Note: I'm actually not sure what actually happened to his father and mother (It's an aspect of the Gorillaz plotline that I haven't paid detailed attention to), but for the sake of this fic let's pretend they both died a few years prior. (Same note will be repeated for next chapter) My brain is starting to fail. I Hope this chapter doesn't suck. XD

Chapter 8: Couch
--..--..--
A month had passed since Murdoc's near death experience. The days were getting shorter, chillier and it seemed to be raining more often. Summer was dying and autumn was breathing a new life into the air as the warmth faded away. This was 2D's favourite time of year because it gave him an excuse to cuddle up to someone for warmth if he happened to be outside. He was sneaky like that.
Life at Kong Studios resumed somewhat normally. 2D and Murdoc were more open with their flirting with each other, not bothering to stop if Russel or Noodle came into the room. At first this caused from tension between Murdoc and Russel, who felt that Noodle shouldn't have to watch them shove tongues down each other throats, but Noodle had explained to her large friend that it didn't bother her. They were happy and that was all that mattered.
It was a particularly boring day. Russel's parents had come for a visit and he was showing them around the local cities. Murdoc was rather pleased at the fact that he would be gone for a few days at a hotel. (Russel didn't want his mother to see his um...less-than-clean place of living. She would surely give him hell for it. Ah...parents!) He wouldn't have to worry about the drummer breathing down his neck.
"We can screw all over the place!" He announced. The 2 remaining boys were plopped down on the couch, relishing in the slow day. 2D sat on one end while Murdoc was practically sprawled out on his back on the rest of it, with his legs nearly on 2D’s lap.
"Russel's gone, but Noodle is still here. I don't know about you, but I don't want to give her nightmares." 2D flipped though channels trying to find something interesting to watch. He settled on a documentary on some serial killer in the US.
"We need to do more kinky shit." He bassist scratched his chin in thought.
"What's your definition of kinky?" 2D raised an eyebrow worriedly. In his definition, kinky involved bondage or some other form of sexual play that would only give him pain.
"Different from the usual, I suppose. Like when he fucked on the hospital bed."
2D gave a sigh of relief.
"Yeah....I liked that. Not just the location but....” The singer trailed off.
"Huh?" Murdoc's foot gave him a nudge to keep talking.
"I liked getting to face you."
"Eh? Why?"
"I dunno...I just felt..."
"Equal?"
2D turned his face to give him a questioning look. Murdoc laughed.
"You know, that evening before the hospital bit Noodle and I were in the bathroom talking. And she asked about the stuff that we do sexually. So I told her and she made a few suggestions." Murdoc sat up enough to grab 2D and pull him into a straddling position on his hips.
"Murdoc, why are you doing this?" 2D said, referring to the whole equal thing (Though his mind was currently also freaking out about the idea of Murdoc discussing their sex lives with Noodle!)
"Doing what?"
"Why are you trying to please me?" 2D instinctively began rocking hi hips slight, feeling a bit uncomfortable in his current position.
"Christ, I do something nice for a change and all you do is complain about it." The bassist growled, though he too began a gentle rocking of his hips.
"Murdoc...we..." 2D began to pant. “We can't do this here...Noodle could-"
"That makes it kinky, does it?" Murdoc cut him off and grinned wildly.
"I'm serious, Murdoc. She could come in any minute!"
"Then we'll make it a quickie." Murdoc was already unbuckling his belt. He had a look in his eyes that made 2D shiver. He knew that nothing he could do or say would get him out of this. So he gave an overdramatic sigh of defeat and sat up on his knees to unbuckle his pants and pull them down.
As usual, there was no time for lubrication (no time or just laziness) and 2D held dead still for several moments before finally moving.
Murdoc pull his lover's head down for a forceful kiss
"You know," the bassist said as he pulled back slightly. "I love this position because then I don't have to do any of the work."
2D should have wanted to frown at this comment, but he just grinned and chuckled softly. He realized that he had the control. He had the power. And he loved that thought so very much.
