It was October 20, 1998 Lucy was getting ready for school. Lucy is a Senior in her private school of Poland Spring Academy of Androscoggin county in Maine. Lucy got on her uniform before the bus came. She had to run downstairs putting her long hair in it's ponytail that was blue that matched her checkered skirt, blue blouse and white over shirt. Lucy grabbed an apple before running out of the house. She is 18 years old and live on her own. Lucy got by even though her parents died when she was eight years old. Lucy got into this school thinks to the government and her best friends Katie Martinez and Leon Martinez. They were brother and sister. A lot of people think they are cousins since they look nothing like each other minuse there eyes which are blue.

Either way Lucy ran out the door and down the driveway which she couldn't use just yet. When Lucy got on the bus she sat between Katie and Leon. Noticing they where not talking to each other she thought oh no they had another fight. She was wondering if she should ask or stay out of it. As Lucy thought about it Katie looked at her and smiled lightly.

“Guess what Lucy?” she asked as her smile got bigger.

Looked between Katie and Leon noticing that he started smiling when his sister started talking. “I don't know Katie what is it?”

Leon was the that answered. “We got front row seats to the World Wrestling Federation's Raw that you're favorite wrestler will be at.”

“Hold on you mean you two got tickets to Raw where Jeff Hardy will be on. And they are front row tickets?” Lucy couldn't believe what he was saying.

Katie smiled more seeing the unbelievable look on her face. “That is right also we got backstage pass where we can go after the show is over with.”

Leaning over hugging her then hugged Leon right after. Lucy couldn't get that smile off of her face. After they let that out on her they started talking to each other again. So they where not mad at each other. They just had nothing to say at the time she got on the bus. Though it seemed like them. Since they didn't want Lucy to know about the show.

As they got to school they went straight to their lockers and their classes. Lucy and Katie have most of the same classes with each other. The only time the girls seen Leon during the day was during lunch and gym. Katie was as usual her smart self and helped Lucy when she needed it. Lucy was really glade that she was there. If she wasn't Lucy didn't think that she would have made it this far in school and in life.

After school finished, Katie and Leon came over to her house like always to do their homework. It was cool that even though Leon wasn't in any of the girls classes he has the same homework. Every once in a while his where different though mostly he had the same as theirs. So all of the homework was the same most of the time. Lucy was still smiling since they gave her the news.

“Lucy.. earth to Lucy.” Katie was saying to her as she thought more about seeing Jeff then her homework.

“Oh sorry Katie I was just thinking of seeing Jeff Hardy. You two have known how much I've been waiting to met him. And now I can thanks to you two.” Lucy told them smiling more.

“I told you she would be happy Katie.” Leon said still doing his homework. “Lucy I will never understand what you see in wrestling.”

Lucy couldn't help but to smile more. “Maybe you will see tonight when we go to the show Leon. It's fun to watch them. I think you will like Jeff. Though he just got out of his jobber phase. He is going to be facing tag team for the tag team champion with his big brother Matt Hardy. He loves to fly around the ring. He's exciting to watch. You never know what he is going to do next”

“Isn't that The Brood if I remember correctly Lucy.” Katie was saying

“Oh you did listen when I was talking about it. I hope they win. I would love to see those belts around their waists again.”

Katie sighed lightly. “We need to finish our homework first Lucy.”

“I know Katie.” Lucy said looking down at her Social Studies homework. Oh how much Lucy hated Social.

When everyone was done with their homework. Leon and Katie went home to change out of there uniforms. Lucy decided to make a sign for Jeff and Matt Hardy. Though she loved Jeff more she wasn't about ready to leave Matt out. After Lucy was satisfied with her sign of Jeff and Matt Hardy rocks Lucy went up to change and shower to get ready for wrestling and seeing her favorite Jeff and Matt Hardy.

Lucy put on her arm warmers, one of her teeshirts, and her baggy jeans which neither Katie nor Leon never seen none of these on her besides her arm warmers. They where just like Jeff's that Lucy made herself. He makes his everyday himself. Which Lucy found out thanks to her Jeff Hardy newsletters. Lucy went downstairs to wait for them to get there as she put on her sneakers. Then Lucy started thinking that they were going to be out for a while and that they will not be back before dinner time. Lucy wondered what she was going to eat and how much time she had. Since Lucy didn't know when Katie and Leon were going to be back to pick her up but she was sure it was going to be soon.

So after about an hour passed Lucy had dinner on he table for all three of them. It was chicken and buttered noodles. Katie's favorite was the buttered noodles and Leon's was the Chicken. They never liked to stay home if they could help it. So Lucy had their favorite food here. Just as she got the plates and the food on them the doorbell rang. Lucy went over opening the door letting them in so that everyone could eat then get out of here to get to the show. Lucy didn't want to miss this for anything.

