ Kazuki began.
“Oh, no!!” Hiro let go a sigh of relief that Kazuki caught but didn’t say anything about it. “No, no!! I’m just glad he’s safe.”
“Okay, then.”
“Yeah…eto…Ja!” Hiro walked away and Kazuki stared after him. He frowned and leaned against the doorframe.
“Hiro!” He called out.
The drummer turned, “Nani?”
Kazuki took a look at the bathroom, left the door open a crack and ran down the hall toward Hiro. “What’d you do to Yuki?”
Hiro bit his lip, “Nothing.”
“Liar,” Kazuki replied, quickly. “What did you tell him?”
Hiro took a deep breath, “What you told me to.” He replied, leaving a stunned (and slowly getting angry) Kazuki in the hall. The guitarist made sure the hall was empty then—
He kicked the wall, hard, “Fuck!!” He swore.
Yuki popped his head out of Kazuki’s hotel room, “Kazuki—daijyoubuka?”
Kazuki breathed a frustrated sigh, “Hai! Hai!” My work is never done. Mentally, Kazuki began to make up a daily to-do list. Ask Yukito about Kyo, move Yuki’s stuff into my room, talk to Hiro, reschedule soundcheck for Saturdays, cut back on the alcohol intake with Shinya and Die, mend two broken hearts…
What about yours? Something asked him.
Kazuki winced as he headed back toward the room.
It could damn well wait until everything else was figured out.
**********
Kazuki grabbed his guitar and began to play a song. He sat in the middle of the stage on the floor just as Yukito yelled out, “Konnichiwa, okaasan!!”
Kazuki frowned, “Okaasan?” He turned and gave Yukito a confused look. Everyone behind Yukito was cracking up. Yukito held his bass and sat next to Kazuki.
“You don’t remember, huh?”
“Obviously not.” Kazuki winced, “Alright, tell me the damage.” He placed a hand over his face and closed his eyes.
“Lessee…you said you hated your lack of a love life, you hit on Shinya, you called someone a bad name—“
“What was it specifically?” Kazuki asked.
“It was and I quote, ‘Ki-sama wa kisama desu.’”
Kazuki winced, “Well, it’s true.”
Yukito stared at him, “Are you serious? You sounded really smitten with that guy, you sounded like you would kill for him.”
Kazuki slowly nodded and swept a hand through his curls. He swallowed, “It’s over.” Suddenly, he began to cry and Yukito placed his bass aside and pulled Kazuki into a hug. The other man didn’t resist and continued crying.
Yukito held him. “Ne, ne…daijyoubu, Kazuki.” He whispered to him. “Does he know yet?”
Kazuki sobbed, “He—he wouldn’t care! I-I was just a toy. It took me three years but I finally figured out that I was toy. He has Dai. He’s so much more prettier than I….taller…has a nicer body…he gets his way all the time…gets kissed…probably gets fucked, too.”
Yukito held Kazuki tighter, “How the hell did you get involved with this kind of guy?”
“I don’t know. I guess I’m just an emotional masochist,” Kazuki pulled away and wiped his eyes with the heel of his palms. “Ne…what else happened?”
“You told me that I had nice legs.”
“You do.”
“Thankyou.” Yukito smirked. “Shinya carried you and then you said you were okaasan.”
Kazuki blinked, “If I’m okaasan, you’re otousan.”
“Why?”
“Because you’re happily married and the founder of this band.”
Yukito considered this, “Okay..Hiro is ii oniisan, what’s Yuki?”
Kazuki shrugged and gave a rather pathetic laugh, “A frog.”
“Nani?”
“Becaues he likes them so much and collects them…he kind of starts to remind you of a frog, don’t you think?”
“No.” Yukito began to laugh.
“Not just any frog, remember…He’s a purple frog. That likes to cook. And he cooks well.”
Yukito laughed harder, “You’re weird. You’re funny but you’re weird.”
“Oh…hey, did I tell you? Yuki’s fallen in love with Hiro but Hiro can’t accept it?”
“Nani?”
“Hai. Looks like I have my work cut out for me.” Kazuki ran a hand through his hair. He stared at it. “I have to cut my hair, too.” Yukito gave him a curious look. “I grew it out for that man. I’m going to cut it for me.” He frowned at it.
Yukito tried to get Kazuki’s mind off of that depressing subject, “There must be a serious imbalance in this world if Hiro and Yuki cannot be together.” Yukito said.
Kazuki nodded, “But—you know—I figured if Kyo from Dir en Grey can have a koibito then those two should be together. Do you know if they’re still together?”
Yukito frowned, “I don’t know. We could ask Shinya.”
“Ask him what?”
