When Toshiya entered the room, Kaoru and Kyo were already there, sitting at the table and it looked like they didn’t really do anything.
“Good morning, guys” Toshiya smiled and came up to them. “Shinya and Die aren’t here yet?”
“They won’t be here” Kaoru answered and Toshiya couldn’t help but feel relieved at hearing this. He didn’t think he could handle facing Die right now.
“But does it mean that they’re back together?” Toshiya looked at the two and Kyo shrugged.
“They must be, because Shinya sent a message to Kaoru that he and Die won’t come to work today. That must mean good news.”
Kaoru nodded and Toshiya even breathed in relief. “I was a tiny bit worried, but now it’s great to know that they will make things right. So… what now? I mean, what are we doing today?”
“First of all I need to call Shinya and make sure they’re alright. And that Die is eating and feeling fine. Then we’ll decide what to do next.”
Kaoru took out his mobile from the table and dialed Shinya’s number. It took quite a long time before Shinya answered.
“Hi Shinya, how are you? … And Die? … What’s wrong, Shin-chan?” Kaoru’s voice suddenly got worried and Kyo and Toshiya starred at him suddenly also feeling very worried. Kaoru listened for some time and nodded, even though Shinya couldn’t see any of it. He finally sighed and rubbed his eyes with his hand.
“Ok, Shinya, I trust you on this. Take care of him. Force him to eat, don’t let him out of bed. I will contact a private doctor for a consultation. Die perhaps needs some medicine, but we’ll let him rest at home. I will try to come with the doctor in the evening to see if Die needs any serious medicine. Perhaps just IV would do the trick… If we take him to the hospital, they will never let him out…. Ok, I’ll call you later then. Take care of him, Shinya. Bye.”
Kaoru put the phone down and was met by a very concerned looks from Kyo and Toshiya.
“Die’s doing not too bad, don’t worry too much.”
“If he needs a doctor, it sounds like he is really sick” Kyo frowned and Kaoru sighted.
“Shinya said Die fainted yesterday and this morning he fainted again. He’s very weak, but Shinya is already making him eat.”
“But… but what about the tour? We’re leaving so soon…” Kyo leaned in his chair, feeling suddenly very concerned.
“First of all I will find a doctor and come to see Die with him. Depends on what doctor says… But the fact is that we cannot postpone or cancel the tour. We’ll have to take extra good care of him and have him up only when it’s time to play on stage. I think he will manage that. Shinya will make him stay in bed until we leave for the tour…”
“Sounds sensible enough…” Toshiya said and Kyo nodded.
“I think we’ll manage to end the rest of the preparations for the tour alone. I will have to accept the fact that now it’s just paper work and packing for us. No more rehearsals and other preparations that are not deadly necessary, but wouldn’t hurt to be done…”
“We’re as ready as ever, Kaoru” Kyo smiled. “I think now it’s the most important for Die to get better so that he’d feel fine and ready for the tour. We’ll do the last most necessary preparations ourselves.”
Toshiya nodded smiling.
“I am so happy that they made up…”
“Me too, Toshiya” Kaoru said, but he didn’t look too happy. Kyo pushed his chair closer to Kaoru and put his hand on his knee in an attempt to sooth him.
“Kaoru, we’ll be fine, don’t worry. If Shinya didn’t bring Die to the hospital, it means he’s not in a horrible condition. Shinya wouldn’t risk Die’s health if it was serious. And the rest of the stuff… we’ll manage just fine. Actually, I think we could go on tour tomorrow morning. We’re as ready as ever.”
Toshiya just nodded along and Kaoru had to admit that they were right. He was just worrying too much.
“Ok then. I’m going to make some calls. We need to let people know about the change of preparations for the tour and then I need to find a doctor who would go and see Die at home. Totchi, you just end your side of paper work and you can be free unless I need you. If I will, I’ll call you. Otherwise you can think of the rest of the days before the tour as a small bonus vacation.”
Toshiya grinned at hearing this and stood up.
“Thanks, Kao. I really need this time – me and Myvs are going not to see each other for so long.”
“Just have some rest as well” Kyo grinned and Toshiya smiled at him, feeling how his cheeks got hot. It was rare for him to get embarrassed for such a small thing.
“Ok then, I’m going to do my part of the paper work now. Oh…” he suddenly stopped and looked very nervous.
“What’s wrong?” Kaoru frowned and Toshiya sighed, suddenly looking very serious.
