I remember it like it was yesterday, I know a lot of people say that, but I really do remember it like it was yesterday. Maybe it’s because I was still confused as to why this beautiful creature wanted to be with me, or maybe I was still thinking this was all a dream, a crazy, strange, wonderfully, frightening, amazing dream. I knew it wasn’t, I could never be that creative, nor could my imagination come up with someone as marvelous as he was. I knew it was wrong, but I didn’t care I told him. The odds were against us, but I always had that one glimmer of hope, that maybe, just maybe it was meant to be. And all though the outcome didn’t look good, I couldn’t walk away, it was to late. My heart was his and I never wanted it back.
