A Day with Bandit and Missy
Missy smiled as she got up from the bed, her lover of three years, a Lindsey "Lyn-Z" Ann Ballato was already up and about. Missy and Lynz had finally decided to move in together, after many months of discussing it, they finally decided it would be for the best. So like all of the other days since she had moved in, two weeks prior, Missy got up and headed for a quick shower, when she got out, Lynz would be making a breakfast for her daughter, Bandit Lee Way. They had plans to take the four year old shopping for new autumn clothes, so Missy picked out a new purple silk top and black pants before jumping in the shower, ready to start her day with the two. She hadn't spent nearly enough time with just Lynz and Bandit.
After no more than twenty minutes, Missy walked back into the room, a gray towel wrapped around her body, and hair. She raised an eyebrow at Lynz who was talking to someone on the phone in a hushed, annoyed tone, her eyebrows furrowed. She shrugged it off when Lynz waved her away, thinking it was probably Gee, with one of his usual mother-hen rants. Quickly, she pulled on her clothes, before applying her usual makeup and brushing her hair. "Hey Lady B," she smiled as she walked past the four year old, joining her on the couch to put on her purple Adio's.
"Hi Aunt Missy," Bandit mumbled, her eyes glued to the cartoons on the television. A old stuffed bear named 'Reginald' clutched to her side, a gift from her Uncle Jimmy.
"What're you watching?" She asked, after she finished tying her shoes.
"Sponge Bob. Daddy thinks Mommy's evil to let me watch it, said Yo Yo Gaba Gaba's better. But it's baby show. I love Sponge Bob more," Bandit told, with out looking up. "Look at Gary! He's the smart one!"
Missy laughed at that, her attention pulled away for a second, Lynz had just walked past the hallway, still talking on the phone. "Is your daddy on the phone with your mom?" She asked, since it was common for Gee to call, talk to Bandit then question Lynz about their daughter.
Bandit shook her head, "Nuh uh."
Missy nodded, sitting back against the couch. She waited ten minutes before realizing that Lynz hadn't come out of their room. "I'll go see what your mommy's doing," she told Bandit, they needed to hurry and eat, so they could head out to the mall.
Missy walked into hers and Lynz bedroom, first noticing Lynz's abandoned phone on the bed, before seeing her lover hunched over in the corner, where her bag of art supplies and paperwork for her up and coming art show was. "What're you doing?" She asked sitting down on the edge of the bed.
Lynz looked up, her hair following in front of her eyes. She held out a hand full of papers, setting them down on the bed. "I'm looking for the schedule of artist's being shown at the show. Apparently no one knows how to work down at the studio," she grumbled before making a sound of annoyance and diving back at the bag.
"Well you need to hurry, B needs to eat before we go, otherwise we'll have to buy her breakfast at a fast food joint." Lynz scrunched up her nose at that.
"Yeah," Lynz sighed, before pulling back with a sour look. "About that," she sent a apologetic smile towards Missy. She quickly walked to their closet, pulling out a black suit jacket and pulling it over her dark gray band tee.
Missy straitened up at that, Lynz wouldn't wear a suit jacket shopping. "Lynz..."
"I'm sorry, Mis," she told her, really sounding it. She pulled off her tight jeans and pulled on a pair of black trousers, before putting on some high heeled slip ons. She left her hair down before turning on Missy, "They need me to come down and handle some things. I have to make sure everything's ready for tomorrow night."
Missy stood up at that, not liking it one bit. "Well... how long are you going to be?" She asked, panic setting in.
Lynz glanced back at the open door before walking over and closing it. "All day," she cringed as Missy's mouth fell open in shock. She could feel the tension in the air.
"What???"
Lynz cringed, "Calm down, it's not a big deal."
Missy looked at her like she was crazy. "Gee's coming to pick up Bandit, right??" When Lynz shook her head 'no', Missy went on. "Then Jimmy? Kitty? Steve!?" When Lynz could only shake her head, Missy really started to panic. She had no idea what to do with a four year old, especially one she didn't know too well, and was her lovers daughter. "You're just going to leave her alone with me?? I don't know what to do with a four year old!"
Lynz grabbed her lover by the shoulders, pulling her closer to herself. "Calm down, babe, it'll be fine. You just have to get Bandit some breakfast and take her shopping, like we planned. Nothing too hard, we've done this before."
