Chapter 8
Junsu got to work early, he had talked to Yunho and he wanted Junsu to get the paperwork out of Rina’s desk and put it in a safe place, he didn’t want anyone to know that she’d had it. Junsu unlocked Rina’s office and was shocked at the destruction in the office, someone had broken her computer screen, broken open all the desk drawers, and papers were strewn all over the office. He backed out of the office and went back to his office to call Yunho.
He took Yunho to the office and showed him the mess, “Oh God, they know that she knows. She’s at the house alone, call her tell her to stay in the bedroom and lock the door, I’m on my way. Then call the police and get them here now,” he was running to the elevator.
Junsu called the house and let the phone ring, nobody answered. He called the police and reported the break in to Rina’s office and then called the house again. She answered on the fourth ring, “Hello,” she said.
“Thank God, Rina are you okay?” Junsu asked with relief.
“Yeah I’m fine, what’s the matter?” she asked, “you’re scaring me.”
“They know, your office was trashed this morning, Yunho’s on his way he said to lock yourself in the bedroom until he got there. Go now!” Junsu said in a raised voice.
“Hold on a minute,” she said. He could hear her talking he could tell that she was upset. “What are you doing here, get out of my house!!! No don’t….don’t hurt my baby!!!! JUNSU HELP ME……..”
The line went dead, Junsu told his secretary the police were on their way and he ran to go downstairs to his car, he took off toward Yunho’ s house to Rina.

Junsu jumped out of his car and ran into the house, Yunho was sitting at the table holding a paper in his hand and crying. He’d never seen a more pitiful sight, “Yunho, where is she?” he asked.
He looked up at Junsu with tears running down his cheeks, “They took her, they said that she and the baby would die and it was my fault,” Junsu took the note from Yunho’s hand and read it.
“Do you have any idea who these people are?” Junsu asked, his friend was gone and his heart was breaking. He had to find her he wouldn’t let anything happen to her.
Junsu’s phone rang, he grabbed it, “Hello,” he said. “You what, don’t tell anybody about this just get over to Yunho’s now, something’s happened, he needs to hear this himself.”
Yunho was listening intently to the one side of the conversation that he could hear. “What’s going on?” Yunho stood up from the chair.
“Micky’s on his way, he overheard a conversation about an hour ago, he’s been trying to find me. Seems that Lee Sun has some problems with you, do you know him?” Junsu asked.
“The name doesn’t sound familiar, but in my position I’ve managed to piss a lot of people off. Hell even you don’t like me!!” Yunho answered.
“It doesn’t matter how I feel, all that matters is that she loves you. If there were any doubts about how you felt about her they are gone now and I am sorry!! We will find her together,” Junsu reached out his hand, Yunho took it and they shook.
“What’s going on?” Micky asked as he came through the open front door.
Junsu and Yunho told him everything, then he told them what he had overheard. “When I walked into the room after he had left there was no one else there, but I’d swear he was talking to someone. He said that Yunho would pay for what he had done to his family, and Yunho’s family would be the down payment.” Micky told them. “He blames you and your father for losing his parents and he said that now you would lose your family. It was Lee Sun.”
“Oh my God, there was a man named Lee that worked with my father, he lost his position when he was caught embezzling. My father fired him and when he realized he would go to jail he killed his wife and then himself. My father made me go with him when he fired him but I had nothing to do with it, I don’t even know if they had children. Do you think that it could be?” Yunho’s pain was evident on his face, “We’ve got to find her, I’d rather die than lose her or for her to get hurt for something that my bastard of a father did.”
“Doesn’t sound like you cared much for your father?” Micky asked.
“In all honesty, I hated the bastard, the only good thing he ever did was leave me the company when he died. I never knew what love was until I met Rina, she and the baby are my life. I’m just sorry that it took so long for me to tell her so. But when she is safe she will know everyday what she means to me!!” Yunho told them.
“Then let’s go find her!!” Junsu exclaimed.
Yunho called his friend in HR and told him to pull the records on Lee Sun and meet him at Junsu’s office, Micky called JaeJoong and told him to take the girls to the house and stay there, they’d be back shortly and would explain everything. Yunho’s friend met them and gave him the requested information, “Do you think that he would be stupid enough to take her to his house?” Yunho asked.