He slowed down, almost stopping. Murdoc gave the singer's ass a hard slap and he shifted his hips to try and get some extra movement.
"Stop teasing and get on with it!"
"Beg me."
"Fuck you."
"Beg me!"
2D had completely stopped and was using his weight to prevent Murdoc from thrusting upwards. Finally, Murdoc got desperate, but instead of giving into the other's demands, he pulled his head down and he sunk his teeth into 2D's neck.
He screamed and moved around wildly to try and escape the grip on his neck which indirectly caused stimulation to Murdoc's cock.
A few more thrusts and Murdoc came, giving his usual pleasured grunt. He finally let go of 2d's neck, which was a deep red and had deep teeth marks but thankfully wasn't bleeding.
"Why'd the fuck did you have to do that for?" 2D got up, no longer feeling the need to his own release, just feeling pain on his neck.
"I don't beg." Came Murdoc's reply as he zipped up his pants and gave a stretch. 2D just pouted.
"I'm gonna go get my painkillers. I'm getting a headache." 2D wobbly stood up and walked out of the room.
He got his painkillers but realized his throat was too dry to swallow them without water. So he made his way to the kitchen, where he found Noodle sitting at the table reading a book. She took one look at him and he eyes went wide.
"What happened to your neck?"
"This? Oh...it's um...a love bite I suppose."
Her brows furrowed.
"Hey, why don't you come join us and watch some television?" The singer popped 2 pills in his mouth and took a huge gulp of water.
"I thought I would give you two 'alone time'." She said as she went back to her book.
"I think I've had plenty of that. Come on. Please?"
She looked back at him and he was giving her puppy eyes. She smiled and sighed.
"Alright."
He smiled happily, grabbed her hand to practically drag her back to the designated living room.
Murdoc was smoking a cigarette, still lying on his back on the couch. 2D made a coughing sound and the older man looked up.
"Brought a friend, have you? I'm sorry 2D, but she's a little too young to join us." Murdoc laughed when Noodle blushed. He just felt like being an ass.
"Anything good on?" 2D asked, changing the subject. He motioned for Murdoc to move (who reluctantly did so) and he sat down in the same spot he had been sitting earlier. Noodle sat next to him.
Several hours went by and 2D grinned at Noodle as he watched her head slowly sink forward only to shoot back up. She was tried but she wanted to stay awake. She liked spending time with both 2D and Murdoc. They had talked about lots of interesting things. Thankfully, nothing too perverse. It was just like the old conversations on the roof with 2D, except Murdoc was joining in.
"You better get her to bed, Stu." Murdoc gave a stretch and search for the remote, muttering to himself about the difficult task.
"Come on, Luv." 2D said softly. Noodle made a whine of protest before her band-mate picked her up gently. She let out a sigh.
"I don't want to go to bed." She complained sleepily.
"Shhh....” 2D's voice cooed. “Muds, I think I'll be going to bed too. See ya in the morning." Murdoc just raised a hand in the air as a goodbye since he was still busy searching for that damned remote.
The usually weak boy was able to carry the guitarist back to her room. He placed her on her bed and ran fingers though her hair before whispering goodnight and moving to leave. As he got up, he felt something tugging on his pant leg. He turned around to see Noodle staring at him with pleading eyes.
"I....I don't want to be alone." Noodle whimpered. She had no idea where the comment had come from, but all she knew is that she wanted 2D to stay with her. He loved Murdoc. That fact was well known within the band. But she loved 2D and even though she was still unsure as to what kind of love she truly felt for him, his presence made her happy. And when she was happy, she didn't worry about how she loved him.
2D gave her a smile but said nothing. Instead, he slipped his hand under her covers to stroke her back soothingly as he sat on the edge of her bed. She smiled as she closed her eyes. His touch felt nice. Soothing.
"Noodle?" He leaned forward as her head twitched. She had almost fallen asleep and it was quite annoying to be brought out of that state.
"Yes, 2D?"
"Thank you." He said. And she knew exactly what he was talking about.