Missy couldn't hear any of it, all she could think about was Bandit, her, alone. "What if she hates me, and I fu-"
"Hands!"
Missy jumped back at that, not expecting to be shouted at. "What??" She looked down at her hands, expecting something to be on them or something. "What about my hands?"
"No," Lynz chuckled. "It's something Gee started, if someone's about to cuss, we say hands and Bandit puts her hands over her ears." She explained before going back over to her bag on the floor and placing it on the bed.
Missy mumbled something about stealing it from 'Old School'.
Lynz shrugged, putting all the paper work she had taken out back into the bag. "I wanted Snickers or Twinkies, but Gerard said hands sounds better."
"Is that why you divorced him?" Missy said, her voice laced with sarcasm.
Lynz just smirked at her girlfriend. "Nah, he couldn't make me cum as hard after we had Lady B."
"Hands," Missy mocked, throwing her arms up before plopping down on the bed.
Lynz smiled down at the other, before placing a kiss on her lips. "It won't be that bad, I thought you loved Bandit," she turned on a pout.
"I do," Missy told her, complete seriousness in her voice. She looked down at their black comforter, picking at a loose piece of thread. "I'm afraid she won't like me."
"Don't be silly," Lynz told her, before pulling back, swinging the bag,s strap over her shoulder. "Bandit adores you." She headed for the living room, leaving the door open for Missy, who chose to lean against the frame, watching the scene between mother and daughter. "Bandit," Lynz smiled at her daughter, kneeling down in front of her. "I have to go to the studio, so Auntie Missy's going to look after you today, kay?" When the little girl nodded, Lynz continued. "You remember what to do if there's a emergency and Missy can't get to the phone?"
Bandit nodded her head. "Call you, then daddy, then 911, and if none of those work, call Jimmy or Chantal."
Lynz nodded, placing a kiss on Bandit's head. "Right. Love you, be good for Missy." She turned to Missy, blowing her a kiss before hugging Bandit, and walking out the door, calling a last good bye to the two.
Missy looked down at Bandit who was looking up at her, the brown bear clutched to her side. "Well...your mom said to make some breakfast, so I should do that." She smiled on her way to the kitchen, hearing the sounds of Bandit's footsteps behind her. "So what do you want?" She smiled at Bandit.
Bandit shrugged, "Eggs I guess."
"Eggs it is," she smiled before pulling down a bowl and grabbing some eggs, milk, and bacon from the fridge. "How about some bacon and toast too?" When the girl nodded she set her up at the table, letting her crack the eggs, while she started the stove. "I'm sure you won't even be able to tell the difference between mine and your moms cooking." She told Bandit with a assuring smile.
"This wasn't supposed to happen," Missy pouted, staring down at the black toast, chard pieces of bacon and burnt eggs that smelt disgusting. She sniffed a little at her failure, watching as Bandit walked past her and pulled open a cabinet at the end of the kitchen, pulling out a box of Coco-puffs.
Bandit smiled at Missy as she walked back to the table, setting the box down before looking up at her with her big green-hazel eyes. "It's okay, Aunt Missy, we can have Coco-puffs, I like them better anyways." She smiled.
Missy could only smile back, thinking that maybe it wouldn't be such a bad day. "Okay, I'll get some bowls and spoons."
"Come on, B, let's get your shoes on so we can go," Missy called to the girl. After a breakfast, she had taken Bandit to pick out a outfit for the day, and tried to help her get her things ready for a bath. But after almost giving the girl dirty clothes and setting the water too hot, she had decided to wait outside of the bathroom for her to finish. After being assured that Bandit could handle it by herself, though Missy did insist on keeping the door open so she could hear if anything went wrong.
She was currently waiting for Bandit to get her shoes and socks so they could finish up and go.
"Here they are," Bandit smiled, running up to Missy, placing her pink converse's on the ground and jumping on the couch. She stuck her sock covered foot out, waiting for Missy to put her shoes on her and tie them. Missy smiled before doing so, she started to tie one when Bandit stopped her. "No," Bandit told her with a giggle. "Mommy and daddy, don't tie it with 'bunny ears', but with the cross and loop, so I don't get confused."
Missy made a 'o' shape with her mouth, the first time hearing something like that. Usually kids got confused by the cross and loop, not the 'bunny ears'. "Okay," she smiled, feeling a little foolish by assuming Bandit would be like any other kid. She finished it up before tapping Bandit's knee. "Let's get our coats and head to the mall. We have to get you some new autumn clothes."