Both boys looked up to see Die staring down at them. “Die-san, is Kyo still with gir girl?” Kazuki asked, “What was her name? Ma…Makoto?”
Yukito shook his head, “Mana or something.”
“Manami.” Die supplied. They stared at him. “Her name was Manami.” He said in a gentler tone of voice. “Shinya’s … cousin.”
“Are they still together?”
Die shook his head, slowly and knelt, “She left a week before we started touring.”
“Dooshite na? She and Kyo were perfect for each other.”
Die bit his lip, “She was only visiting for awhile. She had to go home. Her…uh…parents—didn’t approve of her relationship with him.”
Kazuki frowned and stretched out across the floor. “Well—that’s it then!! Yuki and Hiro have a 50/50 chance and I will never be happy!”
“What’s up with him?”
“Band problems,” Yukito explained.
Kazuki pointed to the two of them, “But if you two call it quits with your relationships than I am out of here.”
“Kazuki?”
All three men looked toward Yuki who was standing at the edge of the stage avoiding Hiro, who was nervously biting his lip, trying to stay in Yuki’s vision. Kazuki rolled his eyes, stetched his neck and placed his head in his hands.
“And there’s two of them,” Yukito said, in a deadpan voice. Die grimaced. He patted Kazuki’s shoulder.
“Ne, you should take a break more often or else you’re going to drive yourself crazy like Kaoru.”
Kazuki moaned and raised his head wearily, “I did take a break, remember? I ended up hitting on your boyfriend.”
Yukito smiled, “That’s very nice of you, Die-san, but if you didn’t already know, Kazuki went crazy a long time ago.” Die laughed and Kazuki made a face at him, which made him laugh harder.
Kazuki couldn’t take offense.
Yukito was right after all.

Kazuki rolled his shoulders back, trying to get his muscles to relax. It was a tense practice. Yuki sang perfectly but instead of turning around to sing to Hiro, like he usually did (since they were close), he sang to Kazuki. Or Yukito. Or to an imaginary audience. It was okay.
But Kazuki could feel Hiro’s hot eyes on him. And he didn’t like it at all.
He was still tense. He frowned and smirked. “Yukito-kun?”
“Nani?” The bassist turned then froze when he heard the tone in Kazuki’s voice. “No, Kazuki—please…”
Kazuki pounced on him and Yukito fell to the floor under the guitarist’s weight. Kazuki began to purr, “Yukito-kun, can you do me a favor?” The bassist squirmed uncomfortably, but Kazuki refused to let go. “Give me a massage, onegai?”
“Ack! No! Why me?! Go ask Yasu or You or Toshiya or Yuki or someone!! Stop torturing me!!!”
Kazuki pouted and began to unbutton Yukito’s shirt. Yukito gave an irritated sign and began to button it back up. “No…I don’t want them to do it. They don’t know me the way you do. Only you know the spots that make me scream, only you know the way I like to be touched, the way I like to—“ A flash of annoyance crossed Yukito’s face as he reached up and put his hand over Kazuki’s mouth to shush him. Kazuki licked him and Yukito snatched his hand away but not fast enough. Kazuki grabbed Yukito’s hand. “And your long fingers are strong!!! What did Yoshino say? Musicians have the best hands?”
Yukito’s cheeks turned red as he blushed. “Shut up!!! No one’s supposed to know about that!!” Kazuki threw back his head and laughed. “You’re so shameless!! You don’t care who’s watching do you?”
Kazuki stared down at him, “Of course not.” He began to suck on each of Yukito’s fingers.
“Alright!! Alright!! Just get off of me!!!”
Kazuki did so, happily as Yukito sighed and moved behind Kazuki to massage his shoulders. He closed his eyes and let his head fall forward as he slowly began to relax. Yuki came and sat next to him and gave him a curious look. “Nani?” Kazuki asked, without opening his eyes.
“It’s Saturday, isn’t it?”
“Hai.”
“Don’t you usually run off at this time to have lunch at undisclosed place with undisclosed person?”
Yukito and Kazuki froze. Kazuki raised his head and stared at Yuki.
Yuki drew back. “Did I say something wrong?”
Yukito swallowed nervously and Kazuki sighed. “No.” He was about to say something rude but decided against it. Yukito began to massage Kazuki’s shoulders again and Kazuki closed his eyes and sighed.
“Ano…if you’re not busy…can I eat lunch with you guys?”
The two stopped and gave another look. “But don’t you usually—“ Yukito began and Kazuki hit him on the leg.
“Yeah, but…I don’t want to,” Yuki said, lowering his head to avoid Hiro’s gaze. “And I would go out with my best friend except he’s sick at the hotel. I don’t know what’s wrong with him.”
