Well thanks to much protesting of the next installment of the Ryan Ross/Silver Miller saga, I present to you Going Home to Broken Promises. I was thinking. I never thought I would start writing Panic! at the Disco stories, as I had originally started in My Chemical Romance. But those stories suck! Lol! Anyway, the first chapter is microwaved and ready for digestion! So! On with the drama!!

The nights were spent loud and drunk, while the days were spent popping pills to keep the hangovers away. College life was anything but calm and normal. It was a chance to be yourself, and at the same time you were learning to become something more. So you drank every night. That didn’t mean you were an alcoholic. So you popped pills. You weren’t necessarily psycho.
This was just college life. It was the way things were since the beginning of college. Over spring break it only got worse. Kids would leave to do whatever they pleased, come back drunk or hung over, or not come back at all.
Silver Miller flopped down onto her uncomfortable dorm bed and sighed, reading a few notes over again. Spring break was starting in a week’s time. ‘I need to think… am I going back or not?’ She thought desperately. It was her second year at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. She had made her life here. It had been a little over a year since she had seen Brendon, Ryan, Jon or Spencer, let alone talked to them. She had isolated herself. She had changed.
Her once short, beautiful honey brown hair had become a long dark purple mass that hung in her eyes from time to time. Her eyes had gotten darker as the world’s teeth were barred into her face. She had met people who showed her wondrous things. They gave her high’s she was never able to reach back in Las Vegas. Her life had meaning for once.
A knock on her door pulled her out of her thoughts as her best friends, Blair and Clair, the Ferguson twins, came bouncing into her room, hand in hand. They looked identical, and Silver found she was the only one to ever tell them apart. They each had thick black hair that was always wavy and had a purple beret stretched over it, with thick eyelashes covering their bright blue eyes. They were the stereotypical art students, their anti-government attitude and their expansive knowledge of certain drugs. “Hello Silvie.” They said. She still flinched at that name, but they insisted on calling her either that, or Sliver, and she wasn’t having that. They were known as B and C.
“What’s up guys?” Silver asked, leaning back to see them properly.
“You remember you promised to take us to meet your cousin, and everyone in Las Vegas?” Asked Clair. Silver bit her lip. ‘Fuck… Now I’m screwed!’ She thought, standing up.
“I guess… I mean I haven’t been back there in over a year…” Silver said accidentally. Blair’s eyes lit up.
“So you have to go and see your family! I bet they all miss you!” She said. ‘Whoever is left of them…’ Silver said, casting a look to the floor. She never told them about what had happened, or why she hated to be called Silvie.
“Alright.” She said dejectedly. She was going home.
Home.
Back to see Ryan.
