Disclaimer: edit 3: i do not own mrs feehans universes, including but not limted to the carpathan series, I do not own or know Rammstein personaly , i make no money. full complete in depth disclamer in chapter one, thank you. |
Inspired by my favorite band and my favorite author. I took many many liberties with the backgrounds and personal lives of my characters, based in part on them but in no way accurate of their real lives in any way, in other words i made this shit up, all of it... only birthdays, and the bands discography are accurate.
I also took liberty with some of the other details from mrs. feehan's universe's, (plural, more than one set or series) This Story can and will cross over into the Carpathian series and the leopard series but is not limited to those series and any book or series quoted from mrs feehan's extensive collection of noveles belongs to her alone, i have taken many liberties with the details found about Lycan's from the books. this story has taken me a long time to write and be happy with, the next three chapters are ready they just need fine tuning i will publish them when i'm happy with them, chapters after that may take longer to appear and i appreciate your patience :)Dunkle Musiker (dark musicians)
Lynn asked herself for the fiftieth time why she had to sneak out of her own home. She was thirty damn years old, yes she was young for a Carpathian having been recently fully converted, her adopted father and mother had raised her and sheltered her form everything for so long. she still couldn't force herself to go to ground on her own making her health suffer for it, but damn it she should be able to go to one damn concert, just this once, how much damage could it really do.
It wasn’t like she wanted a grand world tour, she just wanted to see him sing live just this once, what could be her last chance. It wasn’t like she was running away from her lifemate or anything, she didn't have a lifemate yet. Despite having met many of the single hunters over the course of her life. No one seemed to be for her, maybe she just didn't have one. She wouldn't mind having a lifemate of her own, the males seemed very devoted to their women, it would be nice to be loved so completely and unconditionally like that. A tall dark handsome man to sweep her off her feet and cherish her for all time, it would be so romantic, she sighed wistfully. She slipped her small five foot frame out the window and slid down the large gutter to the ground. She wiped her damp hands on her jeans as she headed across the side lawn towards the forest. She would have practiced floating to the ground but that could alert the hunters and she didn’t want to be caught. She had to go it was almost like she was under a compulsion. she had to see them perform, she had to see him. When she was out of her yard and into the thick woods that surrounded it she broke into a run her long dark braid flying out behind her. running down a walking path and making her way down the road to the small rental car she had stashed. She slipped her long bangs behind her right ear she quickly threw her small bag in and drove off down the road. She waited until she was well away before slipping her music into the player and turning it up full blast. She made good time getting to Germany and to Berlin itself, her destination was the only thing on her mind as she drove. She only had to stop and rest one day, hiding herself in the backseat under a thick blanket in a small secluded spot off the main road. She childishly picked an argument with everyone before she took off that night so they had all been silent and had left her alone at least so far, and the further away she got the harder it would be for them to talk to her anyway she suspected. She wasn’t exactly a strong telepath, she refused to sleep in the ground of her own free will, her father often had to make her go to ground. She dropped the car off to the small rental agency very late into night and left the keys and the return paperwork in the drop box provided just for that purpose. Lynn made her way down the quiet Berlin streets to the hostel she had arranged online and got her room key from a very nice little white haired old lady in a very loud looking floral print dress. The woman smiled at her sweetly and showed her to a small room with a tiny single bed and a window overlooking the street leaving her to sleep after her long trip. Lynn spent the day behind the window she blocked out with the thick quilted blanket, sleeping the day away, hidden away from the damaging rays of the sun. she kept wishing she could wait in line like everyone else talking to other fans and meet new people. Before she knew it the sun had set and she grabbed her small bag with her identification and some money, making her way to the venue. the line was long but she used a little bit of manipulation to get a good spot at the head of the line, confident that the small surge of power would go unnoticed. She would have been at the head of the line