Bandit nodded before running to get her hoodie from her room. She pulled her purple 'Jack Skellington' hoodie over her 'Iron Maiden' tee, Gerard had specially made, and blue jeans. Her black pigtails coming a little loose when she pulled it over her head. "Ready," She smiled at Missy.
Missy nodded before tightening Bandit's pigtails and putting on her own black sweater, leaving it unzipped. "Alright, let's go."
--+-+--
Missy walked into the mall, her hand firmly grasping Bandit's. "So how about going to Macy's...or maybe Gucci?" She asked the girl, not sure where Gee and Lynz usually took her shopping.
Bandit scrunched up her nose at that. "I..guess."
Missy raised an eyebrow at that. "You don't like going there?"
Bandit shrugged. "I don't think I've ever been there."
"Where do you usually go?" When the other shrugged, Missy sighed. Lynz hadn't said where to go shopping, and she had no idea where to take a little girl shopping. So she decided to go where she usually went, 'Sears'. "Alright, let's go down to 'Sears', kay?" When the other smiled at her and nodded, Missy felt like she could actually do it, she could handle a day of shopping with a four year old.
Missy looked through the racks of clothing, holding up things she thought was cute for Bandit, who would in turn scrunch up her nose and shake her head 'no'. With a sigh, Missy stepped back, holding her hand out. "Alright, how about you pick out what you want, and I'll sit and watch?" She smiled when Bandit jumped up and nodded before searching through the items, babbling away a mile a minute about her friends at pre-school had certain things she did and didn't want.
--+-+--
"Alright, Lady B, where to next?" Missy asked her hands full of bags.
Bandit looked up and down the isle's, before her face broke into a smile. "Payless!" she shouted before running off to it, Missy right behind her, laughing the entire way.
"I think those look fabulous," Missy giggled as Bandit put on some red sparkly shoes, much like the ones from 'The Wizard of Oz'.
"Really?" Bandit looked up, completely serious.
"Oh, yeah," Missy chuckled, remembering she was with a four year old, not Lynz or one of her friends. "They're awesome."
Bandit smiled at that, before taking them off and putting them down beside Missy before going to look at the boots. "I like these Bugs Bunny ones," she held up a pair of gray boots, with a picture of Bugs Bunny holding a carrot, and dark blue foe-fur around the top. "My friends will be so..." The little girls eyes seemed to loose focus for a minute as her gaze shifted past the glass of the store.
A woman with blonde hair, big glasses and a hoard of paparazzi following her, was walking right outside of the shop. Missy noticed her stop and stare at Bandit, a look of distaste crossing her face. Slowly, Missy stood from the bench and walked towards Bandit, placing a protective hand on her shoulder. Soon, some camera men noticed Bandit too, and proceeded to take pictures, instantly pissing Missy off. "Come on, B," Missy told her, grabbing the boxes of shoes they had picked out and walking to the checkout desk. After purchasing them, she grasped Bandit's hand and walked out the door. Instantly more camera's went off.
"It's a shame, those rock-stars don't care enough about their child to actually by them good quality items," the blonde sneered, a blonde Missy finally recognized as Gwen Stefani.
Missy glared at her, while hurrying Bandit away, not understanding what the bitch's deal was. Once they had reached the other side of the mall, and we almost to the exit, Missy decided to approach Bandit on the subject, since the child had been very quiet since the encounter. "What's the matter B?"
"Mrs. Stefani doesn't like my mommy or daddy...mainly mommy...she hates her...something about friending on a twitter tweeter thing. And her son's go to the same school I do...just in different classes. Their mom wanted them put into a different class when she saw mommy and daddy take me on the first day to pre-school...she once tried yelling at mommy when mommy took me to a park before...she was there with her kids... Mommy doesn't take me there anymore, daddy too," Bandit said, her eyes downcast as she walked with Missy towards the car.
Missy glared out at the parking lot, wishing she would of done more than just glared at Stefani. "I'm sorry, B, you know what, how about after we're done at the grocery store, I take you to the park?" Missy smiled at her, Bandit smiled back, looking a bit happier.
--+-+--
Missy smiled as they walked into the store, she was starting to feel good about it all. Bandit was smiling again, and talking about how pre-school was, it was turning out okay, despite the many glitches of the day. "Okay, Bandit," she smiled down at the girl. "We need milk, coffee, tea, and eggs."
