- Linde relaxed in a hot, soapy bath and sighed. Life had been tough since the death of his wife Manna. Cancer took her just 6 months prior and now he was a single father to his two year old daughter, Olivia. Still, his friends were a big help and his life was just that bit more stress-free than he'd originally thought. He'd moved in with Ville, taken Olivia with him, named Ville a legal guardian and tried to get his life back on track.
Manna had made him promise to move on in life, to find someone new, to love again. He'd only just allowed himself to do that. He'd gone back to an old flame, someone, despite his marriage, he'd always been in love with. Ville Valo. 5 months after moving in with him, he admitted, while drunk, that he was still in love with him. Ville simply smiled, patted his head and called him a 'silly drunk Finn,' Embarrassed, Linde took himself up to his room and hid there for the rest of the evening, and most of the morning. At noon however, there was a knock at his door, and Ville appeared, tray in hand. He smiled as he placed Linde's best hangover cure in front of him. A glass of cold pure orange juice, a bacon sandwich, and of course, 2 painkillers. He sat down next to Linde, helped him sit comftably - probed up with pillows, wrapped up warm, and placed a napkin on his lap. Despite his embarrassment, Linde smiled, took his painkillers, and started on breakfast, well lunch.
"Better?" questioned Ville, after Linde finished.
"Yeah..yeah, thanks man," he said. Ville pulled him into his arms, patted his head, and said,
"My silly little Finn. You could at least wait till your sober before you tell me you love me, you might get further next time," Linde's eyes sparkled wide, he smiled slightly, lent in, and kissed Ville softly on the lips, they fell naturally onto the bed as Ville allowed the kiss to go deeper, and from then, there was no question about the relationship of the two men. Well, especially since Mige found them naked in bed together that evening, while dropping off Olivia.As Linde continued to relax, he heard the door open. He knew who it was without looking, Ville. He grinned at the thought of his taller lover, and was soon rewarded when he felt Ville kiss his forehead.
"Olivia's asleep," Ville said, as he stroked the gutarists hair. Linde nodded.
"She's getting used to you now, but i think she misses Manna, i don't think she'll remember her, but that doesn't mean there isn't a gap to be filled..."
"Oh Kulta, im so sorry, it's been 6 months today! How could i not remember, darling, please forgive me!" cried Ville. Linde simply took his boyfriends hand, massaged his knuckles and sighed.
"It's ok. Manna wanted me to move on, and i know...she...im almost possotive she knew i still loved you. That's why she said it." He opened his eye's and looked at the dark haired man sitting behind him. He smiled.
"My silly Finn, Manna loved you, and whether she knew or not, she just wanted you to be happy," Ville cooed. He kissed his bathing lover on the cheek and proceeded to wash his hair.
"I love you Ville,"
