A/N: Alas, thank you for reviewing Row, hahahaha. Well, here's some more writing. Let us see what happens in moving to Las Vegas :P
“Catrianna! We're running late as it is!” Jacquelyn Sinclair stood at the bottom of the staircase, tapping her foot impatiently waiting for her daughter to come downstairs. “Wait a minute will you?!” Catrianna had shouted from her room as she had been rummaging through her jewelery case, frantically searching out for the locket that Ryan had sent for their first month anniversary. The woman's eyes narrowed as she went up the stairs to find her daughter practically turning what was left of her bedroom upside down, tears glistening along the lashes. “Catrianna.” The girl had kept ransacking the room, not quite paying attention. “CATRIANNA!” the woman had snapped. Cat suddenly turned around, seeing her mother hold out the golden chain and locket. “It was sitting on your desk all along,” she finished patiently as she glanced around the partially empty room. Cat's cheek's blushed slightly as she reached for the necklace, expertly fastening it around her neck before tucking it under her shirt. “Right, then, we ought to get a move on.” Jacquelyn shook her head at her daughter's recently spastic behavior, though had the distinct feeling it had to do with this move, as it was quite a big step.
“Catrianna, are you alright?” she had asked when they had been finally in the car. Cat had been staring outside the window the entire time, not knowing the next time she would be in the country where she had been raised for entire twenty years of her life. In response to her mother's question, she nodded timidly as she bit her lower lip, almost in the verge of tears by now. It was almost sad at how tear-prone she really was. Fortunately, her mother had just been parking when she turned to see her daughter's almost frightened expression. Following the scene a couple months back, she had been forced to open her eyes to see that her daughter had truly become her own person. Taking this to heart, she had been working on not expecting this image of societal perfection in her daughter, though there were one or two disagreements here and there. As a wise person once said, 'old habits die hard.'
When they stepped out of the car, she stopped her daughter, surveying her for a moment. Eventually, she embraced her, though embracing had still been rather awkward between the two. She stepped back, clearing her throat to break this awkward silence. Cat cracked a small smile. “Mum, is that an attempt at compassion?” The woman raised an eyebrow, motioning for an attendant to get the baggage on a cart that the two could push so not to have to strain with lugging the baggage themselves. “Don't be silly Catrianna,” she had spoken curtly as she pretended to glance at her wristwatch. Cat laughed as the fireball of energy had caused her to nearly knock her mother over in an embrace, which nearly knocked them both over. “Do try to act like a proper lady when you are over there,” her mother had eventually said, smoothing out the crisp and clean business suit that she wore. Cat rolled her eyes at her mother's odd behavior as the two checked Cat in for her flight.
Moments later, they had reached that final security checkpoint, it had been time to make their goodbyes. Jonathan Sinclair had unfortunately been unable to take time away from work to see his daughter off, therefore that goodbye had been made the night before. Cat stared at the security checkpoint before glancing at her mother. “Well Mum this is t- Mum?” The instance she had gotten a good glimpse of her mother, she had seen those identical blue eyes sparkling with tears. The woman smiled faintly then shook her head. “Yes, my dear. Alas, I'm human. Today, I am a mother seeing her daughter off to a faraway place. The most I can hope is that you take care of yourself, and do try to show a bit of your proper upbringing.” She flipped a streak of black hair. She had bee moderately pleased that at this very instance, her daughter had only one hair color. Although, she knew within, that look would not last long, as she generally had changed her hair to the complete black when trying to contemplate the next outrageous color. Cat smiled ruefully at her mother as she embraced her. “I'll call when I get there, and I won't wander the streets at night,” she reassured her mother who merely nodded. “Then, this is it. Goodbye Catrianna.” Cat made a small awing sound as she noticed her mother fighting to maintain her proper demeanor. “Goodbye Mum,” she responded before she turned, walking through the checkpoint. In the plane, Cat stared out of the window as they took off, watching her homeland disappear into the distance. When land was ought of sight, she sighed, knowing that a new chapter to her life lay ahead. With this lasting thought, she had drifted to sleep.
Moments before Cat's arrival, Ryan and Becca had stood at the gate waiting for the girl to come through. Though, right as they were waiting, Ryan had gotten an important call, though he kept getting bad reception He gritted his teeth as he turned to Becca. “Becca, I'm going to have to find a spot with good reception. If she shows up, can you tell her that I'll be right there? Becca raised an eyebrow before finally nodding. “Try to hurry up will you? She'll be here any minute.” Ryan sighed as he then started walking off to find good reception. At last, he had found the reception and had been able to finish his call. When he had finished the call, he had turned around bumping into a girl that looked no older than fifteen, clad in a cheerleading uniform. “Sorry about that,” he told her with an apologetic smile. Though, the girl, being the typical cheerleader type immediately clapped a hand over her mouth upon recognizing him. “Oh-my-God... IT'S RYAN ROSS FROM PANIC! AT THE DISCO!!!” Ryan cringed as the girl had practically shouted this across a room. Suddenly, he wished he could disappear into thin air, when he noticed what looked to be four or five cheerleading squads running towards him in that typical fan girl behavior. Apparently there had to be some cheerleading competition in the area? Either way, it was an ambush of girls wanting pictures and autographs. Ryan had always been hesitant to say no as fan girl mobs intimidated him. Though, it was rare that he got caught on his own, so unfortunately, he was stuck for the time being.