She was on a bed but not hers, her hands and feet were taped together, she was blindfolded and gagged. She could hear him talking to someone, he was agitated. She remembered him showing up at her house, arguing, and him putting a rag over her face then she woke up here, “Oh God, Junsu, he was on the phone, her heard everything. Why hadn’t she said his name. What about Yunho…is he worried, scared? No she couldn’t doubt him now!!” Her thoughts were swirling around in her mind. “What must her girls think? She was glad they had Micky and Jaejoong, just in case….No she couldn’t start thinking like that, she and her baby would be okay, Yunho would find her, wouldn’t he?”
She heard movement, he was coming closer. He removed her blindfold, “So you’re finally awake, it’s about time. I guess that I over did it with the chloroform.” He laughed, the sound gave her chills.
“How long?” she asked her voice raspy from the gag and dry mouth.
“Since lunch yesterday,” he told her with a look that sent chills down her spine. “I’ve talked to your lover several times about you, he’s quite worried. He keeps threatening to do bad things to me if I touch you. I wonder how true to his word he will be.”
He moved closer she tried to back away from him, he leaned down to remove her gag and then started to kiss her, she bit him and he slapped her. She tasted blood, “You Bitch, you want to play rough, I can get into that too,” he started to unbuckle his belt and undo his pants.
“Don’t touch me again, he’ll kill you!!!,” realizing his intentions she screamed, “Don’t hurt my baby, please don’t!!!!”
She moved her taped hands to protect her stomach she cowered and tried to move. A strong arm came around his neck and jerked him backwards, “I warned you what would happen if you touched her, but you didn’t believe me did you? Well then let me show you!!!”
Yunho threw him against the wall grabbing his shirt collar with one hand and crashed his other into Lee Sun’s face, blood spewed from his nose. He never tried to defend himself from any of the blows that Yunho rained upon his face or body, even when the police pulled Yunho off and pushed Lee Sun face down on the ground he never raised a hand in his own defense.
Junsu had gone straight to Rina removing the tape from her wrists and ankles. He wrapped his arms around her and both of them cried, “How did you find me?” she asked looking into her friends face.
“I didn’t, he did,” motioning toward Yunho. “He hasn’t stopped going since he found the note and received the first phone call,” Junsu was grinning, “he really loves you, he’s been about to go mad with worry!” He helped her to stand.
“Yunho,” she called his name they started toward each other, he reached her as she collapsed in his arms, “It’s okay baby, I’m here now.” He whispered Junsu helped him to pick her up and he took her to the waiting ambulance.
“Will you please get the girls and get them to the hospital, I’ll meet you there,” he handed Junsu his car keys.
“Sure,” Junsu turned to walk away.
“Junsu,” he called.
“Yeah,” Junsu turned around and looked at him questionably.
“You are a great friend, Thank You,” Yunho said and bowed deeply.
Junsu grinned and bowed back, “And you had better keep your promise.”

Chapter 9
Junsu arrived at the hospital with Kate, Serra, Micky and Jaejoong, Yunho was pacing Changmin was sitting in a chair nearby watching his friend. Rina’s daughters rushed to Yunho, they each hugged him and told him thank you. “Have you heard anything yet?” Kate asked.
“Not a word,” he said, watching the door for any sign of movement.
“Rogers’ family,” the nurse called from the door. She led them down the hall to Rina’s room, Yunho let the girls go to her first. They were crying, laughing, and hugging, he’d never seen her look happier or more beautiful. The girls motioned for him to come over she patted the bed for him to sit next to her.
“My hero, you look exhausted,” she smiled at him. He reached up to gently brush his hand over her bruised cheek.
“I’m sorry that I didn’t find you sooner,” he said with tears in his eyes.
“The point is that you found me,” she leaned towards him and brushed her lips across his. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight.
“I have never been more scared in all my life, I had such terrible thoughts of what he was doing to you,” he said.
“He didn’t hurt me sweetie, except the slap but I kind of provoked that. I bit him,” she looked at him grinning.
He laughed at the look on her face, “You are incredible,” he said. “I love you.”
