Nikki’s POV
The ride back to the hotel with Ley was quiet, but she knew I wasn’t in the mood for talking right now. My dad had never reacted to me like that and I just couldn’t handle that fact right now. So sue me, I’m a daddy’s girl and I wasn’t used to being yelled at, not by him of all people. When we got to the hotel, I parked the car and got out, still not saying anything to Ley just yet. Getting my shopping bags out of the back, I walked into the hotel and went upstairs to our room; the sooner I was inside, the better.
Ley unlocked the door and pushed it open, both of us walking inside and closing the door behind us. Putting my stuff down on the bed, I looked over at Ley and sighed a bit, “I’m sorry about all that back there, Ley.” She just smiled and shook her head a little, “Don’t worry about it Nik, its ok. We have a show to get to, so let’s get ready to go.” That was my Ley as usual; she never really held anything against me and would always try and make me feel better when I was down.
Smiling over to her, I picked up my clothes for the night and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind me. I should have been changing into my ring gear, but I had decided not to just yet. My outfit of choice was a black mini dress that I’d picked out a few months ago in New York. Pulling my jeans and top off, I reached back and took off the bra I was wearing. Pulling the dress on over my head, I tugged it down into place and then looked in the mirror.
I had to admit, it looked amazing on me and I was proud of that fact, I always was when I looked good in something. Slipping my pink heels off, I replaced them with a pair of black ones that I’d bought a couple days ago. Deciding to leave my hair down for the time being, I threaded my fingers through it a few times. When it was to where I thought it would do for a while, I checked myself in the mirror one more time to make sure that I was completely ready. Not that I had anyone to impress at the arena, but I still wanted to look good tonight.
Walking out of the bathroom, I looked over at Ley who was grinning at me when she saw what I was wearing. “Wow, did I miss the memo about you having a hot date tonight?” She asked as she looked me over a few times, still grinning at the prospect of me having a secret guy. “Nope, no date, I’m changing at the arena. I want to look nice when I get there tonight.” I said to her as I smiled and started getting my small travel bag ready to take to the arena with me. “You ready to get to the show tonight then?” Ley asked as she started to get her things together as well.
“I’m always ready to go to work, Ley.” I said back to her with a smile, putting my knee and elbow pads into my bag. “Good, so who’s on the card against you tonight anyway?” Ley asked as she finished getting her things together and then put her bag over her shoulder. “I get to play with Maryese tonight; I’ve been looking forward to it.” I said with a grin, everyone knew that I’d been waiting to get my hands on Maryese for months now. Ley also knew better than anyone that I wanted to beat the woman’s head in for being the way she was, I couldn’t stand her.
“Did you go pout to Vince about that one? I know you’ve been dying to get your hands on her for ages now.” She said to me and I turned, putting my back on my shoulder before smiling at her, “Of course I went and pouted to Grandpa Vince, he loves me dearly you know.” She knew all about my pouting habits, but she never said anything about them at all. Most of the time I was doing both of us a favor when I went and pouted about something, that’s why she was one of my best friends, I always thought of her and not just myself.
“I’m sure you will have fun bouncing her head off of anything and everything you see fit.” Ley said as she grinned and then opened the door to our hotel room, coming face to face with our fathers. I think I missed something, what were they both doing here? “Hey Daddy, what’s up?” She asked Kevin with a smile, trying to figure out what was going on. “Paul is going to drive you to the arena, I’m driving Jasmine.” I almost gave myself whiplash as I looked over at Kevin, my eyes borderline wide. I was going to die; there was no doubt about it.
I wanted to yell at Ley to help me, but that would be much too obvious if I did that, so I was quiet. She turned and looked back at me and smiled a bit, I returned it and gave her a light wave. Watching her and my Dad walk away, I was left with the man of my affection and the one man I didn’t want to be alone with. Shifting a bit, I adjusted my back on my shoulder and looked over at him. “So umm…to the arena then?” I asked, hoping that he would say yes and that the ride would be quick.
Kevin nodded and I walked over, stepping out into the hall with him, closing the door behind me as I did. It was quiet as we walked down the hallway toward the stairs, I wanted to go back to my room and hide though. Somehow, I made it down the stairs and to the parking lot without making an idiot of myself. I started walking toward the car, but Kevin took my arm and steered me away from the car. Damn and I’d hoped I could drive the car and get out of riding with him.
He led me over to his ride of choice and I swear to you, I almost died on the spot I stopped at. In front of me was a very nice, very expensive motorcycle, a Harley to be exact, and it looked custom. Here I was in a mini dress and Kevin wanted me to hop on his motorcycle for a ride. I was really about to die, no joke, and he didn’t even seem to mind or notice my problem. Stepping around me, he swung one of his legs over and sat down, causing me to almost stare.
I hated how good he looked on that motorcycle, because it was near to making my mouth water. Reaching out, he took the bag from me and put it inside the carrier bag on his motorcycle before casting me a grin. Oh don’t you look at me like that, not when you look that damn good Kevin Nash. I started to say something, but his big hand took my small one and he pulled me forward. Barely keeping my balance, I pulled my hand away and looked at him, “I can’t ride this in a dress, Kevin.”
“You can’t or you won’t?” He asked as he put the kickstand up and then started the bike up, the sound making me shiver. Damn but I had a thing for motorcycles when they sounded that good. Biting my lower lip, I reached out a put a hand on his shoulder before swinging one of my legs over the motorcycle behind him. He handed me a helmet and I put it on, fastening it good before I slid close to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. Kevin put his helmet on and then looked at me over his shoulder, lifting my feet up and placing them on two smaller metal pieces made into foot rests.
I was about to say something to him, but thought better of it and held onto him tightly as he revved the motorcycle. He took off quickly and I almost squeaked as I tightened my arms around his waist. Oh wow, someone help me, but that felt really good right there. Not the taking off, but the feeling of his strong body against my much softer one, yikes I’m in trouble. This was torture, smushed against Kevin’s back, my legs against his and I could feel the muscles with every movement he made. More than ever, I wanted to jump him, bad idea Nik.
After what seemed like forever and then some, we got to the arena and Kevin parked his motorcycle. I waited until I was sure we were stopped and then took the helmet off, handing it back to him. “Thanks for the ride, it was fun.” I said, trying not to sound like a total moron at the moment. Standing, I swung my leg over and got off the motorcycle as he finished taking his helmet off. Thinking I would get away quickly, I started to leave, but his hand on mine stopped me. “Not so fast, princess, we need to talk before the show.” He said as he looked at me with a serious look on his face.
Before I could say anything or lose my mind, John Morrison walked up and grinned at me. “Hey Nikki, need to talk to you about that tag match later, you got a minute?” Thank you Johnny, smiling, I got my bag and nodded to him, “Sure thing Johnny, let’s go talk about that match.” He put his arm around my shoulders and I glanced back at Kevin before being led off by Morrison. Oh boy, Kevin didn’t look happy at all, but it was for the best. I shouldn’t like him anyway; Johnny was someone I should be attracted to.