People say that time seems to fly when someone falls asleep. In most cases, that turns out to be quite accurate. Catrianna had opened her eyes from her slumber when she heard the PA announcement to prepare for landing. Immediately, butterflies of excitement had started to flutter within as the plane began to descend down towards Las Vegas International. Once Cat had gotten off the terminal, this time she had found Becca standing at the gate. She frowned. Where was Ryan? Becca caught sight of Cat and hugged her friend before holding her at arm's length. “Your changed your hair again,” she commented with a smile, noticing that the girl's hair was at it's plain black state. This only meant one thing. “What outrageous color are you thinking of streaking your hair in this time?” Cat laughed as she shook her head. “Why does everyone think that every time I dye my hair black, I'm about to put in some wild colour in there?” Becca laughed, placing an arm around the girl. “Because we all know you well. Now, we ought to go on a manhunt for your Romeo. I don't think a business call would take this long.” They had wandered not far, when they noticed a crowd of people, mostly teens. Cat rose an eyebrow at this. “What is all this hype about?” she asked in confusion, never having witnessed any screaming fan moments. Becca rolled her eyes to the ceiling. “I think I know. Cat, hold onto me, else we'll lose one another in the crowd. Take my word for it.” Cat tilted her head before Becca pulled her into the middle of the mob. Now, if Cat had been claustrophobic, this would have been quite a bad predicament. Soon she heard some girl on the phone. “Oh my god, Ashley, guess who's at the airport and I'm staring right at him. RYRO!” Cat gulped as she saw how excited this girl had been. Just what would they do to her if they found out who she was.
Ryan had been going crazy as the crowd seemed to grow. He was getting to the point where writer's cramp was really killing. Not noticing Becca right away, he muttered something along the lines of, “You're wanting an autograph too?” Becca cleared her throat and thwapped him on the back of the head. “And why would I need an autograph from the likes of you?”Ryan jumped as he saw Becca standing there. “Becca! Oh god save me!” Fortunately, the crowd had been so loud, that only Becca could hear this plea. She smirked, watching him suffer for a moment. “Where's Cat?” Ryan asked, still in that automatic frenzy, seeing spots by now with the cameras flashing at every direction. “Hey, wait your turn!” a girl had suddenly snapped. “I'm not trying to get his autograph, I just want to get through.” The British air made it all so obvious, it was Cat. Becca searched and had finally spotted Cat's hand which she tugged to get her to face Ryan. “Ry! How do you turn them off?” she gasped, looking quite frightened at the crowd. Ryan's eyes lit up as he spotted Cat. He tried to move, but was instead grabbed by the shirt to where his sleeve tore off. “BECCA- HELP!” he suddenly shouted. Now, Becca had been good at policing crowds. It was in her nature to protect her boys. She stepped in front of the crowd, shielding Ryan. “OKAY, AUTOGRAPH TIME IS OVER! PLEASE KINDLY STEP AWAY, ELSE I'LL BE FORCED TO CALL SECURITY!” she barked, clearly making all freeze. Cat and Ryan cowered at her suddenly dominant demeanor, as the the rest of the crowd, which stepped away in a stunned silence. Becca then smiled sweetly. “Though, we all thank you for the support,” she finished as she then pushed Ryan towards an opening, which Cat quickly followed suit with.
When alone, Cat stared at Becca in disbelief. “Blimey, where did all that come from?” Becca laughed as the three ventured towards baggage claim. “I'm just a smidgen protective over my boys,” she added with a sheepish smile as she tweaked Ryan's cheek before noticing the torn sleeve. “Ry, part of your shirt is missing you know.” Ryan rolled his eyes at this. “Nooo you think!?” he commented back, voice dripping with sarcasm. Cat sighed as she pulled off the black hoodie she was wearing, handing it to Ryan. “Here, put this on for now, Love. That's quite a tear.” Ryan gave Cat a grateful smile, brushing his lips against hers as she got close enough to him. “I'm glad you're here to stay this time.” Cat blushed, though she returned the kiss. “Me too, Ry,” she murmured, gazing at him adoringly. It was Becca's clearing of her throat which had caught the attention of the two lovers. “Cat, is that a tattoo? When did this happen?” Ryan shook his head as he looked at Cat. “You didn't tell her, did you?” Cat shook her head. “Sorry, must have slipped my mind.” Ryan revealed his wrists. “Same day I had this done.” Becca made a small clicking noise with her tongue at this. “And yet you wait so long to tell me? Thanks, I love you too,” she teased, sticking her tongue out at Cat, who merely blew a raspberry in return of the favor. Then, both girls soon burst into giggles over their silliness. Ryan rolled his eyes. Oh no, these two would soon start to act like giddy girls all over again.
