Chapter 9

“Sorry,” David said. “I hadn’t meant for that to happen. I got kinda carried away…”
David was shifting position to lie beside James once more.
“Hey! I’m not finished here yet,” James said, licking another blob of spunk into his mouth. It tasted just as good as he remembered from lunchtime. In fact, he was surprised how much he was enjoying the taste of another man’s semen.
He looked up at David’s face. He was smiling at him. God, he was gorgeous when he did that.
“Can’t leave you all sticky like this,” James added with a smirk.
David rolled onto his back and allowed James to finish cleaning him up.
“I’m so embarrassed,” James heard him whisper. “You made me feel like I was seventeen again… I just couldn’t hold back…”
James released David’s softening member from between his lips and looked up.
“I’ll take that as a compliment,” he replied.
“You were so hot…” David added, pulling him into his arms again.
“Past tense?” James asked in mock surprise.
David kissed him. The kiss felt every bit as good as the first. No, make that better…
He eventually released him. David’s eyes were sparkling with renewed arousal.
“You’re always hot,” he breathed against James’ neck. “You must know you are.”
Was he? No one had ever said that before. Quite frankly, the thought had never occurred to him.
This gorgeous guy thought he was hot!
“You think I’m hot?” James asked, nervously.
“Yeah!” David purred. “Have done since we first met.”
David had been there the day James had auditioned for the part. Juliet had introduced them. They’d shaken hands and David had treated him to a dazzling white smile, the kind only found in Hollywood. Joss had called Juliet away - no doubt to discuss his performance - leaving the two of them alone. He couldn’t remember exactly what they’d talked about. It had seemed pretty banal at the time. David had come over as the typical college jock turned actor, the kind of guy who knew his looks would get him anything he wanted in life. Shallow and self-centred. Not his type at all, not that he had a type then… as far as he knew anyway. But he’d been wrong about David. Over the weeks that followed they’d spent a lot of time together. It had turned out that David knew a lot about the technical side of the business and he’d been only too pleased to help James make the transition from stage actor to television actor. James was well aware he’d made some dreadful mistakes at first. The others had laughed when they’d seen the rushes of his early scenes but David never did. He was always sympathetic and understanding. James had quickly come to regard him as a nice guy, kind and sensitive and a much deeper thinker than most gave him credit for. He was surprised how much they had in common. They’d become friends, good friends, but he’d never had any inkling David had seen him as anything other than just a friend.
“I had no idea,” James whispered as David’s lips brushed his own in a fleeting kiss.
“I thought I’d blown it with our initial conversation, boring you with all that talk of football, or was it hockey?”
“Both.”
“… but I wanted you from that day…”
“Why didn’t you say anything?” James asked. James had always worn his heart on his sleeve but it seemed David was more reticent about revealing his true feelings. “You thought I was gay, right?”
“I thought then you might be although I wasn’t sure.”
“And that was before they bleached my hair,” James interjected.
David smiled.
“You never mentioned anyone special nor did you ever say you had a date, both of which made me wonder. It’s not like you’re a geek who couldn’t get a date if his life depended on it so I figured you must have a reason for not talking about your private life, that you didn’t know me well enough to be comfortable telling me about your boyfriend or in any event, if you were currently without a boyfriend, that you weren’t looking for me to fill the vacancy. Remember this is all new to me as well. I didn’t want to make a complete idiot of myself…”
James leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on David’s mouth.
“Go on…”
“We hung out together. I thought you knew I was interested but you never gave me any encouragement so I assumed you weren’t… interested, that is, until today.”
“When I woke up this morning, as far as I knew, I was straight,” James began. “Lying here with you now, like this…”
He looked down at his own burgeoning erection. David followed his gaze and smiled.
“… it’s plain I’m not. It’s not that I didn’t want you. I just hadn’t ever thought about you… about us… like that,” James added, “but now it’s all I can think about. Kiss me…”