Kazuki nodded. He looked up at Hiro. “Ne, Hiro, do you want to eat lunch with us?” Yukito him in the back of the head with his arm and Yuki paled. Kazuki glared at Yukito.
“Gomen!” The bassist replied.
Kazuki didn’t believe him for one second.
Hiro shook his head. “No. I have to meet someone. I’ll see you later.” He left abruptly, without a backward glance.
“Well, it’s just us three then.” Yukito said.
The other two said nothing.
“Don’t you have that hair appointment, Kazuki?”
Kazuki nodded.
“Hair appointment?” Yuki asked.
“We’ll explain it to you later.” The other two replied.

“You look so different, Kazuki-kun…” Yuki said as they walked back to the auditorium.
Kazuki smiled and ran a hand through the bottom of his cropped bleached hair. “But don’t I look cute?” He smiled at a young girl who walked by. She giggled as he walked backwards, watching her. She turned around again and giggled again, when Kazuki’s smile widened and he winked at her. Yukito grabbed him and turned him around before he could trip over a crack in the pavement.
“You’re a lot more flirtatious,that’s for sure.”
Kazuki looked up and smiled at the sky. “You must exist wholly as my prisoner,” he said and then he laughed. “It sounds better now. It sounds like I mean it!!!!”
“What a difference a haircut makes,” Yuki said.
“You sure about this?” Yukito asked, his hands in his pocket. Kazuki ran a hand threw his hair and enjoyed the newness to it.
“Hai, otousan!” Yukito smiled as Kazuki skipped ahead of them and danced around a lamp post. “Boku wa oneisan!!”
“What happened to okaasan?”
“Would your mother skip and dance around a lamppost?” Kazuki asked with a glint in his eye. Yukito shook his head. “Exactly. Oneisan…”
-elsewhere-
Hiro had his chin on the table as he played with his glass. His friend, Midori, sat across from him and gave him a pitying look as they both sighed. She was one of his oldest friends and had known her since elementary school. She had always been pretty with long straight black hair with red highlights, pale skin and a beautiful smile. His friends had always been jealous that Hiro was so close to her and Midori once told him that her friends felt the same way about her being with him.
Midori, in fact, had been his first kiss.
And he “married” her when he was in kindergarten.
She had laughed when she read the interview where he had admitted that.
He looked up at her and smiled.
She shook her head, “Hiro, how can you be such an idiot?”
“I don’t know,” he said, helplessly.
“You knew he loved you!”
“Yeah…”
“And I know that you don’t think he’s ugly!! So that can’t be it!! In fact the other day, you and I were talking about this sort of thing and you kept mentioning him!! You love him!!!”
Hiro gave a whine and closed his eyes, “But Kazuki—“
“Kazuki didn’t tell you to go over and break his heart!!! In fact, didn’t he say that it was okay with him? That he’d let you two date?!!! Stop being an idiot!!! You brought this on yourself!! Go to him and apologize!!!”
“But he’s ignoring me!!!”
Midori gave Hiro a soft slap on the head, “God, you men can be such idiots!!! Especially when you’re in love. With another man!!! Baka!! I would be ignoring you, too, if you just conveniently tossed my feelings aside like that!!!”
“Demo…”
“Nani?”
Hiro sniffed and sat up, “I don’t want to…I…” he paused and Midori waited patiently for him to continue. He took a deep breath and met his friend’s eyes, “I don’t want this to be a repeat of last time.”
Midori smiled, gently and took Hiro’s hand, “That was a different person, sweetie. That was a long time ago. This is Yuki we’re talking about. He’s different. And now you’re different. He came to you for healing and somehow you could benefit from this as well. Just trust your heart this time, Hiro. I think it knows what it’s doing now.”
Hiro gave Midori a small smile. “I did like that look Sakito gave me when Yuki told him that I was his.”
Midori laughed, “It’s fun to torture people, isn’t it?”
They fell quiet until Hiro spoke up, “Ne, Mi-chan…”
“Nani?”
“Don’t you have anyone you love?”
Midori blushed, something that Hiro hadn’t seen her doing in a long time. “Nevermind about me…”
“C’mon, there has to be someone. You listen to me all the time and look at you, you’re blushing!!! C’mon…tell me…”
“Absolutely not!!” She laughed.
“Hey…I tell you—“
“That’s only because you can’t shut up!!!” Midori laughed again at Hiro’s expression and stopped, “I’m only kidding. And besides…I’m not in love with anyone.”
“Liar.”
She stuck her tongue out at him. “So, what are you going to do when you get back to the concert hall tonight?” She said, getting back to the original subject.
