His arms locked around her tightly. Bam pressed his face into the top of her head. Lenny’s backpack fell to the ground with a muffled thud. He could feel her warm tears soaking the front of his shirt.

“I wasn’t sure you were coming.” She whispered.

“I didn’t even know until the last minute.” He told her, burying his hand in her hair. She finally pulled away from him.

Even though her eyes were red and swollen, and her nose was running a little bit, she’d never looked more beautiful to him than she did at that moment.

“Why didn’t you just ask me to stay, Bam? Why?” she asked, her hands clutching fistfuls of his shirt.

“I don’t know. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” He pulled her close again, rocked back and forth there at the train station.
“I should have asked you to stay. I should have.”

“I love you so much.” Lenny whispered. Bam lifted her backpack and slung it over his own shoulder. Silently, he picked her up and carried her out of the station and to his Hummer.

“I’m taking you home where you belong.” He declared as he buckled her in. He climbed in to his own side and started the car.

“Maman’s shipping my stuff back to me. I couldn’t even get on the train. I just stood there, and I realized that it was going to take me so far away from you. That wasn’t the way I needed to leave. I didn’t want to leave you at all.”

“I love you, Helena.”

“Are you sure? Bam, I don’t want to go back to not being sure. If you love me, then be sure you love me.”

“I’m sure,” he promised. He began to drive back to the Castle.

“There you are.” April was waiting with her hands on her hips. “I’ve been waiting for a phone call to say whether or not you’d gotten her. Come in, Lenny dear.” She pulled the girl in.
“Did your mother leave okay?”

“Yeah, everything’s fine. She’s calling me when she gets home.” Bam didn’t let go of her hand.

“That’s good.” April looked at her son. “I’m glad you decided to stay.”

“I didn’t have much choice.” She shrugged. Bam bent and kissed her, right by her ear.
“I belong to him.”

“And I like what’s mine to be near me.” April just nodded and turned back to the stove.

Bam pulled Lenny upstairs, barely letting her feet touch the steps. She followed along as best she could, clearly confused about why they needed to go upstairs that second.

She quickly found out when her boyfriend’s lips were pressed roughly against hers. His hands found their way up her shirt and underneath her bra, gripping her breasts. He could leave bruises on her.

The thought excited her.

She moved her hips restlessly against his. Their bodies seemed to have been longing for this. He pressed his pelvis into hers and broke the kiss with a groan.

“I want you.”

“I know,” she smirked. “How fortunate that you have me.” With a growl, he picked her up and tossed her onto the bed.
