• Prologue….
  
  
  Time. It heals nothing, Ville has lost count on how many years he'd let himself be used and he still hated himself every time he let it happen. What happened to his dreams? What happened to his friends? If they saw him now would they call him a friend even?
  His candle was but a dim flicker in a great void of nothingness. No matter how many drugs, no matter how many pills or how much booze he still felt that numbness. Would hallow be a better word? Yes, he was a numb man with a hallow soul.
  
  Pain. It doesn't make you stronger or weaker. Bam's heart had been torn out and thrown on the floor shattering into tinny sparkling bits, only for the slight hope of healing to dim and finally die. He'd given up, that was that. There was no going back, he'd let her and everyone else think he was fine when really he was slowly dying inside. Waiting for something or someone to give his heart hope again. A will to live and be a better person, a will to change and actually be happy. But for now he was a solitary man with a busted heart.
  
  This is the story about two lost souls. They may not be soul mates, they may even hate each other sometimes and would never marry, but they save each other none the less. This is a story about more than love, it's about humanity and the impact of loneliness. This a story about two men finding comfort in each other, in a world far from prefect.