Hiro straightened. “I’m going to apologize to Yuki.”
“And?”
“And I’m going to tell him why I said what I said to him.”
“And?”
Hiro stared at her, “There’s more that I have to tell him? I don’t remember—“
“You have to tell him that you’re an idiot unless he beats you to it.”
Hiro’s jaw dropped, “No!!! You’re only saying that because you like calling me an idiot. But I’m sure he’ll beat me to it.” He moaned and dropped his chin to the table again. “What if he doesn’t want me anymore?”
“I don’t think that’ll happen. Yuki looks like the determined type.”
“I hope so. I hope so.” Hiro said.

“Yuki!! Hayaku!! We’re going on in less than three minutes!!!”
“Hai, hai!! I just have to make a phone call!!” Yuki hurried after the other three, as he punched in Tomo’s cell phone number. mon, Tomo-chan…please pick up!!
“Moshi moshi?”
“Tomo-chan!!”
“Yuki!!” Tomo replied, in the same manner, teasing him.
“Daijyoubka?”
“Of course!! Why wouldn’t I be?”
“Eto…it was just that yesterday, you—“
“That was yesterday! I’m quite fine now…genki na Tomo!!” he said rather proudly. Yuki smiled with relief. He was back to normal, sounding exactly like he usually did. “Ne…”
“Nani?”
“Are you sure you should be talking to me?” Tomo asked, “You’re about to perform in a minute!!”
Yuki looked at the clock, “K’so!!!”
“Watch your mouth, young man!!!” Tomo instructed.
Yuki giggled, “Hai, okaasan!!!”
“Yuki!!” Kazuki yelled and Yuki winced. “Hang that up now!! We’re going on!!!”
“Hai, oneisan!!!” Yuki called to him and said into the phone, “Ja ne, Tomo-chan?”
“Suki da!!” Tomo said, teasingly.
Yuki sighed, used to this and replied, “Daisuki…” since he knew that Tomo wouldn’t let him hang up if he didn’t say that. Past experiences made him wise.
Tomo giggled, “Ja!”
Yuki hung up and handed it to his manager and hurried on-stage after his bandmates.
He located Tomo after five minutes. He was right in the front, standing out since he was taller than the other girls, looked like a girl but was obviously a guy. Yuki smiled at him and sang to him, making the others around him look at him strangely. Tomo gave him a look and Yuki tried not to laugh. He gave Tomo a look that said, Let them think what they want.
Tomo shot a look at back at him that said, You’re getting as bad as me!!
Yuki smirked and as he sang moved over to Kazuki and hung on him as the guitarist played. Kazuki smiled at him and Yuki adjusted his arm around the guitarist and embraced him closer. Kazuki leaned back into him, trying not to lose his balance and Yuki made a face at Tomo. Tomo started laughing and Yuki let go of Kazuki, first giving him a kiss on the mouth.
The song ended and Kazuki began to introduce the members of the band. “Hi~! Raphael no guitar wa Kazuki desu!! Boku wa oneisan!!” Yuki and Yukito started laughing. “I used to be okaasan,” Kazuki explained.
“Then he got a hair cut.” Yukito explained.
“And he bleached it.” Yuki filled in.
“Ima wa—boku wa oneisan!!!” Kazuki posed and everybody started laughing. “Hai!! Bass no Yukito-kun wa otousan!!”
“Not by choice,” Yukito replied.
“Doramu no Hiro-kun wa ii oniisan!!!”
Hiro waved.
“If we’re a family, then you’ve just had an incestuous encounter with Yuki.” Yukito interrupted. Kazuki shrugged. Yuki frowned. He just noticed that Kazuki was avoiding a certain side of the stage. He didn’t even look at that side. His body was facing away from the side and in fact…
He had been mostly in the middle and on the right side.
“So? Yuki’s a good kisser. And I found him in my bed this morning.” He said and girls screamed at that. Tomo laughed at Yuki, who was blushing.
“Ne, Yuki-kun!! You said it wasn’t like that!!!” Hiro tossed in. Yuki bit his lip, wondering why Hiro was teasing him.
“Well, not entirely.” Yuki said.
“What do you mean?” Kazuki asked, with that mischievous glint in his eye. “I wake up, you’re in my bed.”
“You slept with him?” Yukito asked, pretending innocence.
“Yes.” Yuki said before he could even realize what he said and then slapped a hand to his mouth. Tomo laughed harder. “I mean—“
Kazuki laughed as the girls screamed again.
“Iie!! Mou…nan demo!!! Our next song is Ginyuushi no Namida!!” Yuki said before Kazuki could say anything else.