“I love you,” she said laying her head on his shoulder.
The doctor came in, “Rina everything looks fine, you were a little dehydrated, but other wise okay. How are you feeling?” he asked.
“Much better, can I go home now?” she asked.
“Yes you can, I’ll go get your release papers ready, I’ll see you in my office first thing next week, Ne?” he said.
“Yeah, I’ll be there,” she answered smiling, “Thank you!!”
Junsu, Micky and Jaejoong went to hug her and welcome her home. Yunho stepped to the side of the room and made a few calls. The nurse returned with the papers she signed them and they went home.
He helped her into the house and the girls helped her take a shower and change clothes. When they came out of the bedroom, there were flowers everywhere, it looked like a forest.
“Oh my God, their beautiful, when did you do all this?” she asked as Yunho came to her and wrapped his arms around her.
“It’s amazing what you can do with one phone call,’’ he pulled her close and kissed her head. “Do you want to lay down?”
“No, I’d rather spend some time with you and the others.” She said.
“These flowers pale in comparison to you, you are the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen,” he gently kissed her lips she wrapped her arms around his neck.
“I think that supper is ready, I also called ahead to have it fixed. I thought that you would want to rest and I wanted you to have a good meal first,” Yunho said and he took her hand and went towards the dining room, the others followed. He held her hand throughout the entire meal, he couldn’t bear the thought of her being out of his sight or too far away from him.
After supper they sat on the patio, those that could had drinks, Rina drank tea. She leaned back against him in the chaise lounge. His arms were around her and one hand was on her stomach, the baby was active. “I love you,” he whispered in her ear.
“I love you, too but if you don’t mind I think I’m going to lay down I’m tired.” She told them all that she loved them and got up to go into the house. He followed her, “I’m fine baby, you don’t have to come with me,” she told him.
“There’s no where else that I would rather be, I’m not ready to let you out of my sight just yet.” He said, “Unless you don’t want me with you!!?!”
She stopped and turned towards him, “I didn’t mean it that way, I’ll always want you with me,” she took his hand and they walked together to their shared room.
They were both exhausted he held her close, they went to sleep almost instantly. She was restless Lee Sun was still haunting her in her dreams. Yunho had awakened when she started tossing and turning, he tried to comfort her and let her know that he was there and everything was okay. Finally she turned towards him and settled down, he could feel the baby, she was restless too. He held her close saying a silent prayer of thanks that she and the baby were back with him safe and relatively unharmed.
He lay awake for a time thinking about all that had happened since he’d met her at the party, he had never felt for anyone what he felt for her, and the life growing inside her. He never thought that he would find someone that he could love that would love him back, she had changed his life all for the better. It took almost losing her to make him realize how much they meant to him.
She called his name, “I’m here sweetheart, are you okay?” he asked.
“Yea, I’m fine. I love you.” She said snuggling closer, “Ask me again.”
“Marry me?” he asked.
“Yes, a thousand-million times YES!!!” she told him.
He sat straight up in bed, pulling her with him, “Really?!? I love you so much, I promise to spend the rest of my life proving that to you everyday!!!” He kissed her, she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him back down on to the bed. She deepened the kiss opening her mouth their tongues dancing together.
“I need you,” she told him as his hands found their way under her top.
“I want you, will it be okay I don’t want to hurt the baby,” he said between kisses.
“It’s okay, make love to me you’re driving me crazy!!” she said pulling him down for another kiss.
He snatched her top open, buttons flying across the room, he sat up long enough to take his shirt off. He was kissing her jaw and neck he moved to her breasts nipping and sucking, she tangled her hands in his hair and moaned his name. He placed his hands on either side of her stomach then planted a kiss there, “I love you too baby girl!” he said before moving back up. “I never knew what love was until you. I love you so much, it hurts. Please don’t ever leave me I don’t think that I could live without you,” He said then covered her mouth with his.
“Oh baby, I couldn’t live without you either I’ll never leave you,” she reached down to palm his groin, he groaned at her touch. He helped her take off her bottoms then removed his, she reached down and guided him into her he thrust into her causing her to scream his name. They were moving together, “Oh God, I’m coming baby,” she moaned.
