One Saturday morning, I woke up to an empty bed, and the house was quiet.
I walked downstairs to notice Pam's jeep was gone, then I found the note.
"I took the girls out for a few hours, we will be back before Lunch, enjoy the quiet. Love- Pam."
Later that morning, I heard Pam's jeep pull into the drive. I noticed the girls were being super sneaky and hurried upstairs. "Girls start getting packed to leave for Charlotte on Sunday, we're going to be gone a week.
We arrived in Charlotte, and I didn't realize how busy Pam and the others truly were during the week of Wrestle mania between meet and greets and Media. Pam became very distant with me. the next morning, she was in our suite bathroom getting dressed, I quickly climbed out of bed and wrapped my arms around her from behind. "Not now Brittany, I'm running behind." She snapped at me.
I backed off, she seemed angry at me, and I had no idea what I had done wrong. I went back into our room. "Bye Britt, I will see you later for dinner." She said before she left, I didn't get a kiss as she left. I crawled back in our bed and broke down. The girls were with Sydney and Cathey; we were supposed to meet up for lunch and sightseeing later. I grabbed my phone and text Sydney and told her to send the girls back when they got bored of them, but I knew it wouldn't happen, they loved my girls. I wasn't feeling well and I was going to skip sightseeing. I gave myself a migraine from crying.
I woke up later, I noticed I had a couple of missed texts. One from Sydney "Can we keep the girls another night? we're having a blast with our nieces." I responded, "Yeah have fun." Then I saw the missed text from Pam. As soon as I opened it my heart was ripped from my chest. I knew she didn't mean to send it to me. "She's so clingy lately, I don't know how to talk to her without sounding mean or insensitive." I sent a quick text to Sydney asking her to send the girls back to my room immediately. In less than 15 minutes the girls were walking through the door, in front of Sydney, I told the girls "Pack your stuff, we're leaving, don't ask questions, just pack." I said throwing my stuff into my suitcase. "Girl what's going on, calm down." Sydney said looking scared. I opened the text message from Pam and then tossed my phone to her. "Me and my girls are leaving, if me being loving is a problem, then its one I can easily fix." I said zipping my suitcase. Sydney stared at me shocked and disbelief. She quickly pulled out her phone and dialed "you need to get here and get here quick like SOS emergency. She said before she hung up.
"Why call an SOS emergency, what's it gonna do? She said it, and accidentally sent it to me, my heart is shattered right now and nothing you or anyone does says will fix this, So I'm out, Nikki, Cici, let's go, we are going home." I said tears streaming down my face. Cici entered the room with her suitcase."Mom, what's going on?" She said looking at me with concern in her eyes. "I will explain later, I just want to go home." I said grabbing my carry on.
We left the room and headed for the elevators just as the ones opposite our hall buzzed and opened. Tori was the first to step off into the hallway, Nikki who had been pretty much dragging away from the hotel room pulled away from me and made a beeline for Tori. "Aunt Tori, Moms making us leave,I want to stay." She said wrapping her arms around Tori's waist in a death grip. I watched Tori pick her up and carry her away from the others.
I walked past the others to where Tori was comforting Nikki. "Come on Nicole, we're gonna miss our flight, don't make this any harder than it already is." I said attempting to take her from Tori. "Brittany, both girls want to stay, I don't know what's going on, but look at your daughters, they are confused and terrified as to why why their mother is dragging them away from the family they have grown to love for the last 9 months, olive them just as deeply. Let me take them for tonight, you need to calm down, and talk to Pam, we can revisit this tomorrow." Demi said stepping between me and Nikki.
I turned to see Cici in the arms of Mercedes. "We are their family, your family, no matter what happens between you and Pam, but disappearing is not the answer." Trinity said I threw my hands up in defeat. "Just for tonight, tomorrow morning we are going back to San Jose. I said before walking back to the hotel suite.
When I came out of the bathroom, Pam was sitting at the foot of the bed. "Brittany Marie, I love you more than I ever saw myself loving another person, that text message wasn't about, that was about Charlee, she's been a bit much, and I don't have the heart to be mean to her. That was supposed to be sent to Leah, but I accidentally sent it to you by mistake. I am sorry I hurt your feelings and made you want to leave, please forgive me and stay. I love that you get clingy and loving towards me, because nine months ago you wouldn't even allow me to hug you. She said as I threw my shirt over my head.
Pam stood up before I could react and put her arms around me pulling me into a hug.
"Why didn't you message me and say it was about Charlee?" I said wiping the tears off my face. "I didn't realize it had sent to you until Mercedes messaged me saying I needed to get back to the hotel immediately, I walked in to see the end of the confrontation between you and Demi, and I heard you tell them that you were still taking the girls and going back to San Jose tomorrow, then you stormed back into our room.
