Shinya smiled affectionately when he saw Kyo at his doorstep. He let his friend in and they went to the kitchen – the usual place for their get-togethers.
-How are you? –Shinya asked.
-How do you think I am? –Kyo grumbled tiredly.
-Well, I’m happy to HEAR you at least, -Shinya smiled warmly.
-I’m not going to talk only to Kaoru, -Kyo said. –It’s so damn hard to communicate only in that stupid sign language! After all, I already forgot the half of what I knew…
-Glad to hear that because I forgot lots of it too, -Shinya smiled.
-Where’s Die?
-Sleeping. He’s been very tired lately because he says he can’t sleep well at nights.
Kyo put his chin in his palm and sighted.
-Why don’t you talk to Kaoru instead of coming here, Kyo? You need to solve things out.
-I’ve already told him everything I wanted! It’s up to him now!
-Kyo, what if he’ll still say he wants the band? Will you split up with him because of such a stupid fight?
Kyo looked at him agaze.
-I don’t want to split up with him!
-But what do you expect will happen?
-I… I just don’t want Dir En Grey back, that’s all! He has a job and I think I should get one soon! There won’t be any more problems! But he’s just so stubborn and just keeps me pestering about that stupid band!
-Kyo, can you be sincere with me? Don’t you really want to sing again?
Kyo looked away and remained silent.
-Kyo…
-I do! I want to sing again! But if that means singing or Kaoru, then I choose Kaoru!
-But Kyo, you can have both!
-No! I’m not going to risk losing him again!
-What’s the noise? –suddenly Die’s voice came from the doorstep.
-Oh, sorry, Die, we woke you up! –Shinya stood up and came closer to his lover. –Do you want coffee?
-No. Hi, Kyo!
-I’m going, -Kyo stood up.
-No, wait, -Shinya started, but Kyo just shook his head.
–You don’t understand, Shinya, so I won’t bother you anymore.
After saying this, Kyo went past them and out of the apartment.
-What was all that about? –Die asked. Shinya shortly retold their conversation and Die just sighted.
-I think Kaoru should just forget the band and stop bothering Kyo. We can’t even know if our return would be successful or not.
Shinya didn’t say anything. He hugged Die and put his head on Die’s shoulder.
-I understand Kyo, though. If I would have to choose the band or you, I would definitely choose you without hesitation.
-But he doesn’t have to choose! He can have both!
-Yes, but it looks like Kyo’s not trusting Kaoru 100%. And that’s the main their problem.
Die turned to Shinya and kissed his cheek.
-I never could understand how anybody could endure such a lover as Kyo. He’s so moody and demanding!
-Well, yes. But Kaoru’s workaholic, selfish and strict in all aspects of life including personal. I couldn’t say which one of them is worse.
-I should tell Kaoru how nasty you’re talking about him!
-Oh yeah? I think Kyo would also be interested to know your opinion about him!
Die chuckled and kissed Shinya on the lips this time.
-Let’s better do something interesting!
-Like what?
-Don’t know…
Shinya smiled and kissed Die in return.

Toshiya sighted and looked around. He really wasn’t in the mood for going out, but Miyavi insisted, so they went to the club. It was noisy and crowded and Toshiya felt uneasy. He usually loved going out, but today was not one of those days.
-Here, this one’s for you, -Miyavi suddenly appeared next to him and put a bottle of bear. –Wow, tonight’s very hot!
-Yeah…
-Hey, cheer up! I don’t like it when you’re so gloomy!
-Sorry…
-And stop thinking about Kyo when you’re with me! I might get jealous!
Toshiya smiled hearing this and took the bear.
-Oh, it’s him! –Miyavi suddenly gasped and stood up. –HEY! SAKITO!
The other man turned and saw Miyavi. He came up and they both hugged making Toshiya glare and suddenly feel very jealous.
-You forgot me completely! –Sakito said.
-Sorry, -Miyavi laughed. –I’ve been busy.
Sakito glanced at Toshiya and smirked.
