A/N: Okay, so I know that I posted the author's note today as well. But I had a spurt of inspiration (and just needing to have a little Patrick/Becca fluff) and finished it off tonight. I hope you've enjoyed this rambling story as it comes to a close (yes, this is the LAST chapter). However, don't despair - there is a sequel in the works for all my lovely readers/reviewbies. I'm going to try and get a few more chapters fleshed out in the sequel before I start posting it (also I want to have some more plot bunny time with Cat - oh how I've missed it!). So sadly this is the last of Row writing for a few days. But I hope that this chapter does you guys worth the wait. *hugs and love* Enjoy and let me know what you guys think! I adore reading your reactions - they make me happy! XD

Becca was standing in the changing room off the entrance foyer of the church listening to the processional march for the bridesmaids filtering through the closed doors of the room. She leaned her head against her father’s shoulder and smiled as she felt his arms wrap around her reassuringly.
“Don’t worry, Beckanne. Everything is perfect for you today. And a father couldn’t ask for a more perfect daughter. And Patrick is getting the most beautiful bride anyone could wish for. Today is your day and everyone has done all in their power to make it perfect for you. Now let me have one last kiss and then it will be time for us to go for our walk.”
Becca smiled, a bit teary-eyed, at her father’s reassurances. She still felt a little jittery about the wedding, but she also knew that everything would be okay. She was marrying the man she loved and would be eternally his within an hour. Everything she had imagined as a kid growing up was nothing to the feelings she was having now that she was actually getting married.
The music stopped and Becca smiled before wiping her eyes gently and leaning up and leaving a kiss on her father’s cheek. They moved out into the entranceway and Becca pulled her veil down over her face and took a final reassuring breath as the doors opened letting the soft sound of the Bach Prelude filter back to the end of the aisle. The soft sound of the classical guitar seemed to fit perfectly with the romantic feel of the wedding in general, and that was why she had opted for this song rather than the standard wedding march.
As Patrick turned to look back at Becca, his breath caught in his chest. She was perfectly radiant, and it was almost painful to look at. Pete nudged him in the back before leaning over to whisper in his ear with a smirk. “Don’t forget to breathe.” And only then did Patrick manage to breathe.
Becca’s eyes watered at the sight of Patrick waiting for her at the altar in his tuxedo. She couldn’t remember a time where she was happier or more at peace. She returned the small smile, although she was sure that he likely couldn’t see it because of the veil. She made her way slowly up the aisle with her father, her eyes never leaving Patrick’s. The church was gorgeously decorated, but it could have been any other room for what she noticed.
As they reached the altar, Becca smiled to Patrick before turning her attention back to Pastor Robinson. “Who gives this young woman to this man?” Becca glanced up to see her father take a deep breath to regain his voice from the tears in his eyes before speaking. “Her family and I.” He took Becca’s hands and gently gave them to Patrick before giving Patrick a friendly pat on the back before moving to sit down with Becca’s mother.
Patrick lightly squeezed Becca’s hands, smiling brightly as she looked up at him, tears in her eyes. “I love you.” He whispered lightly to her before turning his attention back to the pastor. He wanted to remember every aspect of this day, regardless of how beautifully distracting Becca was. He wanted to remember it all, and all of it for her.
Becca smiled at Patrick as they stood at the altar, she couldn’t believe that this was happening, and yet with Patrick standing there holding her hands in his, everything was right and she couldn’t panic. All she could do was stare up into his eyes, her heart beating a crazy rhythm.
“Dearly beloved, friends and family, we are gathered here in the presence of god and the witnesses present to join this young man and this young woman in the bonds of holy matrimony. Before we continue, if there is any who have any reason that these two should not be wed, please speak now or forever hold your peace.”
Pastor Robinson paused for the briefest of moments before smiling and continuing, grin still on his face. “Good. Now I must mention the sacredness and holiness that the bonds of matrimony hold. You are to love and cherish each other, forsake all others, living only for each other. Take only each other – and however many children you two will have – for as long as you both shall live.”
Pastor Robinson paused for the scattered laughter to die down after his comment about children before continuing. Although both Patrick and Becca were having a slight struggle to keep up with what he was saying, as they were both distracted by the surreal nature of the actual wedding. And before either of them could actually take time to catch up in their minds to the wedding, they were saying their vows, each staring into the other’s eyes.
“Do you, Patrick Martin Stump, take this woman, Rebecca Anne Marie Wentz, to be your wife, according to God’s holy decree; do you promise to be to her a loving and loyal husband, to cherish and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, to be faithful only to her as long as you both shall live?” Pastor Robinson’s face shown with excitement and happiness as he continued with the ceremony, watching the two young people staring into each other’s eyes.
Patrick’s voice was a bit strained and quieter than normal when he replied with a soft-spoken, “I do.” There was a hint of tears in his eyes as he stared adoringly at Becca, barely even noticing the pastor there with them, so caught up in his own emotions as he was.