“I think I need to see Die before the tour… I have many things to… to make up to him… or just simply talk to him…”
Kyo and Kaoru nodded thoughtfully. They shouldn’t go on tour when Die and Toshiya still weren’t in good terms. It would be best to solve all their problems before going on tour.
“Let’s just make a meeting a day before leaving Japan. Just meet together, have a drink and you’ll then have a chance to dace Die” Kaoru suggested and Toshiya nodded.
“Ok, now I’m really going” Toshiya smiled again and waved. “See you guys later!”
Kyo and Kaoru nodded and watched Toshiya disappear behind the doors. When he was gone, Kyo turned to look at Kaoru.
“What can I do?” he asked and Kaoru thought for a moment.
“Can you just stick with me? Unless you want to go home and do your… stuff.”
“No” Kyo laughed and stood up. “Of course I want to help you. We’ll both make the last arrangements, Kao. And maybe we’ll be lucky enough to get home earlier today.”
Kaoru smiled at Kyo and nodded. It was a good perspective.

Shinya smiled a bit while watching Die eat a second big piece of a pie in a row. His appetite was getting better with each hour it seemed and it made Shinya happy. Die finished the cake and put the plate on the table next to the bed. Shinya stood up to take the plate and get back to the kitchen, but Die reached out and stopped him by grabbing Shinya’s arm.
“Wait, stay here.”
“I have to go think of what I’m going to give you for supper, Die” Shinya frowned a bit. “You can’t eat junk food, so I have to prepare something warm and healthy for you.”
“You’ll do it later. Just lie down here with me for a while. Please.”
Shinya smiled a bit and put the plate back on the table. He sat on the bed next to Die and Die immediately hugged his waist and put his head on Shinya’s lap. He sighed contently and closed his eyes.
“Feeling better?” Shinya asked and Die nodded. Shinya put his hand in Die’s hair and started playing with the strands. They stayed like that for some time and Die sighed.
“It still feels so unreal… I’m still afraid like you’re going to disappear any minute. As if it was one huge and cruel hallucination…”
Shinya smiled and stroked Die’s back with his other hand.
“I’m not going anywhere, so please don’t torture yourself with such thoughts anymore.”
Die smiled a bit and turned to lie so that he could see Shinya’s face. Shinya’s face as always looked so calm and kind and Die couldn’t help but become emotional again. He loved Shinya so much. And he had missed him so…
“I don’t want to go to any stupid tour” Die said and Shinya laughed.
“But we have to, so better use your free time now wisely.”
“Well, I can’t! We can’t even make love… and I missed your body so much…”
Shinya caressed Die’s cheek with his palm and sighed.
“Be patient, Die. We’ll have lots of time later. You know you need to get better and get back all your strength. Though… though I also can’t stand being so close to you, to your amazing body and not do anything about it…”
“Then we can try again!” Die got exited and sat up immediately. But because he did it so quickly, he for a moment felt very dizzy. When he opened his eyes, he saw Shinya looking at him with a knowing look in his eyes.
“We can’t,” Shinya said again. “You see for yourself that we can’t.”
Die lay back on the bed again and closed his eyes. He felt like swearing and spitting with rage because of this injustice.
“But you know what” Shinya said and lowered himself so that his lips were almost touching Die’s cheeks. “When you’ll feel ok again I swear not even a small tour bus bunk will stop me from ravaging you every night.”
Die gulped loudly and for a moment tried to will his erection away, because whenever Shinya talked dirty (and it was not often, mind you), he would immediately get hard. Shinya never talked just for the sake of talking, so whatever he promised, you could be damn sure that you will get it.
“And the best part of it all is” Shinya added, “that even Kaoru wouldn’t dare to say something against it.”
Die grinned and turned so that he could kiss Shinya on the lips. The kiss got too heated and Shinya finally reluctantly drew back.
“Ok, that’s getting too dangerous” he smiled a bit and Die moaned in displeasure, thinking that maybe this would make Shinya not to go yet. But Shinya just smiled affectionately and stood up.
“Rest now, Daisuke. Kaoru will be coming with a doctor and perhaps Kyo in the evening, so you need to be feeling as best as you can. Take a nap now while I’ll figure what to prepare for you for supper.”
Die nodded and closed his eyes. He was half-hard already and thought that maybe a nap would make it go away. He knew he was not yet strong enough for things like that, but he couldn’t help but want Shinya badly. The separation was too long and too painful for him. But for now he was just happy that they were finally together. He already had lost all his hopes and when life seemed to be crumbling apart, Shinya appeared at his doorstep and…
Die heard Shinya’s footsteps and he drew the blanket up to his nose. Yeah, Shinya was finally here with him again. And the rest of it… He was not a child. He knows he needs to get better, because the tour was already here. And then when he will be in his best health again…
Die couldn’t help but grin under the blanket. Guys would have to party out of the bus a lot if they wouldn’t want to witness something unpleasant for their eyes and ears. He was not going to hold back longer than necessary. Of that he was sure.
