Vengeance
*Please, remember that this is all fiction. The result of watching too many movies and having too much spare time on my hands.*
Chapter 1
Applauses were filling the theater as soon as the credits started rolling. People were giving a standing ovation. When he saw that, all the tension that he’s been feeling all week long went away. His latest movie was a success. He’s been tense thinking that the movie was going to be a failure. Plus, he was dealing with a divorce, he still ponders what went wrong but of course that Angelina had something to do with the failure of his marriage, and the rumors of him being with Angelina. They were true rumors but they wanted to deny them for now.
Simon Kinberg, the director of the movie, congratulated him with a handshake, a quick hug and some “I told you” words.
- See? You had nothing to worry about. See you at the after party.
Then Simon congratulated Angelina Jolie. There she was, what a beauty! He thought. He was telling himself to stop looking at her so much but it was almost impossible.
- Great performance, as always, my friend.
Said his good friend Orlando.
- Hey! Thanks! I’m glad you came. I didn’t see you outside.
- I was late but I was able to make it. I wouldn’t miss the premier of this movie for anything in the world. Well, see you later at the party.
- See you, and thanks again.
On his way out he kept receiving thumbs up from most of the people present. He had that smile of his that melts every woman’s heart. He had not smile like that in weeks from all the tension. But now that he was feeling relax, he was giving out that million dollar smile of his again. “This is going to be one hell of a party”, he told himself.
At the party, he couldn’t resist it anymore. He didn’t want to give the paparazzi more reasons to talk about him and Angelina but he couldn’t resist, he had to talk to her.
- Congratulations on the successes of your movie, beautiful.
He said coming from behind her. It startled her since she was deep in conversation with a friend. Her friend knew what was going on between them so she just excused herself to leave them alone.
- Well, thank you! Part of the success was because of… that guy… the one in the movie with me. He was my husband in the movie and he is very sexy but I can’t remember his name. *He laugh at it. He loves it when she starts getting playful.* So, did you like the movie or just watching me? *She said that with a very sexy and provocative voice.*
- I liked the movie but I liked watching you more. Plus, that guy on the movie was really bad. He didn’t let you shine as much as in your other movies. *She gave him again a very sexy smile* We should get together tonight and celebrate.
- Yeah, we should do our own private party.
- So, who’s going to leave first this time?
- I did last time, so, it’s your turn to miss the party, hun.