Pastor Robinson smiled happily at Patrick before turning to Becca for her vows. “Do you, Rebecca Anne Marie Wentz, take this man, Patrick Martin Stump, to be your husband, according to God’s holy decree; do you promise to be to him a loving and loyal wife, to cherish and keep him in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, to be faithful only to him as long as you both shall live?”
Becca had to clear her throat to find her voice, but was only able to manage the faintest of whispers while nodding her head, her heart in her eyes as she stared at Patrick. “I do.” The tears in her eyes made it hard to see much beyond the watery blur of Patrick’s face and loving smile, but for the moment, that was all she needed.
“The marriage ring seals the vows of marriage and represents a promise for eternal and everlasting love.” Pastor Robinson smiled before turning his attention back to Patrick. “Alright son, repeat after me. ‘I, Patrick Martin Stump, take thee, Rebecca Anne Marie Wentz, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish forever, according to God’s Holy Ordinance, and thereto I give thee my pledge.’”
Patrick’s eyes never left Becca’s face as he stared at her with all the love he could muster in his eyes as he repeated the words, his voice catching as he gently stumbled over her full name, having never called her by anything longer than Rebecca. “I, Patrick Martin Stump, take thee, Rebecca Anne Marie Wentz, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish forever, according to God’s Holy Ordinance, and thereto I give thee my pledge.” And with those words, he gently slid a simple silver band onto her left ring finger, his own eyes threatening to spill over with the tears that seemed to balance precariously on the edges of his eyelashes.
Becca thought her heart would burst at the sound of Patrick reciting his vows to her. But then came her turn and Pastor Robinson turned his kind smile to face her. “Now it’s your turn, darling. Repeat after me. ‘I, Rebecca Anne Marie Wentz, take thee, Patrick Martin Stump, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish forever, according to God’s Holy Ordinance, and thereto I give thee my pledge.’”
Becca’s voice, which normally was calm and steady wavered as she recited the words that she had never dreamed she could say. Her eyes never left Patrick’s as she repeated the vows, gently placing a matching silver wedding band on his left ring finger. “I, Rebecca Anne Marie Wentz, take thee, Patrick Martin Stump, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish forever, according to God’s Holy Ordinance, and thereto I give thee my pledge.”
Patrick reclaimed Becca’s hands in his own and quickly gave them a light squeeze, his heart on his sleeve and in his eyes as he looked down at the vision of beauty standing before him. The two of them didn’t seem to be completely realizing of anyone else in the room aside from each other, so intently were they staring into each other’s eyes.
“Those whom God hath joined together, let no man put asunder. Forasmuch as Patrick and Rebecca have consented together in Holy Wedlock, and have witnessed the same before God and this company of witnesses, and there to have given their pledge, each to the other, and have declared the same by giving and receiving a ring, and by joining hands; by the power vested in me by the State of Illinois, I now pronounce you husband and wife.”
Pastor Robinson smiled brightly, his face crinkling up around the edges with a bright merriment on his features. After a moment of silence, he laughed and motioned with his hand. “Well go ahead, son. Kiss the bride already.”
The scattered laughter settled as Patrick gently lifted the veil from over Becca’s face and gently wiped the tears streaming down her cheeks before taking her face in his hands and leaning closer to her. He hovered for a moment above her lips just long enough to whisper a gentle, “I love you”, before kissing her lightly on the lips. Although the kiss was romantic and chaste, the hoots and cheers from everyone in the church caused the newlyweds to blush a bright red.
Pastor Robinson chuckled before giving them both a light pat on the shoulder before turning his attention back to the group in the seats of the church. “I now present Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Martin Stump.”
The applause and cheers from the friends and family members was loud and much more appreciated and humbling than the loudest of fan applause for Patrick, simply because it was in response to his love for Rebecca. And Rebecca for once was embarrassed by the applause and attention that was being showered on her. She kept her face turned into Patrick’s chest as they walked out of the church before being pulled off into one of the changing rooms to await the standard sending off.
As they were standing in the changing room, Patrick pulled her close and wrapped his arms around her. He leaned forward once again, stopping to where he was right above her ear and gently whispered with a smile. “I love you, Rebecca Anne Marie Stump. Forever and always.” And with that, he moved to kiss her once more on the lips, his promise in the love that he felt and shared with her in his kiss.

A/N #2: Okay, so I'll be the first to admit it, this chapter had me in tears. Just the simple beauty of the relationship between the characters makes me a bit sappy. I can't help it - I'm a hopeless romantic at heart. Maybe that's why I write, to give everyone the 'happily ever after' that sometimes doesn't happen in real life. Plus I have gotten so attached to the characters in this story (those I made up and those based on the band guys) that I can't help but want to have happy endings. Call me a sap, but that's the way I am. I hope you've enjoyed and I can't wait to get back into the normal swing of things with the sequel to this one. Be on the lookout for it coming within a week or so (hopefully not any longer than that). Until then, my hugs and love to you all. Thank you for reading and going along with me, even when I had issues with internet and writers block. You guys are amazing and I love you for just that.