Bandit nodded, following Missy along, she was looking everywhere, always interested with her surroundings, when a pile of Pop-tarts caught her eye. "Missy," she said, pulling on Missy's hand.
Missy was looking down, at the tea carton in her hand. "Hmm?" She asked not looking up.
"Can I go get some of those cherry Pop-tarts, since daddy ate all of yours?" She asked sweetly, pointing at the stack of pop-tarts across from them at the other end of the other isle.
Missy glanced at it, before back down at Bandit, sure she had a clear view of it, but she didn't want to let Bandit out of arms length. She had heard many horror stories of children going missing at stores. "I don't know Bandit..."
"Please," Bandit pleaded, standing on her tip-toes and fluttering her eyelashes like she seen her mother do many-a-times. "I'll be reaaallllyyy quick, promise." She smiled for good measure.
Missy looked down the isle again, before sighing and nodding. "Fine, but come right back here when you're done, kay?"
With a smile and a nod, Bandit took off, running down the isle to the Pop-tarts. She smiled triumphantly when she came to stand at her destination. Slowly she picked up a box of Pop-tarts and smiled. With big steps, she started back towards Missy, just as she was about to cross to the other isle, a shelf lined with peanut-butter and different flavored jellies caught her eye. With a quick glance at Missy, who was still looking over tea's, Bandit made a bee-line for the jelly section, wanting to get some for her lunches.
Missy looked up, when Bandit hadn't shown up again. She looked up and down both isles, not seeing any traces of Lynz's daughter. Quickly, she put the tea in her basket and started running towards the Pop-tart section. "Bandit!" She called out, waiting and hoping to get a reply. When she didn't she started feeling a panic set in, her daughter was gone, her's and Lynz's child was missing. "Bandit! B!" She yelled again, getting looks from passing people. Missy turned in circles, searching her surroundings. "Bandit! Honey!" She continued yelling as she started searching other isles. She was about to go to one of the cashiers when a loud voice on the intercom came on.
"Clean up on isle 10! Clean up on isle 10!" Followed by a click.
With hope, Missy ran towards the isle.
Bandit looked up at the grape jelly, she really wanted it, but couldn't quite reach it. Carefully, she put her foot on one of the shelves, boosting herself up a bit, just enough to reach a jar. "Yes!" She shouted with joy at managing to snag a jar, quickly she turned around accidentally bumping the shelf. She was ready to head back towards Missy, when the sound of something following got her attention. Barely missing her, a jar of jelly fell from the shelf, followed by another and another, soon, five had fallen. All barely missing her. With wide eyes she down at the broken glass and jelly stained tile. "Oops."
"Bandit!" Missy yelled as she ran up to the girl. She was standing a bit away from the mess, watching a man walk up with a mop and bucket.
"Auntie Missy!" She giggled, letting Missy pull her into a hug.
Missy squeezed her tight before pulling back, and looking Bandit strait in the eye. "Don't ever leave me like that again, okay?" She more told her than asked her. When Bandit nodded, a look of apology on her face, Missy pulled her into another hug. Kissing her on the head. "Who made this mess?" Missy asked, trying not to step in any of it.
Bandit looked down and shrugged. "Uh..I don't know, can we go to the park now?" She asked, trying to change the subject.
Missy furrowed her brow before shrugging and nodding. "Yeah, let's go."
Bandit smiled, "I wanna ride the swings!" She through her hands out, knocking into the items lining the shelf. A loud bang and crash rang down the isle. With wide eyes, she looked behind herself. At least eight mayonnaise jars had fallen from the shelf. "Oops," she looked up at Missy.
"JERRY!!! CLEAN UP ON CONDIMENTS ISLE 10!!! WHO'S DESTROYING OUR FLOORS?!" Was called out on the loud speakers.
Missy looked down at Bandit. "Sorry?" Bandit laughed nervously.
--+-+--
"I can't believe they charged me for all that," Missy grumbled. Her and Bandit were sitting on a bench in the park, she had bought herself a single scoop vanilla ice cream cone and somehow got talked into buying Bandit a triple scooped chocolate, with M&M's and peanuts. She was mentally going over the purchases she had made for the day, while Bandit giggled at the birds behind them.
"Look at that one, Aunt Missy!"