“I’m with you,” he said as they rode out their orgasms together. He collapsed next to her they were both breathing hard and trying to steady their hearts.
“I’m cold,” she said, he reached to pull the covers up and pressed a kiss to her sweat covered forehead. “I love you,” she said sleepily. Her breathing became even and he knew that she had gone to sleep she had her back to him so he lay his arm over her and put his hand on her stomach. The baby had also calmed down some, the movements were gentler he fell asleep feeling their baby move.

When she woke up the next morning he was gone, she turned over and saw him standing at the window in his robe drinking coffee. She called his name, he turned and came to sit next to her on the bed, “Good morning beautiful, how are you feeling?” he asked as he leaned over to kiss her.
“Like the luckiest woman in the world, how about you?” she asked as she lay her head in his lap.
“Like the most loved and blessed man that ever lived.” He brushed her hair back so that he could see her face.
“Well it looks like you won not one, but two battles,” she said looking at him laughing.
“Oh really, how’s that?” he asked curiosity written on his face.
“Well I can’t plan a wedding and work, then there is the question that you finally got your answer to.” She said smiling.
“I accept your resignation,” he pulled her up to him kissing her again. “I love you!”
“And I love you with all that I am,” she winced in pain grabbing her stomach.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” he asked panic in his voice.
She laughed, “It’s okay, she just decided to stretch and kick at the same.”
“I feel asleep last night feeling her move, they were gently movements almost as though she understood that you needed to rest,” he told her. “Everything about this pregnancy just takes my breath away, it’s a dream that I never thought would ever come true, but you…..you are my miracle!!!” he had tears in his eyes as she pulled him down with her.
“Come back to bed, it’s cold and too early to get up. Are you going to work today?” she asked.
“No, I’m not ready to be that far away from you just yet. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to leave you again,” he told her.
“Always remember that you carry my love with you, and that I will always be here waiting for you to come home to me,” she was looking into his eyes she smiled as he leaned down to kiss her. He lay down next to her pulling her close.

Chapter 10 Part A
They decided to keep the engagement to themselves they would have a dinner party for her girls and their friends and announce it then. She made the arrangements it was set-up for the following Saturday night. Kate and Serra said that they could get someone to take care of the bar so that they could be there along with Jaejoong, Micky, and Junsu. Yunho also wanted to invite Changmin, once all the invites had been made and accepted she made the arrangements.
Saturday came quickly, Yunho had gone back to work though he had cut back on his hours to be with her as much as possible. He had not gotten over the fear that if he left her something would happen, so he stayed close and in constant contact with her. She kept her follow up appointment with the doctor and he was pleased with everything, her and the baby were doing fine.
Everyone was gathered in the den enjoying appetizers and drinks, when Yunho took her hand and they went to stand in front of the fireplace. “We have an announcement to make, if I could get everyone’s attention please,” Yunho said.
“I know that my past actions have not been….very gentlemanly, but this wonderful woman came into my life and she has taught me so much. I truly know now what love is she has shown me how to be unselfish, caring, and most of all what it means to love someone more than life itself.” He said looking at her with tears in his eyes, she smiled at him, “And she has finally agreed to become my wife, which is why we are all here tonight. We wanted to share this news with our family first.”
He took a small jewelry box from his pocket and opened it in it was a platinum band with the most beautiful diamond cut sapphire surrounded by diamonds that she had ever seen, now it was her turn to cry. He placed the ring on her finger, “It’s a perfect fit, like we are.” He said as he drew her to him he leaned down and kissed her. “I love you.”
“I love you,” she told him as she wrapped her arms around him and laid her head on his shoulder. The girls came to their Mother and hugged and kissed her and Yunho telling them congratulations. Then it was everyone’s turn to come to them and offer congratulations, hugs and kisses.
“I’ve never seen you look happier or more beautiful, you are the sister that I never had and I love you.” Junsu told her as he kissed her cheek and hugged her. “May you always be as happy as you are right now!”
“Thank you, but I do have a big favor to ask of you.” She said looking for his reaction. “Would you walk me down the aisle and give me away?” she asked hopefully.
“I would be honored, but can we not say ‘give you away’, how about share?” he asked laughing.
