-He WHAT?! –Kyo exclaimed. –You must be kidding!
-I’m not, unfortunately, -said Die looking all pissed off.
Kaoru wanted to know how everything ended for him and Shinya, so he asked Die to come over and now they all three were sitting in the kitchen.
-He won’t let you fuck him for a year? –Kyo asked.
-That’s what I said, -Die answered with every passing minute feeling worse.
Kyo suddenly started to laugh hysterically.
-That’s not fucking funny! –Die said.
-Oh my God! –Kyo managed to utter. –That’s just… oh I’m so sorry for you!
-Kyo, really, -Kaoru tried to stop him but he also couldn’t suppress a smile.
-Shin-chan got you under his thumb! No sex for poor Die for a year! God, he’s brilliant! –and Kyo kept laughing. Die crossed his arms on his chest and scolded.
-You think Shinya’s serious? –Kaoru asked.
-Yes. That’s the problem. But there’s no fucking way I’m not going to wait a year. I’ll try to make him change his mind.
-Won’t it make him even angrier?
-Yeah! –Kyo finally managed to stop laughing. –Be careful because he might prolong the time and make it two years!
-Shut up! –Die said. –It was so much better when you pretended you couldn’t speak!
-Oh, poor Daisuke, don’t be angry with me, -Kyo smiled. –I’ll tell you all the juicy details about my and Kaoru’s wild nights so you could later jerk off imagining us going at it!
Kaoru punched Kyo lightly on the head.
-Enough, Kyo! You had your fun, let him be!
-Oh, I suggest you not to be so violent, -Kyo smirked. –I might follow Shinya’s example and do the same thing to you!
-Yeah! Somehow I don’t believe that you could sleep with me in one bed and not do anything, -Kaoru smiled.
-You’re not helping me at all, -Die grumbled looking at them.
-But there’s nothing we can do, -Kyo said still grinning.
-You could try to talk to him, -Die suggested.
-Me?
-Yes. You’re good pals, he’ll listen to you!
-Maybe you really should, -Kaoru agreed. –I think it’s really too harsh. He could change it to six months at least, if he really wants to keep the punishment.
-He’s determined to keep it a year, -Die sighted. –I don’t know what got into him…
-But you were really tiring him out, Die, -Kaoru said. –You were screwing him whenever you got a possibility.
-But he liked it as well! It’s not like I was raping him whenever I got the chance!
-Calm down, will you? I’ll try to talk to him and change his mind. I really doubt you could endure a year without sex.
-I’ll try to change his mind myself, to… I don’t know… seduce him, -Die sighted. –But he really was serious. He said either I agree either we’re through. I never saw him so angry…
-Well, that’s just Shinya… -Kyo mused loudly. –He is very patient, but when something really gets on his nerves, he becomes a determined guy and strikes with a vengeance.
-Don’t sweat it, Die, -Kaoru patted him on the shoulder. –You’ll get through it! It’s not the end of the world!
Die didn’t say anything. He really felt now like it was the end of the world.

When Die came back home and opened the door, he immediately was greeted by a small dog, resembling Miyu. He looked strangely at it and went to the kitchen. The dog followed him, waggling its tale joyously.
-You’re back so soon? –Shinya glanced over his shoulder. He was making a steak for the dinner. –I haven’t finished yet, so you’ll have to wait a bit.
-Ok, I’m not that hungry, -Die answered and sat down. –Shin-chan, what’s that?
-What? –Shinya looked at Die and red head pointed his finger at dog.
-It’s Puppy, -Shinya smiled. –My mom brought him here while going to her job. He used to live at my parent’s house. Now I’ll keep him myself.
Die looked down at the dog again. Puppy still was at his feet looking happy. He obviously wanted Die to play with him. Die ignored the dog.
-So what did Kaoru want? –Shinya asked.
-Nothing important. Just wanted to know were you still mad about Miyu…
Shinya didn’t look at Die and kept preparing the meal.
-So this one will stay here for the weekend? –Die asked.
-No. I will keep him instead of Miyu now.
Die just sighted. He never could understand Shinya’s obsession with dogs. And not just normal dogs, but with these small cat-like or rat-like creatures. Die still couldn’t decide which one it was.
-Shinya, are you still angry with me?
-Yes.
Die stood up, came close to Shinya and hugged him from behind. He nuzzled Shinya’s neck and then kissed it lightly.
-Don’t be… You know I would never kill someone you love. It was an accident.
-I know…
Shinya turned around in embrace and faced Die. Then he put his arms around Die’s neck and kissed him lightly on the lips.
-You know I love you more than anyone in this world, Die… I won’t be angry with you forever…
-Then, -Die kissed Shinya on the lips again, -maybe we could go, -he kissed him on the neck, -to the bedroom and make it up?
Shinya’s face immediately fell and he withdrew from his lover.
-After a year we will go to the bedroom and make it up, -he said a bit angry. –Now I have to finish dinner.
He turned back again and went back to his work. Die scolded and sat down.
In the evening when they went to bed Die’s spirits were down. He didn’t want to believe that Shinya was really thinking to torture him like that for a year. They lied down and he snuggled closer to Shinya. Shinya faced him, put his arm on Die’s waist and closed his eyes.
-Oyasumi, -Shinya whispered.
-Oyasumi…
After some time Die felt that Shinya fell asleep. But he couldn’t do the same. Shinya was softly breathing on his chest and his slim legs were touching his legs. Die stroked lightly his lovers back loving him and hating at the same time. He wanted to feel Shinya’s naked body crushing to his, he wanted to feel Shinya’s sweating chest pressing to his chest, he wanted to slam right into his warm lubricated passage and fuck him senseless.
With a horror Die understood that he was hard. He tried to pull back a bit, but Shinya was hugging him and he couldn’t do it.
-Fuck! –Die swore silently. He suddenly became so angry that he wanted to turn Shinya on his stomach and screw him right here and then.
But of course he didn’t do it. Die endured half of the night feeling horny and extremely pissed off until he finally managed to fall asleep.

Shinya was a little surprised to see Kyo at his doorstep. Usually it was him who went to see the ex-vocalist.
-Come to the kitchen, I’ll make us something, -Shinya smiled.
Kyo sat comfortably on the chair and took a cigarette.
-Coffee or tee? –Shinya asked.
-Coffee, please.
-So did Die send you here? –suddenly Shinya asked.
-Why do you think that? –Kyo asked trying to hide his surprise.
-It’s obvious, don’t you think?
Kyo just nodded.
-So he did, then…
-But I would have come on my own anyway, -Kyo said. –I think you’re so unfair to him, Shinya.
-Kyo, don’t even start this conversation, please, -Shinya sighted tiredly. –I made up my mind and I’m not going to change it. Die needs to learn some discipline. He needs to learn to hold his mouth shut.
-But that’s impossible!
-Everything’s possible, Kyo. End of story.
Kyo took a sip of coffee and slowly a grin appeared on his face.
-But you had your fun out of it, didn’t you? –Shinya smiled.
-Hell yeah! –Kyo laughed. Shinya just smiled sympathetically.
-Where’s he anyway? –Kyo suddenly asked.
-Took Puppy for a walk.
-A what?
-Our new dog.
-Oh…
They talked for some more time and finally Kyo had to go. It was quite a busy day for him.