Missy looked up, and quickly turned her head, trying to get a look at what Bandit was talking about. She jumped when she felt it, cold ice cream seeping through her very expensive, new silk shirt. "Oh shit," she mumbled, her vanilla ice cream had fallen off the cone, right onto her shirt.
Bandit gasped. Shouting, "Hands!"
Missy could only smile at her, her day really hadn't gone as she had planned.

“Why my manager and co-workers of my Art Show Case Studios and Management hire interns who fucking don’t know what they are freaking doing is far beyond me,” Lyn-z sighed with aggravation straining in her tired voice as she smoked a cigarette in one hand and steered her steering wheel of the car with the other.
Being called in on her day off during the weekend before Sunday evening of her company’s art show to show case the independent new artists’ works wasn’t the worst thing that had annoyed her that day. It wasn’t just having cut into the time she had planned to spend with her “wife” and daughter…it was the fact that the second she had stepped into the studio warehouse she had rented with her coworkers and friends, that chaos was everywhere in the room. The interns were running around asking assistants stupid questions while their working tables and desks were a mess, her personal assistant and secretary looked like they were going to lose their minds any minute, breaking down in tears. The fact that she noticed a lot of things were in opposite places from where she had them organized that week to be was just the tip of the ice bergs that pissed her off. The decorations for the tables for the VIP guests and invited guests with their settings and place setting name tags weren’t the correct ones she had designed and ordered weren’t there.
The scenery of how she had planned for the room to look elegant but simple with a classic 1920s twisted look with a feel of the black and white films of the era’s legend element to it wasn’t what it was suppose to look like. It looked like it was something on the E Channel’s red carpet premiere night at a glamor awards show catering to the first class rich snobbish royalty, which wasn’t what she had wanted.
Even to how they had set up the artists gallery works on the display panels and walls weren’t what she specified them to be done. When they had told her how they sent out the invitations for the well known famous and infamous artists and art critics she had asked to have invited on her list of guest and friends she knew wasn’t how it went; they had sent the invitations to the wrong people not on the list. For Lyn-Z, having to fix all of those hundreds of invitations via email, postal addressed, and phone call wise wasn’t fun.
She ended up losing her temper and cursed and screamed at the idiot interns and workers who hadn’t done their job right; to the point where her boss and coworkers were shocked that she had made a young intern in her early twenties cry.
“I can’t believe I spent most of my damn time in my office having to email, call, or have people come in personally on their own time to fix the invitations by getting them officially marked for the event. Then deal with reorganizing everything else they screwed up. At least everything is finally fixed and ready for tomorrow night. I didn’t even have time to get lunch in-between that drama. I hope Miss and Lady B had a better day than I did”, the smoking musician and artist sighed as she turned off the ignition of her car stepping out of the then parked car taking only her keys, with her jacket laying over her shoulder and clutching her bag full of books, notes, folders, and newest things to look over for the next week’s job.
Fifteen minutes later after having taken the stairs instead of opting for the elevator to her floor of the apartment condo, Lyn-z yawned a bit before putting her key into the door’s lock as she wondered what she would find behind the door.
Missy was lying on her's and Lynz's bed, her shirt off, tossed carelessly to the side. Clad only in her bra and pants, was how Lynz found her. "Mis?" Lynz spoke softly, Missy just buried her face further into her pillow. "Babe, what's the matter?" She petted her girlfriends back, making small circles with the palm of her hand.
Missy sniffed and turned over, her face red and blotchy. "I failed you!" She cried out, burying her face in Lynz's shirt.
Lynz knit her eyebrows at that. "Did Bandit get hurt?" When Missy shook her head 'no', Lynz continued. "Is she home safe?" When Missy nodded 'yes', Lynz could only chuckle. "Then you didn't fail me at all."
Missy pulled back, wiping at her nose with the back of her hand. "Yes I did!" She told her. "I..I couldn't make B breakfast, so she had to eat Coco-puffs, then I didn't tie her shoes right!" She waved her hand around. "I almost burned her with the bath water, and almost gave her dirty clothes! Then I couldn't tell what she liked at the clothes store and made fun of her choice in shoes! And that bitch Stefani said some shit in front of her, that made her sad," she made a face at that. All the while, Lynz was rubbing circles on her back and shoulders. "Then I lost her at the store, only to find her breaking jars of jelly, by accident of course," she added. She sniffed again, motioning to the purple shirt lying on the ground. "Then..then I ruined my shirt with ice cream. I suck at being a mother!" She flung herself back down on the bed, crying into the pillow.