“Whatever makes you happy, thank you.” She told her friend giving him another hug.
They gathered in the dining room for supper laughing and talking truly celebrating the announcement that had just been made. After supper they went back to the den and opened a bottle of champagne, Rina took just a sip in celebration, he never left her side. She was happy to have all the people that meant the most to her together.
She wasn’t feeling well, she hadn’t felt the best all day so excused her self to go lay down for a while, the girls went with her. She came out of the bathroom and told them to go get Yunho, something was wrong, she was bleeding.
He rushed to her side, when she told him what was happening she was crying, “It’s okay baby, I’ll take care of everything,” he carried her to the car and sped off towards the hospital. The others followed.
He was pacing again when the doctor came out personally to talk to them, “With everything that’s been going on she’s under a lot more stress than she let’s on. She is going to need to rest more, so I’m putting her on strict bed rest for a few days and I want to see her back in my office next week.”
“Can we see her?” Yunho asked.
“Of course, I’ll have the nurse come get you and take you to her room,” the doctor said as he walked away.
They were taken to her room she was sitting up in bed they could see that she had been crying, he went to her, “What’s wrong baby?” he asked as he took her hands in his.
“Somehow I always manage to make a mess of everything!” she said fresh tears wetting her face.
“You have not made a mess of anything,” he told her wiping her tears away with his fingers. “I only want you and the baby to be okay, promise me that you will do what the doctor asks and rest for a few days.”
“Okay, I’m sorry to be such a problem,” she told him. He kissed her and held her close.
“You are not a problem, you are the most important thing in my life, never forget that,” he told her.
“Are you sorry yet that you got involved with me?” she asked. “I….”
“Not another word, I will not sit here and let you talk about yourself like this. You and this baby are the sole reason for my existence, without you I would be nothing, just as I was when I found you,” He told her holding her face in both of his hands, “I love you now let’s get you home, okay.” He kissed her nose and smiled.

Chapter 10 Part B
She was miserable having to stay in bed was driving her crazy, not to mention that Yunho the warden was making sure that she stayed there. He had the girls stay with her when he was not there with strict orders that unless she was going to the bathroom, she was not to be up. The highlight of her days was when he would come home because she knew she would have his undivided attention he always had something to keep her entertained.
Today however it was not Yunho that came home it was Junsu that came to see her. “Hey sweetie, how are you doing?” he asked, noticing the disappointment on her face.
“I’m bored and miserable, where’s Yunho? He’s okay isn’t he?” she asked worry creeping into her voice.
“He’s fine he got caught in a meeting and sent me to keep you company. He thought that maybe you needed to see somebody’s face besides his. Naturally I volunteered, I haven’t had a chance to talk to you in a while I hope that you’re
not too disappointed!!?!?!” he told her.
“Of course not, I’ve missed you,” she said as she leaned up to kiss his cheek and hug him.
“When do you go back to the doctor?” he asked.
“Tomorrow, thank God I hope that he’ll let me get up and do something besides sit in this damn bed.” She said pouting.
Junsu laughed at the look on her face, “Well I brought us a movie to watch, it’s supposed to be a comedy I thought that you would need a laugh.” He was telling her as he started the movie and came back to sit next to her on the bed. He put his arm around her and she laid her head on his shoulder.
The movie was stupid, funny but in a stupid way, they laughed and when it was over they talked. “Am I doing the right thing? I always said that I would never get married again, but here I am,” she said. “I mean, what if he decides that I’m not what he wants? I don’t think that I could take that.”
“What’s got you feeling like this? You know how much he loves you, even I trust him with you that should say a lot. You don’t see how he is when he’s separated from you, he looks lost.” Junsu asked her with concern.
“I guess it’s just hormones, I just feel like I’ve caused so much trouble like I’m not living up to what he wants and needs,” she said tears running down her face.
“Now you stop that, he’s just as miserable when he has to come to work to leave you as you are when he’s not here.” Junsu pulled her close they stayed that way until she had cried herself to sleep.
Yunho came home and walked into the bedroom to find Junsu sitting on the side of the bed with Rina’ head on his shoulder, he raised his eyebrows, “What’s wrong? Has she been crying?” he asked.