Again before I could react, clothes were flying, Pam was all over me, and vice versa. When we were done, I started to fall asleep in her arms. I felt her move. "Please stay with me." I said trying to curl up around her body to prevent her from leaving. "Babe, I really have to get back, I only had a short amount of time before I had to be back for the show, I will be back as soon as I can I promise." She said that's when I noticed her picking up her ring pants up before sliding them on and tying them. I rolled my back to her. "Britt please don't be this way, please don't be upset with me, I will be back." She said before trying to kiss me on the side of the head. I pulled away from her. "I love you." She said before she exited the room.
The days emotions finally hit me, Pam being so busy I rarely see her, the text message, the fight with our friends, Pam's explaining and apology, the amazing sex, to me begging her not to leave. I was on the verge of a full-blown panic attack. I quickly got myself up and turned on the shower as cool as I could get it without freezing myself out. I sat under the shower stream for as long as I could until my nerves finally settled down, I got myself out of the shower and dragged myself back to our bed, I woke hours later hearing Pam come into the room, I looked at the clock it was after midnight, I heard her stumble, she was drunk. I got up and sat her down on the edge of the bed. I went and grabbed her clean pajama's and helped her change. It was when she put her hands against my face that I truly saw who Pam was. "You are so pretty, I knew the moment I walked up to you at the club, that we were going to be together, I even told Trin and Mercedes the night we met that you would be forever mine." She said before giving me a kiss.
I woke up the next morning to Pam moaning from the bathroom. "You alright Pammy?" I said trying to hold in my giggle. "I am never drinking with Damian and Kayden again, I have a meet and greet this morning, and I have a hang over the size of London. I can't cancel." She spoke. I got up and grabbed her a left-over greasy burger and fries. "This will help, I figured you would need it after you came in at midnight drunk off your ass." I said handing her the burger, and fries along with some Tylenol and a hangover drink I had in the fridge. She looked at me with love in her eyes. "I'm sorry for yesterday's misunderstanding, and I'm sorry I didnt come back as soon as the show was over, I wanted to give you time to cool down. How did you know to get me a greasy burger and fries?" She said
"I realized when you didn't come back by 11, that you were out with friends, and I know how you get when Tequila is involved, so I uber eats food at 11:30, so you had a greasy burger and fries and a hangover recovery for this morning." I said with a halfhearted smile. "As angry as you were at me yesterday, I'm surprised you did this for me, but then again no I'm not because you have a heart of gold, how did I get in pajama's?" She said before taking a bite of her burger. "I got you into your pajama's, do you remember anything that you said to me last night as I was helping you get dressed?" I said hoping she would. "No babe I'm afraid I dont." She said looking slightly afraid. "You put your hands on my face and told me that you knew the night you approached me at the club, that we were going to be together, and you told Trinity and Mercedes that I was going to be yours forever." I said repeating her words from the night before. "Oh yeah, I did know, and I did tell the girls that you were mine, I still laugh about Daria calling Dibs on me, when I was calling Dibs on you. Can you believe were going on 10 months of being together 7 months of us being serious? I wouldn't have it any other way Brittany, I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and our girls." She said before kissing me on the forehead.
"What do you want to do tonight, stay in the room and order room service, go out to dinner and dancing, Dinner and a movie?" She asked as she put on her shoes. "Can we stay in, have dinner, and watch a movie?" I said just wanting some alone time with her. "Yeah, we can do that, whatever you want babe that's why I asked, I will meet you back here around 5:00, I was thinking maybe we can go to the boardwalk for a bit, come back here for dinner, a movie and snuggles?" She said, "I like that idea." I said giving her a kiss as she grabbed her backpack and the hotel room key and was heading out the door. "Love you, Britt" she said leaving the room.
It wasn't long before Cici and Nikki were entering the room with Demi and Tori. "Are you and Pam, ok?" She spoke. "Yeah, things are better, we talked and worked things out, the text was not about me, it was about Charlee." I said trusting Demi. "I guess Charlee has been a bit much for Pam to deal with and Pam being the kindhearted soul that she is doesn't want to be mean and hurt Charlee's feelings." I said "Yeah Charlee can be not a bit much, but a whole lot. Pam isnt the only one that has had that issue with her, Tori did too, and so did I. Tori shoved her in a trash can and spun the trash can around tossing it with her still in it. I on the other hand shoved her skinny ass into a gym locker and barricaded her in. We've all had issues with Charlee a time or 2, don't be shocked if she starts making up drama to hurt you and Pam, it's best to ignore her. "Demi said giving me a hug. "I was going to take the girls to the water park if that's ok, do you want to join us." Tori said "Let me see if Pam wants to go when she gets back, if she does then yeah, I will meet you ladies down there." I said seeing both of my girls come into the room. "Mommy are you and Momma gonna break up?" Nikki asked "No Baby, Momma and I are just fine, Go with Aunt Demi, and Aunt Tori to the hotel water park, Momma and I may join you down there when she gets back from work today." I said hugging our youngest daughter before they headed out the door with Demi and Tori. "Thanks girls, Love you." "We love you too Sis." they said in unison.