“Oh Chicken and buttered noodles Lucy. This is great.” Leon said to her

Lucy smiled at him nodding her head. “I thought that we couldn't have time to eat afterwards so we mind as well eat now.”

“Good idea Lucy.” Katie was saying as everyone went to the dinning table.

All of them sat down eating not really talking there would be more talking later after or during the show. Lucy for one knew they would be fine and would have fun though both Leon and Katie didn't really like wrestling. They would still like seeing the action up close and personal.

When they got there the area was packed with people already. It was hard to get to that front row but all of them made it. Lucy looked up at the ring and was loving the view. Lucy could see everything but what was at the other side of the ring that was what the screen was for. Though she would have been able to see the next person coming down the ramp. Let's just hope that Jeff and Matt where going to win this.

As she looked at her watch someone came down the ramp, she could tell cause some people where screaming. So Lucy looked up to see who came down and it was Jeff Hardy. He was getting in the ring when she saw him.

“Katie.. Leon... it's Jeff” Lucy told them.

Jeff took one of the microphones. “Hello everyone that's here.”

Jeff went to one of the turnbuckles to get a look at the crowd already. Lucy swore he smiled right at her that got her smiling to watch him smile as he was standing on the second rope.

“I said hello everyone.” He screamed in the microphone.

Everyone replied to him this time which got a huge smile on his face. She couldn't help but admire the way he looked tonight with his eyes glowing with that smile.

“Alright that's what I wanted to hear. Now is everyone ready for some fun times that you will never forget?” Jeff was saying as everyone yelled out to agree with him. “That's great everyone. This is going to be a wonderful show. Me and my brother Matt Hardy will be winning the tag team champion titles.”

Everyone really screamed that time. That's when Lucy noticed that there was a lot of Jeff Hardy fans out here so soon. And she was the lucky one with the front row ticket thanks to her two best friends.

“Well, I have to get to that back now and get ready.. I will see everyone later on tonight.” Jeff said as he jumped down getting out of the ring putting the microphone on the ring running to the back.

Lucy kept her eyes on him until she couldn't see Jeff no more. Oh he looked so good tonight. He looked a lot better in person then he did on the television. The way he smiled to the sparkle in his eyes when he saw everyone. Jeff got everyone worked up. It was great to be one of the first ones here. If they didn't get there early then she would have missed Jeff already. She was sure they switched the wrestler every night that they preformed. But the thing that counted with her was that it was Jeff Hardy and for that she was happy

At around nine o'clock at night the show started. Oh it seemed like forever until Lucy heard Jeff's music and saw him again. Jeff was wearing a different outfit all together. He had on his wrestling boots, his baggy black pants, and his shirt that you usually see him in. Of course he had paint all over him. But dang he looked good. Jeff went around the ring slapping everyone's hands, of course Lucy put hers out there. So she could touch his arm which Jeff didn't have a problem with. Oh he was so muscular, Lucy loved it. Then she couldn't stop thinking that she was going to see him later that night behind the stage type of a thing and yet again she couldn't get the smile off of her face.

As Lucy watched Jeff wrestle she enjoyed every minute of it. Lucy wanted to see more of everything. Watching him do his high flying moves, hurting himself a few times. Matt picked up the win for them while Jeff was on the ground next to the three of them. Lucy could tell he was hurt but she couldn't do anything. John “Bradshaw” Layfeild didn't seem to care that he hurt Jeff which made Lucy was mad cause they weren't to hurt each other. Matt got out of the ring helping his brother up. For some reason he looked right at her. Their eyes met each others she had never seen Matt's eyes so close before. His brown eyes looked so good. When Matt got Jeff to his feet Lucy had both of them looking at her. Lucy felt like she couldn't move as she was looking at Jeff's face when Matt gave him his belt. Jeff was smiling and Lucy could see it in his eyes how happy he was. Lucy had a feeling she was going to get to know Jeff more then any other fan in this crowd.

Jeff wobbled a little bit starting to go forward. If it wasn't for Matt he would have fell right back on the floor. Lucy didn't even notice that she had reached out to him so that he didn't hurt himself. The reason she noticed was cause Jeff's arm was in her hand. He was sweating more then she ever thought he would have been. But it didn't stop Lucy from holding him up a little bit. That might have been the reason why Jeff was looking at her more. Jeff and Matt pulled from her going back to the lockers. Lucy never felt happier in her life then when she was holding Jeff up a little bit.

That is when Lucy looked down at her hand that was on Jeff's arm and she saw she had some of his paint on her hand which got her to smile even more. The rest of the show was a bit of a blur to Lucy since she was more excited about meeting Jeff backstage to actually talk to him. Katie was the one that snapped Lucy out of her thoughts.