It was going to be one those of nights…

Kazuki had been humming a song ever since he got offstage. After he had passed the Dir en Grey dressing room that is.
“What are you humming?” Yuki asked.
“A song that Kyo sings often. He sings it very well. Ano…it’s called Yokan. Kind of describes the way I’m feeling right now. He always looks so sad when he sings it. Must be from his last relationship.”
“Nani?”
“He broke up with that girl that looked like Die.” Kazuki said and Yuki blinked. “Yeah, I know. They were cute together.”
Yuki nodded. An assistant came to the door. “Kazuki-kun?”
“Hai?”
“There’s someone who wants to see you. Oh, and Hiro-kun?”
“Hai?” Hiro sat up in his chair.
“There is also someone who wants to see you.”
Hiro nodded and got up with Kazuki but before going out the door, he stopped in front of Yuki. “Yuki-kun…” The vocalist didn’t reply. Only looked away. Hiro was about to walk away but decided that Midori would yell at him for a day if he chickened out. “Please look at me?” Yuki looked. “Gomenasai. For what I said yesterday. I’m an idiot…I’m really s.”
.”
“Hm.” Yuki said.
“Will you forgive me?”
“Hm.”
Hiro shifted uneasily. “We’re still friends, right?”
Yuki sighed, “Hai.”
Hiro smiled. “Arigato, Yuki-kun.” He was about to move to the door and then he paused, “Yuki-kun?”
“Hm?”
“Are we still going to share a room?”
“Iie.” Hiro felt his heart sink.
“Oh. Okay.”
He left to meet with his mystery person.
Kazuki walked behind the assistant as she led him toward the person, still humming Yokan. “Here he is.” The assistant told him.
“Doomo!”
“Dooitashimashite!” The assistant smiled and left. Kazuki looked up and his breath caught in his throat.
Dai stood there next to another man.
“Ki-samahe whe words were out of his mouth before he could stop them. Baka! He told himself. He’s not yours anymore…he was never yours in the first place…stop calling him that!!!
“Kazuki-kun, you look cute with that haircut of yours,” Dai told him as he ran a hand through his own long hair. Kazuki tried not to lose his temper. There was nothing he could do. He couldn’t rip Dai’s heart out—Dai was stronger than he was. And he knew damn well that Dai was rubbing it in his face. Ki-sama liked long hair. Not short.
“Arigato, Dai-san!” Kazuki said with a smile. He did look cute. And he wasn’t going to let that compliment turn into an insult. He ruffled his hair. “I get so many compliments about it!! I’m rather glad that I cut it!!”
“Kazuki…” Ki-sama said and Kazuki looked at him. “Didn’t I tell you we’d be here to see your show?”
“Hai.”
“Didn’t you see us? You usually play toward us.”
“Iie. Gomen…I couldn’t see you.” Kazuki lied. He knew exactly where they were and had been avoiding them all night.
“That boy.”
“What boy?” Kazuki asked.
“The one that answered the phone this morning. He’s your vocalist?”
“Hai.” Kazuki replied, wondering where this was getting at.
“Is it true?”
“It’s true that I slept with him.” Kazuki said, the mischievous side taking over in him. Let Ki-sama think what he wanted to. You love Dai anyway, I won’t be your slave any longer. Ki-sama nodded. Dai grinned at Kazuki, who only looked at him wearily. “I have to go. Is there anything else you wanted to talk to me about?” Stop torturing me and stay out of my life forever, okay? He silently added.
“No.”
“Okay.” Kazuki began to walk away just before Ki-sama called him.
“Kazuki?”
“Hai?”
“Is this how you say goodbye, now?”
Kazuki sighed. As if talking to him wasn’t torture enough…He wd bad back to him and was quickly met with an embrace that threatened to take his breath away. Kazuki closed his eyes anjoynjoyed the scent of his cologne for the last time. The older man bent his head and kissed Kazuki’s forehead. “Kazuki….”
Kazuki pulled away and smiled at him. “Sayonara.”
He walked away.
And didn’t look back.
Hiro met up with the assistant who led him to an empty corridor. “I don’t know where he went…hm…maybe he was in too much of a hurry to meet you…”
Hiro shook his head. “I’ll wait. He probably went to get a drink or something, waiting for me.”
The assistant looked at him doubtfully, “Okay…if you want to.” She smiled at him and left.
He waited for a minute and was about to leave when a familiar voice stopped him.
“Hiro….”
He froze and slowly turned, his heart turning into ice.
“Still beautiful. Hiro.”
He stood there. Dressed all in black. Pale as always. Beautiful eyes staring deep into his soul.
“Tomo….”