-Yeah, I understand. So it’s him?
-Hai. It’s my Totchi, -Miyavi smiled and looked at Toshiya. –Totchi, this is Sakito.
-Hi, -Toshiya said.
-Join us, -Miyavi offered and Sakito sat down next to him. –We were in the same band until I started my solo carrier, -Miyavi shortly explained to Toshiya.
-I miss the old times, -Sakito said.
-Yeah, me too, -Miyavi agreed and they soon were involved in a conversation about old times. Toshiya thought Sakito was ignoring him most of the time as if being angry with Toshiya. But of course that couldn’t be true, Toshiya thought, because he saw the other guy for the first time in his life. But the glances that Sakito threw at his direction were not very friendly. Just later Sakito finally smiled at Toshiya really friendly as if finally accepting his presence.
-Well, I’ll go now, -Sakito said. –I’m with my friends, so I don’t want them to leave me behind because I’m not with my car tonight.
-Ok, -Miyavi smiled and hugged Sakito. If anybody would have asked Toshiya’s opinion, he would have said that the hug was more intimate than necessary. When finally Sakito was gone, Toshiya relaxed a bit.
-You don’t need to be so jealous, -Miyavi said.
-Who said I’m jealous? –Toshiya pouted.
-I could see it written all over your face, -Miyavi chuckled. –If you were a little friendlier, Sakito would have stayed a bit longer. I’m sure he felt unwelcomed here.
Toshiya just snorted and Miyavi smiled affectionately.
-I like it when you’re jealous.
-I’m not jealous!
Miyavi laughed and Toshiya pouted again. After some time they finished drinking and Miyavi went for more leaving Toshiya alone at the table. Toshiya took his cigarettes, but somehow by an accident dropped the lighter down. He bend down to take it up, but somebody suddenly stumbled over his hand and almost fell.
-I’m sorry, -Toshiya immediately apologized looking up at the person. It was a young guy.
-Watch it, horse teeth! –the guy hissed and pushed Toshiya back to the seat roughly.
-Hey! –Toshiya shouted angrily. –I said I’m sorry!
The guy suddenly grabbed Toshiya by his lapels but didn’t manage to do anything else because Miyavi appeared by his side and pushed him off of Toshiya.
-Leave him! –Miyavi said angrily. Toshiya never saw him so serious before. The guy looked for a moment at Miyavi, but decided not to start a fight because he was one against two, so he just spat at Miyavi’s feet and disappeared into the crowd.
-Are you ok? –Miyavi turned to Toshiya.
-Yes, I’m fine.
Miyavi came close to him and caressed Toshiya’s cheek lovingly.
-I want to go home, -Toshiya said and Miyavi just nodded. He shouldn’t have dragged him out at all. Toahiya really was in no mood for a club tonight.
In the car Toshiya was silent and Miyavi looked worriedly at him from time to time.
-Miya… -suddenly Toshiya said.
-Yeah?
-Am I handsome?
-What a stupid question! –Miyavi laughed.
Toshiya lowered his head in disappointment and Miyavi added quickly:
-Of course you are! You’re just adorable!
-But I have these ugly teeth…
-What? –Miyavi glanced at him quickly before concentrating on the road again. –You never complained about that before. What’s wrong with you today?
-I hate them!
-Who?
-My teeth!
Toshiya buried his face in his hands and started to cry.
-That Sakito guy is so much more beautiful than me! –he managed to say between his sobs. –And he obviously likes you because I saw his jealous glances towards you! He’s attracted to you!
-So what if he is?
Toshiya didn’t say anything and Miyavi asked:
-Are you afraid that I’ll cheat on you with him because he has nice teeth?
Toshiya started to cry harder and Miayvi sighted. He stopped the car and caressed Toshiya’s shoulder with a hand.
-Stupid Totchi, -he laughed and ruffled his lover’s hair. –I love you the way you are. I don’t care that your teeth aren’t perfect.
Toshiya suddenly stiffened and looked at Miyavi in disbelieve.
