A/N: Okay, so here's a new chapter for my long-suffering lovelies. Deepest apologies. School got crazy, and my plot bunnies seemed to be in hibernation. But hopefully they're back *crosses fingers*. And hopefully I'll be able to get a bundle of chapters I wrote over the summer posted within a few more chapters that I still have to write. So hope you guys enjoy! *hugs*

Rebecca laughed as she sat around a booth with Ryan, Cat, Joe, Sophia, and Patrick. Pete had told her about this club, after a little coercion earlier today, and they had decided to check it out, at the very least it would be discrete, and they could all use that. As far as Becca could tell, Joe and Sophia were actually having what appeared to be a decent time together. Perhaps she wasn’t so bad if she was more like this than the snooty personality from before.
“Come on, Becca, let’s show these boys how it’s done. We can have them so hot they won’t be able to keep their hands to themselves by the time we’re done with them.” Cat stood holding her hand out to Becca with a smirk on her face, mischief obviously on her mind.
“Sounds like fun. Shall we?” Becca stood laughing as she took Cat’s hand before walking out to the dancefloor with a grin. She knew that things were going to be fun with Cat, and she couldn’t resist playing along. After all, it wasn’t every day that she was able to joke around and have fun with her friends.
When the two girls reached the dancefloor, they started playfully dancing seductively with each other. Given that they were both quite happily taken by the guys in the booth, it was amusing to say the least. Apparently their dancing had garnered some attention aside from the boys at the table, as another guy walked up to them (quite obviously drunk) and tried to cut in and dance with them.
Becca gave the guy a polite smile and leaned up enough to where he could hear her over the loud music. “Sorry darling, but we’re both very happily taken by very influential guys. Thanks for the dance though.” She giggled and playfully left a light kiss on the stranger’s cheek.
“Becca, what were you thinking in doing that? The guy could have been some creepy sexual predator or such.” Cat seemed seriously a little panicked as they headed back to the booth where the guys were sitting. “Trick, did you see what Becca just did? I swear she has a death wish or something.”
Patrick laughed at Cat’s mothering tirade, knowing that it was all because she was just genuinely worried about Becca. He merely shook his head with a grin before wrapping an arm around Becca’s shoulders. “Don’t worry about Becca, Cat. I’ll just have to keep her on a much shorter leash from now on, mustn’t I?” Patrick winked at Cat before turning back to Becca with a grin.
“Oh no you don’t, Mr. Stumph. You are not going to try to play all macho in front of them just so you can make yourself look good. Besides, I’m sure they all know that I’m the one who really runs this relationship. Don’t you think, Cat?” Becca turned to Cat with a grin, as both Ryan and Cat seemed to be stifling their laughter at the banter.
“Right, Beccadill. But then again, you have to give some credit to your friends and family for your relationship. Because without us, you and Patrick would probably still be denying any feelings towards each other, rather than insanely happy and planning your wedding.” Joe grinned before leaning over to Sophia. “You should have seen those two. It was cute, yeah. But annoying as hell sometimes. Anytime they were in the same room they would blush like crazy and give each other lovey eyes. But would they ever do anything about it? Of course not. Thus we had to give them the push to get them to do something about it.”
Becca tossed a peanut at Joe with a playful scowl. “I did not give ‘lovey eyes’ Joe-Joe. So stop telling lies about me. Besides, of course I wouldn’t do anything about the relationship, I’m the girl. It’s not proper.”
Ryan and Cat started laughing so hard, that Becca thought they might fall off the booth. Becca glared at them as they just kept laughing. Sophia started to giggle as well, causing Becca to dramatically cross her arms over her chest before turning to Patrick with a frown. “Are you not going to say anything?”
Patrick shook his head with a grin, barely able to keep from laughing himself. “Sorry Becca. I think Joe might have won that argument. Perhaps it’s best to just call secession? At least until you can get him back at another time. Like how about the fact that he seems to be almost desperate for a girl now that it seems most of the rest of us are getting in relationships? Some of those girls that your brother has suggested – I wouldn’t even suggest to my worst enemies.”
Becca giggled as Patrick mentioned the fact of Joe going on all the blind dates from her brother. Sophia turned to look at Joe with a smirk on her face at the mention of going on horrid blind dates. “Oh really, Mr. Trohman? And just why would you do that? Going on dates with less than appealing ladies? That hardly sounds like sane actions.”
Cat snorted at Sophia’s comment, causing everyone else at the table to laugh. Becca caught the smirk that Cat sent her way, and it was all Becca could do to keep from laughing even harder. If Sophia only knew the entire truth of the matter. “Well, if you think our Joe-Joe is sane, you’re highly mistaken. I think he’s as far from sane as a person can get. But then again, who’s really sane in this world anyways? Particularly in the circles we go in.”
“Oh, I know he’s not sane. But then again, sanity is so boring these days. Don’t you agree?” Sophia grinned before reaching up and giving Joe’s cheek a pat. He seemed not to mind, at least outwardly, but the other girls just burst out laughing again.
Ryan and Patrick looked at each other as if trying to figure out what was wrong with the girls. Ryan laughed before shrugging and pulling away the drink from Cat with a smile. “Perhaps that’s enough for tonight, Kitten.” He wasn’t fond of Cat drinking, and she had only had one drink, knowing his dislike for alcohol. But Ryan was definitely thinking that the girls were having a bit too much fun because of the drinks.
Becca giggled even more at Ryan’s reaction to their laughter, which caused Patrick to raise an eyebrow with a bit of a smirk. “Becca, are you okay?” Patrick copied Ryan’s movements and pulled Becca’s drink away as well, although neither girl seemed to notice or mind. “I think we’re cutting you girls off for the night.”
Sophia smirked, with a bit of a trace of malice again. “Oh yes, we would hate for them to cause a scene while in public wouldn’t we? And normally Catrianna has a fair tolerance. I wouldn’t know about Becky though.”
Even Joe flinched at the nickname, having been one of the people to know Aiden when Becca was dating him. Becca shook her head for a moment. And Sophia was doing good at seeming humane. Perhaps it was just a momentary lapse of personality on her part. But whatever the reasoning, she had just gotten another large strike against her.
Cat stood and gave Becca a look that they had long since learned was a type of code for them to escape to the restroom for whatever reasons. And Becca guessed that this time it would be to fuss over the demonic cousin. She gave the slightest of nods before leaning up to whisper in Patrick’s ear. “Cat and I are going to escape for a second. Think you and Ryan can keep sane while we’re gone?”
Patrick nodded and gave her a light squeeze around his shoulders before Cat and Becca stood, heading towards the restroom. Typical girls meeting between the two, of course. But then again, they had a habit of meeting up in restrooms, didn’t they?
As Cat and Becca walked off, Sophia turned to the boys with a smile. “Oh, I hope I didn’t offend them. It was only a harmless comment, after all.” And just as she had planned, Joe merely shook his head before giving her shoulders a light squeeze.
“No, don’t worry about them. Probably just going off to be sick in the toilets, or sneaking off to get more drinks. But how about you giving me a dance? Let these two boys have their wait for the girls on their own.” Joe grinned as he stood and pulled Sophia to her feet as well and out to the dancefloor.

A/N Pt2: Okay, so forgive the crappiness of the ending, my heart wasn't in it, and I got distracted by the perils of youtube. :)