“Lucy we might want to get backstage. After all we only have a few minutes backstage with the Hardy's.” Katie was saying taken Lucy's hand taken her to the backstage.

Lucy smiled thinking Katie in her mind that she didn't take her right hand which had Jeff Hardy's paint still on it. Maybe he would paint her arm if she asked. Lucy looked at Katie smiling more.

“What is so funny Lucy?” Leon asked from behind her.

Lucy looked back at him. “Oh nothing much. Just thought that maybe if I take off the arm warmers then Jeff might paint my arm.”

“Why would you want something like that?” Katie asked.

It was Leon that answered. “Cause it's Jeff and he is an artist.”

“Thats right. It's Jeff and he's an interesting artist.” Lucy told Katie as they went backstage to find the Hardy's.

They found them both in the locker room goofing off and playing around. It looked like they were wrestling with each other. Lucy, Katie, and Leon just stood there watching them wrestle each other playfully. It was different to see them wrestle in the ring and what they were doing right now. The three didn't want to interrupt them so they let them go, watching them laughing and playing with each other.

Leon broke there fighting up and the silence between the friends “This is a different look at Jeff and Matt Hardy.”

Jeff looked up at them smiling “We do this once in a while after all we are brothers.”

“I thought you where really hurt out there Jeff.” Lucy said with worry in her voice.

Jeff got up off of his brother looking at Lucy. “I'm alright. When I get hurt it doesn't hurt for long.”

“That's just cause you have so much pain meds” Matt told him.

“Yeah they help.” Jeff said sitting in a chair putting his foot on Matt when he went to get up. “You must be Lucy, Katie, and Leon right?”

“That's us. The one that wanted to see you the most is this one right here.

Lucy Marie Carter.” Katie said pointing at Lucy who is blushing lightly.

Jeff got up standing on his brother for a little while going over to Lucy.

“It's nice to see you where we can actually talk to each other instead of just seeing

each other in front of everyone in the world.”

Lucy blushed a little more nodding to Jeff since she understood what he

was talking about. “It is nice to see you.”

Katie nor Leon have ever seen Lucy look so nervous or never so red. Katie

was starting to wonder if they would really talk or just stand there looking at each

other. Though Katie was also thinking that maybe they didn't have to talk but they

might be talking to each other though their eyes which seemed to be the case as

Jeff carefully took Lucy's hand taken her over to his locker pulling out paints and

painted her arm from the bottom of her sleeve all the way down to her wrist.

Lucy smiled at Jeff as he painted on her arm putting the Hardy boys symbol

in the middle of her arm. He started to paint it in when he stopped looking at her.

“What's you're favorite color?” Jeff asked her..

Lucy looked at him. “Baby Blue.”

Jeff nodded his head. Then he started mixing the colors to get the right one

then colored in the Hardy symbol with the blue. Lucy noticed how Jeff was smiling as he was colored it in. Lucy watched this look on his face smiling herself since she couldn't keep it off of her face.

Jeff pulled away. “There you go Lucy all done.”

Lucy bowed her head. “Thank you Jeff.”

Lucy and Jeff stood up at the same time almost hitting their heads together

which they just laughed off. Matt shook his head at his little brother. While Leon

and Katie shook their heads at both of them.

“They are to much alike.” Katie told Leon.

Leon nods his head in agreement. “That is true they are a lot like each

other.”

Lucy smiles at Jeff. “Thank you so much for this.”

“Now I need to tell you. Don't leave it on over night. Or it might give you a

rash I'm not allergic to it or anything but I fell asleep with it on and I broke out big

time.” Jeff said with a serious look on his face.

Lucy understood what he was saying so she nodded her head with a smile on her face. “I understand thank you so much Jeff.”

Jeff smiled at her. “Not a problem.”

Jeff walked over to his bag looking though it for something. After he found it he walked back over to Lucy handing her something. Lucy looked in her hands seeing the tickets and backstage pass.

“What are these for?” Lucy asked him looking at Jeff.

Jeff smiled before replaying her. “These are passes for the entire year. As long as the WWF is near you can come back and met the wrestlers even if it is smackdown.”

Lucy without think goes right over hugging him. “Thank you so much Jeff.”

Katie sighs lightly. “Sorry to break this up but Lucy we need to go. We have school tomorrow.”

Lucy pulled from Jeff. “Thank you Jeff. I will never forget this and please try to come back soon.”

“Will try Lucy will try.” Jeff said as Lucy, Katie, and Leon all leave the room.

Lucy couldn't stop smiling all the way home and even when she got home she couldn't go right to bed so she took a picture of the paint trying to get most of it in one picture but that didn't work. Before Lucy went to bed she took a shower to wipe the paint away though she didn't want to but she listened to Jeff either way. Then Lucy went to bed.
