Lucky:

Zack had never been the most popular person in the school, or the best at sport and definitely not the smartest. But he'd always considered himself to be lucky in some way. He had the best group of friends he could have wished for, a supportive family that would do anything to make sure he was happy, even when he came out to them, they stood by him when other family members turned their backs on him and refused to even look at him. But the thing he felt most lucky about was having Brian.

Brian made him feel so amazing and special all the time.

They had been friends for forever and were almost on the edge of dating when Brian's family uprooted and moved states, from California on the West Coast to the Massachusettes on the East Coast. The pair stayed in constant contact over myspace, instant messaging, and spent hundreds on texts and phone calls. But the novelty of the idea of the pair getting together died off after a year after Brian moved away. He told Zack to not stay exclusive to him and start dating other people, and the pair stopped talking for a while.

Zack knew when he wasnt wanted. But it hurt him. He would spend every weekend getting drunk off his face while Matt looked on, concerned. But there was nothing he could say or do without getting a long, annoying lecture from Zack about how he “didn't fucking know anything about the entire situation”. He had sex with more people then he would even be able to remember. It was at least two every weekend, alternating between boys and girls. But it was only proof to himself that Brian wasn't the only one who wanted him.

He never had a relationship however. Brian was the only one he wanted to be with and love. He was very stubborn and adament that one day him and Brian might be together. He was never going to lose that hope.

It wasnt until a year after their falling out that Brian contacted him again and told him that he would be coming back to California for a week on holidays and if Zack wanted to do something with him. Zack agreed to meet up with him and he's very glad he did. They did everything together like they were a couple and had so much sex, Zack thought he would never be able to have sex again. And then came the time for Brian to leave. Zack really didnt want this moment to happen. His heart ached as he watched Brian walk through the gates of the terminal, waved with tears in his eyes as Brian walked out.

They had many deep and meaningful conversations, resulting in a few trips either to Huntington Beach or Boston, and they reached a decision of what they were going to do. Brian was moving across the entire country just to be with Zack. He had never felt luckier to have the most awesome person he'd ever met, the person he'd been in love with for years to be moving across the entire country, uprooting himself, his schooling, just to be with Zack.

And this was the definining moment. Zack waited patiently at Boston airport for the phone call that would mean Brian was ready to get him. He couldn't believe that this was the moment. They had planned for Zack to come stay with Brian for a week and half and then they were driving back to Huntington Beach together, a drive that would take them longer then they wanted, but Brian was adament in taking his car and he didnt trust putting it on an airplane.

Zack's phone went off and he gathered his bags and walked out to see Brian's brand new Cherry Mustang sitting in the waiting bay. He threw his bags in the paritally open boot and then climbed into the passenger seat. He had just closed the door when he felt a pair of lips pressed against his in a deeply passionate kiss. “Hey baby.” Brian smirked as he pulled back and started the hour long drive to his house. “I've missed you.”

“You've got no idea how much I've missed you too.” Zack said, smiling. “I love you.”

“Love you too bub.” Brian smiled, glancing at him quickly, linking their hands together.

Zack smiled widely, his happiness at being with Brian was so much better now that he was physically with him again and then they would be together for as long as they both wanted. Zack knew it was crazy to think so far ahead in his life when it came to Brian, especially since he had absolutely no idea what he wanted to do with his life, but he had a really good feeling about Brian. He would even dare and go as far to say that Brian might even be the one.

The pair had met a few skeptics, namely their parents and other close friends, who accused them of not even knowing what they wanted and they were “only eighteen and didn't know what they wanted out of life” but the pair knew each other and they knew they didn't want to and couldn't be with someone else. Zack looked over at Brian again, realizing just how lucky he was to have him.

Brian was like his own version of a Prince Charming, and he was the Cinderella. Brian was everything he wanted out of a partner and there was nothing more that he would ever want. He felt like a girl when he thought about his feelings for Brian but he knew that Brian felt the exact same way, so he didnt feel as much of a pussy as he normally would have.

“Baby, I'm so lucky to have you.” Zack said, breaking the silence the pair had become enveloped in. “You make me so happy and I don't ever want anyone else.”

Brian turned to look at Zack again, pulling up at the red light. “I'm pretty sure i'm luckier because I have you. You're all I've ever wanted.”

Zack's eyes lit up and he reached over and pressed his lips firmly to Brian's. He felt Brian press back through the kiss and he loved it. The cars were honking behind them but neither cared as their kiss progressed to an even more passionate stage. They were in love and nothing else mattered.

A/N: this story just kinda came out of nowhere. more so to do with my boyfriend and me. he lives in another state and he's moving just for me. so thank you all for reading :)
i'm having a little trouble with story ideas, so if anyone has any requests, i'd be more then happy to write them. and whichever pairing too. i'm not just brian/zacky exclusive :P