So he fell asleep almost feeling how Shinya’s body feels underneath him. How Shinya clings to him, circling his arms around his neck and locking his hips with his legs as if he would never let go. Of how Shinya would look at him, his eyes full of emotions and desire, full of affection and devotion, full of all consuming love to Die, so strong that even Die himself doubted that anyone ever in this world loved him so much as Shinya did.
No. Nobody else wanted Die as much as Shinya wanted. Nobody else in the world loved Die, desired Die as badly as Shinya did.
No one.

Kyo grinned maliciously and Kaoru could just sigh and shake his head, thinking that it was hopeless to believe that he could ever change Kyo.
“So basically you only can eat, stay in bed and REST. Meaning, no other activities whatsoever” Kyo summed up after doctor’s visit. Die glared at him.
“Who invited you here, midget?” he shot back at Kyo, but Kyo just grinned back and seemed not to be offended.
“Whatever you say, but it’s still you who has to keep to these instructions!”
“Ok, Kyo, enough” Kaoru ruffled Kyo’s hair and stood up. “Shinya, I’ll help you in the kitchen. We will stay for supper with both of you.”
Shinya nodded and they both went out of the bedroom. Kyo turned to look at Die in the bed and smiled.
“Sorry, I should have held myself back.”
“Nah, it’s ok. I know you’re just being a pain in the ass on purpose, but the truth is you’re a sweet nice guy.”
Kyo grimaced in distaste but didn’t comment back anything.
“So, how are you feeling, Die?” Kyo asked, finally getting a bit more serious.
“I’m fine. I’m really better than ever before” he smiled and Kyo nodded, smiling back at Die. “Shinya’s here with me and that’s all I ever wanted.”
Kyo’s smile widened and he nodded again.
“I bet you can’t wait to get better?”
“Yeah” Die grinned and looked at the direction where the kitchen was. “But it’s ok, of course. We’re going to have some days alone before the tour and I’ll try to get enough of Shinya by that time.”
Kyo furrowed his eyebrows and Die quickly added:
“I know, I know we can’t, but we still can cuddle and whatever. And anyway… I think in the way that Shinya is feeding me I’ll be up and around in a day or two. I’m already feeling quite rested now.”
“That’s good to hear, Die” Kyo said. They chatted for a while until they were called to the kitchen for supper. After they ate, Kaoru and Kyo immediately excused themselves and went home. They didn’t need to be told that those two wanted to be together alone. They deserved it.
“It’s so great that things are now fine. And it happened so suddenly and unexpectedly” Kyo said. Kaoru nodded, dropping his bag on the back seat and starting to drive them home.
“It was the best news ever” Kaoru smiled. “I would have never guessed that things would turn out this way. I thought that in the best scenario Toshiya would stop hating Die so much and Die would just make peace with the break up. But this is beyond my wildest dreams.”
Kyo laughed and nodded.
“It feels great! I’m really happy for all of them!”
Kaoru looked at his lover affectionately.
“We have quite a lot of time still” he said. “What would you like to do?”
“Aren’t you going to freak out about the tour all the evening at home?” Kyo asked, looking skeptically at Kaoru.
“I’ll try not to… even though there’s still something I’m not so content with yet, but…”
“Ok, that’s all I want to hear. You have to choose – either you go nuts about the tour, or we do something together.”
“We do something together” Kaoru smiled thinking he’ll have to really try hard not to talk or even think about work at home. He had too many fights with Kyo over this. He didn’t want one more today.
“Well, that’s good to hear” Kyo said and relaxed in his seat. His stomach was full and he felt a bit sleepy. But he wanted to spend the evening with Kaoru, so he tried to will himself not to get too sleepy.
“Take a nap while I drive, Kyo” Kaoru chuckled, looking at how Kyo struggled to make his eyes remain open. “I’ll wake you up when we’ll be at home.”
Kyo nodded and closed his eyes. He fell asleep immediately. A smile remained on Kaoru’s lips all the way home. He loved to take care of Kyo as if Kyo was still a boy. He loved to spoil him and do things for him. And now from time to time he would glance at Kyo’s sleeping form in the seat and his heart filled up with warm feelings. He couldn’t wait to go home.
