I wanna save you

I find myself at the side of the stage getting ready to play
"Where were you?" Zoe ask
"Huh?" i realize she isn't talking to me
"I was looking all over for you." she says to Lexie
"Oh i was talking to some of the other bands and walking around."
"We need to finish that conversation later." she tells Lexie
"Yeah i know."
"What conversation?"
"Are you guys ready?" Lexie ask ignoring me
"Yeah." zoe says i nod in agreement
"Ok." we head out on to the stage and i grab my guitar

"What's up warped tour?!" i ask the crowd screams and i can't help but smile. It seems like THIS is all i have. I began to play the chords on my guitar and for that half hour there is only me, my guitar and the crowd. David doesn't exist, my best friends aren't mad at me and Dan isn't running through my thoughts. For that half hour i feel alive its the best feeling in the world. Suddenly the set ends and i head back into reality Dan is standing on the side of the stage he doesn't even look at me.

Story of the year came on right after us i watched their set and then i walked back to the bus. Lexie and Zoe weren't there i had no idea what they were talking about earlier but they made it sound like it was something bad. David is on the bus he sees me and stands up.

"Miranda, i am really sorry." i don't look him in the eyes he lifts my head up
"I love you so much.....Please don't be mad." he opens his hand and i see he is holding a bracelet
"Look it says David and Miranda always and forever." he shows me the inside i look away and see Dan passing by
"This doesn't fix things you can't just buy me gifts."
"I know, i just get so mad when i see you talking to him."
"That doesn't make it ok for you to hit me."
"I know and..."
"I can't do this anymore."
"do what?"
"be with you. I won't let you hit my anymore, i don't need bruises or gifts to make up for it. I'm sick of lying to my friends i won't be pushed around anymore."
"Please don't do this to us."
"Why? i've given you everything for 2 years and all you do is hurt me.....i'm done." he looks sad then the sadness fades away.
"You're done?!" he shouts
"Yeah."
"You stupid bitch! without me you have nobody! nobody will ever love you. You're ugly and you're a whore!" he comes close and i back away knowing he is going to hit me

"You're going to beg me to come back to you just like before!" i remember last year when he first stared drinking a lot i said i didn't want to see him anymore and we didn't talk then a week later i practically begged him to come back to me i realize he is still yelling at me
"Do you hear me?! you're nothing!"
"Me? look at you! you don't have a job, no car, you're family hates you....you're a fucking slacker! i was all you had." i had no idea where that came from
"Don't flatter yourself i had a bunch of other girls begging me to be with them."
"Oh yeah cuz you're such a man." he raises his hand and smacks me in the head
"Oh does that feel good? do you feel better knowing you hit me?!"
"You bet it does you fucking bitch!" he punches my lip that is it....that's the final straw i punch his face, he punches me back and pushes me i fall to the floor.
"Nobody will ever love you!" he starts kicking me over and over i curl up in a Ball on the floor he moves my hands and starts punching me. In the head, stomach, face anywhere i beg him to stop but that only makes him mad.I'm defenseless and it seems like this is never going to stop, he's not going to finish until i'm dead. Then i hear somebody open the bus door i think its Zoe or Lexie and i hope that he'll stop.

"What the fuck?!" i hear a guys voice
"This isn't any of your business." David tells him
"Yeah it is." I see that its Dan he pushes David away from me and starts punching him. They began to punch each other Dan is obviously overpowering David backs away toward the door and Dan pushes him off the bus. I see them outside Davids on the floor and Dan is kicking him some guys pull him away
"Don't you ever touch her again!" he says before coming back on the bus