Junsu put his finger over his lips and eased himself away from her laying her head on the pillow he motioned for Yunho to follow him. When they were outside the bedroom Junsu asked, “Have you noticed how depressed she is?”
“Yeah, and it’s breaking my heart I don’t know what to do to help her, any suggestions?” he asked Junsu could see the pain in his eyes.
“I have an idea, if you can keep her occupied for a while and will allow me to set things up, I think I know what will help.” Junsu said smiling.
“Have at it! If you need anything just let me know. Thank you!!” Yunho told him he turned to go back into the room with her. Junsu was really worried they both seemed to be depressed.

Chapter 10 Part C
When she woke up Yunho was sitting in the chair by the bed he had his briefcase opened and appeared to be looking at some reports, he hadn’t noticed that she was awake. She watched him her heart beating harder just knowing that he was home. “Hey baby, what’re you doing? Where’s Junsu?” she asked him.
He put down the paperwork that he had in his hand and went to sit next to her on the bed. “Just looking over some things from the office, how do you feel?” he leaned down and kissed her brushing her hair back.
“You want the honest truth? I feel completely useless..” she said, tears once again in her eyes.
“Oh baby, I wish that I knew what I could do to prove to you that you are not useless, you are so loved and important to so many people, I love you so much, it breaks my heart to see you so unhappy.” He told her.
“I’m sorry, I seem to only feel happy when you’re at my side and that’s being completely selfish,” she told him.
“Oh, I don’t know I kinda like the fact that you miss me so much when I’m not here,” he laughed, she gave him one of her best pouty faces.
“I want you so bad, it’s driving me nuts,” she smiled at him, he grinned back.
“Well maybe the doctor will give us the all clear tomorrow, if he does then I won’t be going to work,” he grinned as he flashed his eyebrows at her. She was laughing at him when there was a knock at the door. “Come in,” Yunho called out.
It was Junsu, “We’re ready whenever you are,” he told Yunho.
“We’ll be right there,” Yunho turned to her and smiled, “Junsu and the girls have quite the surprise for you, are you ready to go downstairs and see what it is?” She nodded and started to get up, “Oh no, you’re not supposed to up walking around,” with that he scooped her up in his arms and started down stairs.

The den had been transformed into what looked like a park in the middle was a red and white checkered blanket spread on the ‘ground’ with a picnic basket. “Oh my God, it’s beautiful,” she said as he set her down on her feet. Junsu and the girls beamed with pride they had done good, it seemed to be just what she needed. The doorbell rang and shortly after they were joined by Micky and JaeJoong, they kissed her cheek and told her she looked beautiful, she told them they needed to get their eyes examined.
“We had thought about making it just for you and Yunho then we remembered how sappy you get about family, so we decided to invite our selves too!!” Serra told Rina as she went to hug her, “I love you Momma.”
“I love you too baby, both of you very much,” she said beckoning for Kate to join the hug.
Yunho was beaming he hadn’t seen he this happy and relaxed in several days. He was very thankful to Junsu and the girls for setting this up. He helped her to ease down on the blanket and sat behind her so that she could lean against him, he lay his hand on her belly the baby was active, “I think that someone else is also happy,” he whispered into her ear.
“I love you,” she said those three simple words made him happier than anything else that could have been said.
The girls took the food out of the basket and handed out plates, instead of wine they had chilled bottles of grape juice. She enjoyed herself, but promised Yunho that she wouldn’t over do it. When all the food had been eaten and the grape juice was gone, they talked for a while when Yunho noticed that she was looking sleepy, “Are you tired, my love?” he asked.
“Yeah, just a little,” she told him. He stood and helped her up she thanked everyone for the ‘picnic’ telling them all that she loved them, he scooped her up in his arms she laughed and kissed him on the cheek. “My own personal prince charming come to carry me away,” she laughed he noticed that the sparkle was back in her eyes as she laid her head on his shoulder.
He told everyone to make themselves at home and stay as long as they liked, he carried her to their shared room and placed her gently on the bed. He undressed down to him boxers and crawled in bed behind her pulling her close. “You are more beautiful every day, pregnancy agrees with you,” he said kissing her ear.
