Danny: “Morning,” Ben said in the same husky tone as before. “Ben? What the fuck are you doing? If you wanted to wake me up you could’ve just chucked water over me.” Ben laughed. “Nah, I wouldn’t do that to you.” He was smiling at me again, but there was something weird about it. It wasn’t like a normal friendly smile. What the fuck had gotten into him? Was he high? “Are… you okay, Ben?” I asked cautiously. If he was high, he could have a major mood swing any time soon. “I’m fine. Perfect, even.” He sounded extremely cheerful. “Are you sure? You’re not usually this much of a morning person.” He laughed again and looked at me as though he knew something that I didn’t. “You don’t remember, do you?” My heart skipped a beat. What the fuck was he talking about? “R-remember what?” What the fuck had I done last night? “The songs that you wrote.” I suddenly calmed down – even though that didn’t explain why he was acting this way. “Yeah, what about them? They were crap, right?” Ben shook his head and looked at me almost – dare I say it? – lovingly. “Nah. They were beautiful, Danny.” He then did something completely unexpected: he leant in until his lips brushed against mine. My God! Was I dreaming? I was just settling into the kiss when Ben pulled back. “Can I just ask you something?” My head was too light for me to form words so I just nodded instead. “Is it true? What you said in your songs? That you’ve loved me all of this time?” Shit. I’d put more into those songs that what I’d intended to. I hadn’t mentioned Ben’s name, but I must’ve made it obvious that it was about him. And had I really revealed how long I’d loved him? “Yeah. It is.” I answered without hesitation. Ben smiled and kissed me again for a brief moment before pulling back again. “Good, because I’ve felt the same way for just as long.” “Really?” I was shocked at this information. Ben nodded and was about to answer but I cut him off by kissing him deeply and he kissed back without hesitation. For a long minute, we laid there with our lips moving in sync together. Ben’s hand drifted from my waist up to my neck to push out lips impossibly closer, deepening the kiss further. I also let my hand drift up Ben’s body to grip onto his shoulder blade. I soon felt his tongue on my lip, requesting that the kiss becomes even deeper. I responded by opening my mouth to let Ben’s tongue attack my own. As our tongues continued their intimate battle, our bodies pressed closer together, legs entwining together and hands gripping even tighter on the other’s body. Ben pushed me onto my back and gently laid on top of me, one of his hands sliding down into my pants to stroke the semi – hard errection there. I pulled out of the kiss – not because I wanted to, but because I needed some air. I gasped as Ben’s mouth slipped across my jaw and down to my neck where he nipped the skin there. My hands went straight to his hair and gripped tightly. He didn’t seem to notice, though, he just carried on nipping, kissing and then letting his tongue slide over my neck. Oh, God. I didn’t want this to stop. “What the fuck guys?” Both me and Ben looked up to see that Sam had pulled back the curtain to my bunk.