Noodle awoke from a dreamless sleep the next morning. Sitting up, she gave a stretch and nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt something squirm next to her. 2D was there, curled up on his side facing away from her and snoring so softly it sounded like purring.
She blinked for several moments as the initial adrenaline of fear and confusion of finding a man in her bed subsided. Now, she was feeling quite playful. A wicked grin spread across her face.
Poke.
No movement.
Poke poke.
A groan.
Poke poke poke poke poke poke poke.
A mumble of something that was not understandable.
JAB.
"OW!" 2D jumped awake and rubbed his pained side. "What the...?" He rolled over to see Noodle smiling innocently at him.
"Morning!" She beamed. 2D raised an eyebrow at her as he rubbed his eyes.
"What time is it?" He asked. She crawled over him to grab a small watch off her nightstand, which ad the local time on it.
"8:31am" She stated. He groaned again.
Suddenly there was a loud thumping heard from outside and then Murdoc, clad in only pants, barged into the room.
"I thought I'd find you in here, dullard" He said in a somewhat amused tone, grinning.
"Murdoc!" Noodle screamed and hid under the covers. She was wearing the same clothing she had been last night, but the shame came on as an automatic reaction.
"Awww, isn't she darling?" The bassist cackled.
"Murdoc, you shouldn't be in her room." 2D frowned as he realized the distress his lover was putting Noodle in.
"You shouldn't be in her bed." Murdoc replied, still with a stupid grin in his face. He was very much amused by the whole scene.
"Stu, maybe you should...uh...go and make breakfast. With Murdoc. Downstairs." a meek voice said, muffled by the blankets.
"But I'm not hungry." 2D pouted, still wanting nothing more than to just go back to sleep. Noodle replied by giving the sleepy singer a huge shove and he landed on the floor with a thud. She hadn't even come out of the covers to do it.
"I think she's means 'Get out', Dullard."
"You too!" Noodle finally reappeared from under her blanket, hair a mess, and a cute little fake-pout on her lips.
"Alright, alright. Come on, Stu-pot!" Murdoc laughed again and watch 2D scramble to stand up. The singer wobbly made his way out of the room, nearly having to cling into Murdoc for balance.
The door closed and Noodle gave a sigh. It was just getting a bit awkward for her with both of them in there. She giggled slightly about it though as she brushed her hair and searched for a clean outfit to wear. She hoped 2D didn't hurt too much from her poking him and shoving him off the bed.
"So what are you doing up this early, anyway?" 2D pulled on a fresh new pair of pants and dug around a pile of clean laundry for a shirt. Murdoc lay on the singer's bed, arms resting behind his head.
"I need to go somewhere today." He said simply.
"Where?"
"None of your business."
2D had heard that line before minding his own business had led to his friend nearly dying. But he was also too afraid to challenge the dominant male.
"I see." 2D replied. Murdoc sighed.
"I'm going to my parent's grave." He confessed. He looked at 2D whose mouth was gaping open in shock.
"Why?" 2D asked.
"Look, I just want to. Now drop it!" Murdoc snarled and sat up, looking as though he was about to storm out. 2D pouted in apology.
He wasn't questioning the fact that Murdoc wanted to visit his parents. But the bassist never spoke of them at all. 2D had always wondered if he missed them but felt it was never appropriate to ask.
"Getting so close to death makes you think about things." Was all that Murdoc offered as an explanation.
2D was dressed and once again just sitting on the couch flipping through channels. Murdoc had left after their earlier conversation, but to the singer's surprise the older man appeared in the doorway, with a beer in hand, and sat on the couch next to him. 2D stared at him questioningly.
"I thought you were..."
"Hey, when's Russ getting back?” He cut the young man off.
"He said his parents are leaving tomorrow night. So he'll be back by then. Why?" 2D was confused. Why did Murdoc suddenly care about Russel coming home? And why was he back so early? It would take a couple hours to get there he figured, plus he would surely be there for another couple hours...2D was thoroughly confused.
A silent and thoughtful pause from Murdoc.
"You up for a little road trip?"