Lynz could only look at her lover as she cried. With a sigh, she laid down next to her. "No you don't Mis, being a mother doesn't mean you're perfect at it, in fact making mistakes is a given. As long as Bandit is alright in the end, that's all that matters."
Missy looked up at that. "Really?"
Lynz nodded. "Really."
Before either could say anything else 'Bitches' was heard blasting from Bandit's room. "Not again!" Missy groaned, she stood up, still only clad in her bra and pants. "She's been playing that fucking song off and on since we got home. Last time I went in there she was trying to do back flips off her bed," Missy turned towards Lynz at that. "She said Gee let her watch a MSI live performance."
Lynz laughed at that, "Bandit's actually been listening to that and other songs of my band's albums since she was in the womb," She paused looking a little thoughtful. "Though I had wished Gee hadn't of shown her the videos of me being crazy back then," she shrugged before motioning towards the door. "Come on, you can help me put Bandit to bed, after I ask her how her day went."
"Alright," Missy nodded, picking up one of Lynz's band tees on the way out, pulling it over her head.
Lynz walked ahead of Missy, stopping in the doorway of her four year olds bedroom, Bandit was dressed in her batman pj's, she was just about to jump off the bed, when Lynz ran up and grabbed her by waist; the room was filled with giggles of a four year old. Missy found herself smiling at the sight, as she leaned against the door frame.
"Alright, Lady B, time for bed," Lynz told her, making the child sit down on the bed.
"Mommy!" Bandit jumped in her spot, excitement filling her body. "Guess what we did today!"
Lynz smiled at her daughter, noticing the slight cringe Missy made behind them. "Hmm...I don't know...did you ride a tiger??" She tickled the already giggling child.
"No!" Bandit laughed, falling back on her back.
Lynz smiled at that before lying down beside her child. "Well, then I have no clue, tell me." She looked out the corner of her eye, noticing Missy's stiff form.
Bandit took a deep breath, before telling Lynz about her day. "First, Auntie Missy tried making breakfast and she burnt EVERYTHING," she giggled. "Which was awesome cause I got to scrape the black off the toast and have my favorite breakfast, Coco-puffs, I showed her where my clothes are and where my dirty ones go, then I got to teach her how to tie my shoes," she nodded, as if extremely proud of herself. "So then we went shopping, and I took her to my favorite clothing store," she got silent for a second, before smiling. "When we went to get my shoes, we saw some picture people, who were taking pictures of us, Aunt Missy got us out of there quick. And she let me tell her about the mean old lady who doesn't like us." She smiled up at her mom, "Then we went to the store and Aunt Missy didn't even get mad when I accidentally broke some jars. Then we went to the park, I saw ducks and had ice cream, but Auntie Missy dumped her ice cream, I said she could have some of mine, but she said she wasn't hungry," Bandit took another deep breath. "When we got home, she watched me do flips and tricks like you, though she wouldn't let me play with your bass," she pouted a little at that before shrugging. "Oh! And we got to have Jack and the Box, cause Aunt Missy cooked the Macaroni noodles to long and they turned to a big glop of gooey stuff."
Lynz chuckled at that, happy to see her daughter so pleased with her lover. "So you had fun?"
"Yep!"
Missy walked over, before sitting down next to the two. "I had a good day too, B." She smiled as the little girl reached up and hugged her.
Bandit smiled while sitting down on Missy's lap, Lynz slowly got up from the bed going to stand near the small bookshelf in the corner of the room. "Thanks Aunt Missy," Bandit placed her hands around Missy's neck, giving it a small squeeze. "I had lots of fun," she placed a kiss on Missy's cheek. "I'm glad you're my momma, Aunt Missy."
Missy smiled at that, feeling tears prick the back of her eyes. "Me too," she kissed the girls cheek.
"Okay," Lynz smiled, grabbing their attention. "How book do you want to read tonight, B?"
Bandit looked up excitedly at that, she jumped off Missy and ran over to her mom. "This one!" She pulled out 'Heidi' before handing it off and skipping back to the bed. "Come on, Aunt Missy," she pulled Missy down to lay next to her, cuddling into her side.
"Alright," Lynz smiled, pulling over the gray and purple striped armchair. "Heidi," she read the title before opening it to the first page.