-What’s wrong? –Miyavi asked. –Don’t you believe in me?
-You… you just said you love me…
-Well, I do love you, -Miyavi really couldn’t understand what was wrong with his lover tonight. He was being so moody!
-You never said you love me before…
-So?
-Do you really love me? Really?
-Yes, Totchi, I really love you, -Miyavi smiled. –I thought you knew.
-You never said it to me!
Miyavi scratched his head.
-I thought you knew…
Toshiya suddenly hugged him and started to cry again.
-What’s wrong now, Totchi?
-Everything’s fine! Everything’s perfect! I love you too! With all my heart!
-I know, -Miyavi smiled and kissed Toshiya on the head. –Your hair smell nice.
Toshiya giggled and looked at his lover with affection visible in his eyes.
-I’m so happy…
-It’s so easy to make you happy, Totchi.
-Do I make you happy?
-Well, when you don’t whine and when you aren’t so possessive with me...
-Baka! –Toshiya laughed and hit Miyavi lightly on the shoulder.
-Of course you make me happy, Totchi.
Toshiya smiled happily and leaned into Miyavi’s embrace.
-Totchi?
-Hm?
-I really like this cuddling session, but I’d rather first get home.
-Oh… -Toshiya sat in his place again and smiled. –I got carried away, sorry.
-Don’t be sorry, I like to cuddle with you. Just don’t tell anybody. My image would be ruined.
Toshiya laughed and nodded.
-It’s our secret, -he winked.
All the way back home Toshiya couldn’t help but smile happily. His dream finally came true. He had Miyavi body and soul. They were both in love with each other and there was nothing more Toshiya needed.

Five days.
Kaoru didn’t come to him for five days and Kyo was getting anxious. He missed Kaoru so much already. Kyo was starting to think that maybe Kaoru changed his mind and wasn’t coming back at all. So when his mobile phone rang and he saw that it was Kaoru’s number, Kyo’s heart skipped a beat and he picked it up with a trembling hand.
-Kyo? Hi, it’s me, Kaoru.
-Hi, -Kyo answered silently.
There was silence for some seconds because Kaoru was obviously surprised that Kyo talked to him. Kaoru wasn’t expecting that. Suddenly Kaoru heard Kyo sniff and he asked worriedly:
-Are you crying?
-No, -came a silent reply.
-Kyo, I miss you.
-I miss you too… Kaoru?
-Yeah?
-I love you…
-I know, Kyo.
They were silent again then Kaoru finally spoke:
-So, can you meet me in the studio? At two o’clock today?
-Yes…
-Great! I’ll be waiting for you, Kyo. I love you too. Bye!
-Bye…
Kyo put down his phone and sighted. He knew that now Kaoru was going to call the others and announce that they’ll try to be a band again. Kaoru understood that he had Kyo’s agreement finally.
Kyo wanted to make Kaoru happy and if it meant risking loosing him but giving him the band, he’ll risk and do it. He was the one to blame that they lost their jobs and were no longer playing. Remembering happy Toshiya’s face made Kyo feel that he was doing the right thing. Maybe this time will be different and everything’s going to be fine.
Kyo sighted and went to dress up. He couldn’t wait to see Kaoru. But he also feared the future. He was very afraid to be alone again. He was afraid that Kaoru would leave him as soon as he’ll get his band. Kyo knew Kaoru loved him. But he didn’t know if Kaoru loved him just because he was the vocalist of the band or because he just was Kyo.
Kyo sighted and went away. When he reached studio, everyone was already there. As soon as he opened the door, Toshiya ran to him and hugged him.
-I’m so glad that you changed your mind, Kyo! –he smiled happily.
-Yeah, this is great! –Die added.
Shinya nodded in approval and smiled. Kyo looked at Kaoru. Kaoru smiled gently to him and Kyo felt warmer in his heart. He loved Kaoru so much he couldn’t even put it into words. He smiled back at everyone.
I hope this is the right choice, he thought.