They soon arrived at Cat's new flat, which Ryan had been so kind to keep an eye out for the shipped material and had pretty much put things in their place. Cat pounced on him, knocking him over. “Oh Ry, that was so sweet!” she gushed, her eyes shining brightly as she then smiled at him. Ryan raised an eyebrow at Cat and then motioned her closer. “This is a good position for this.” In turn, he leaned towards Cat, kissing her. The two pulled away just to notice Becca doing snapping a picture with her phone. “Becca, what the hell are you doing?” Becca smiled angelically as she stepped away from the two. “Just sending this wonderful picture to the rest of the boys,” she said before she broke into a run after Cat started to chase her. Though, Becca knew her way around the flat more than Cat did, and Cat had run right into a wall, not seeing the hall was on the other end. Ryan cringed as he saw her shake the daze off. “I'm okay, no worries.” Ryan laughed as he left the girls to socialize a bit. Pretty soon, all had crashed, Ryan and Cat having fallen asleep curled together on the couch.
When Cat woke up, she woke up to seeing Brendon leaning his face right over them. “Aww, Jon, look at em. They're so cute.” Jon shook his head at Brendon. “I'm not going to get caught doing something I shouldn't. I'll be in the kitchen.” With this being said, he walked out. Soon enough, the British girl had started to stir. Cat rubbed her eyes blearily, surveying her surroundings. When she noticed Brendon, she punched him playfully on the arm. “Honestly, the nerve of sneaking up on a lady like that.” Brendon rubbed his arm as he raised an eyebrow in question. “But where's the lady?” Cat stuck her tongue out and made a playful pout, though their teasing exchanges stopped when they noticed that Ryan was still asleep.
Brendon got an idea as he sneaked around the couch. “Brendon,” Cat said warningly, getting up from her spot to walk behind Brendon, making sure he didn't do anything. Brendon crept closer anyways, though perhaps it would have been so much better if Cat remained where she was for this very reason. Ryan had started to stir, though eyes were still closed. He wound up reaching towards the person closest to him, thinking it had been Cat. In turn, he wound up kissing Brendon. “AHHH!” Brendon was clearly caught off guard as he backed away. Ryan sat up in his sleepy daze. “Huh? Wha...?” Brendon had been forcibly wiping his lips with the back of his hand. “Sorry Ry, you're not really my type,” he muttered. Cat had been rolling on the ground in laughter at this. Ryan raised his eyebrows as he stared at Cat, and how far she had been from the couch. “And why the Hell did you move?” Cat continued to laugh, the tears rolling down her cheeks. “Trying to protect you.” Ryan shook his head at this as he helped his girlfriend to her feet. “Brendon kissing me isn't what I call protection.”
“Who kissed who?” Jon came back, carrying a bowl of cereal, which he had been munching on. Ryan and Brendon stared at each other, then involuntarily shuddered. Jon was quick to catch on. “Damn Bren, it's about time you come out in the open you know. Took you long enough.” Brendon shook his head, muttering a trail of explicate words as he pushed past Spencer and Becca who were now coming out of the kitchen. Becca stared at him curiously before she turned to the rest. “What's wrong with him?” Jon smirked as he was eating his cereal. “Not much. You missed out on Ry doing some serious lip locking. And it wasn't with Cat either.” Ryan shook his head as he got up to go to the kitchen. “Just drop it, will you?” he grumbled as he headed to the kitchen to get some food. “Woah! Looks like Ry is going for some more!” Jon called. Ryan flipped him off before clattering was heard in the kitchen. Spencer then broke the silence. “So, how about them Mets.” Cat rolled her eyes at this. “Baseball, a ruddy pointless sport if you ask me,” she muttered, heading to the kitchen herself. All in all, that was a morning which had everyone laughing, everyone but Ryan and Brendon, that is.
Afternoon came, then early evening. Everyone was crowded around the TV, watching a movie when the mention of movie munchies came to topic, though the boys were supposed to be ought of sight these days, as they had still be working in and out of the cabin. Begging eyes for food fell on the girls. Cat sighed, getting to her feet. “Very well, I was wanting to explore my surroundings a bit anyways. I believe I spotted a gas station just a block away. Becca, care to join me? We could escape the boys a little. Becca jumped at this chance, and had went to grab her purse. After a bit of a search, Cat had found her own handbag, and the two were off.
They had gone to get the movie munchies and had been on their way back, in their own train of conversation. Perhaps this explained their lack of observing surroundings. Out of nowhere, Cat suddenly shouted. “Becca!” Immediately, Becca was pushed forward and out of the middle of the street. A mere second later, there had been the sound of an impact against a car, and the screeching halt of the car braking. Becca turned in horror to find Cat knocked to the ground, and a dent on a silver BMW. The owner of the car then opened the door, stumbling out, clearly intoxicated. Becca narrowed her eyes as her lips curled in malice discontent. “You...” she growled, looking positively livid as she had stared directly into the gaze of Ryan's ex girlfriend, Amber....