anyway if she hadn't had to hide the day away in her stuffy room. Lynn was one of the first ones in and made her way to the barrier, taking up position right in the middle. The crowd was full of energy and anticipation and the opening act was good but loud and she had to adjust her hearing to block some of the access noise out. When they were done destroying their own instruments at the end of the set the crew took time to clear the stage. More people had filed in to fill the seats and the place was packed, an ocean of humanity here to see just six men. The lights dimmed the music started and the crowd went wild cheering and whistling. The wall lit up as the two sides broke two guitars breaking thought the flimsy wall easily, a cutting torch lighting the center of the stage with an eerie glow then a large boot sent the piece flying down the ramp it was quickly removed and he came strolling down the ramp arms spread wide and then he started to sing. Wer wartet mit Besonnenheit der wird belohnt zur rechten Zeit Nun, das Warten hat ein Ende Leiht euer Ohr einer Legende She watched completely enthralled as they worked the crowd like masters, Song after song. The crowd sung along even though she was sure half of them couldn't speak German, just like her. Too soon the encores were done and they took their bows, thanking the crowd with a deep mumbled 'Danka'. The house lights went up and everyone filed out as the crew began to immediately remove the equipment and stage. Lynn hung back for a moment afterwards, seeing if she could maybe manipulate her way into a back stage pass but had no luck. These men all had naturally strong shields and she wasn’t adept enough to get through to them yet without them noticing. She made her way outside and around to the back parking lot where the crew was busy loading gear into the massive trucks waiting. Perhaps she could at least catch a glimpse of one or more of them as they left for the night. Lynn stood in the shadows of the building, pulling the darkness around her tightly, hiding her from all but the most sensitive eyes. She stood that way, watching and waiting not worrying about her surroundings totally distracted. She had been there for a while when the sky darkened further, unnaturally angry clouds gathering and swirling above the stadium. A deep feeling a dread and a suffocating darkness filled the air fouling it and she quickly scooted closer to the crew and the doors completely uncaring now if anyone saw her. Lynn froze like a deer in headlights when she spotted the unkempt figure headed slowly across the lot. She could see his clothes were dirty and ragged and his teeth were dark and blood stained and obviously rotted even from that distance he made no attempt to hide what he was from her, confident in his own power. She heard and felt a loud crash behind her, cringed as she watched bits of one of the metal doors blow outward past her, one piece slicing a thin cut into her arm. She cried out with the pain and shock and almost collapsed when she felt arms grab her from behind and pull her toward the now ruined door. The vampire advanced more quickly now, seeing his target getting away. the mysterious person behind her almost had her to safety when out of the ruined doorway the largest wolf she had ever seen burst thought the opening. he had to be the size of a small horse, the enormous beast went barreling strait into the chest of the vampire, claws slashing and teeth ripping bones cracking. The poor bastard didn't stand a chance, everything seemed to move so fast that it had to be the shortest fight in the history of fights. The wolf ripped him to shreds making sure to remove the heart completely. The wolf stood there watching the corpse carefully as bits of it appeared to still be flopping about. Out of the ruined door came striding another figure, he carried what appeared to be a flame thrower. She would have known him anywhere that striking figure in black was unmistakable. She would never have guessed in a million years that she would end up in a parking lot, watching Richard Z Kruspe, guitarist for Rammstien’s, take a flamethrower to a vampire. He didn't even flinch as he just matter of factly stood there and burned all the bits up, making sure he got every last one leaving nothing behind. When the creature was completely destroyed nothing left of it but ash blowing around the parking lot like a mini dust storm he turned to face her. Absent mindedly he threw a robe he was caring behind him. She couldn't take her eyes off him and the person who held her let go suddenly and she heard them move away back towards the door. "Bist du verletzt?" he said handsome even when angry and his figure impeccable and perfect. "Warum kriechst du hier alleine herum?" Lynn just looked at him in confusion, her knowledge of German was very limited and she didn't understand single a word, he did look quite angry and upset though. the pain in her arm returned as it started to heal demanding her attention as well. She put her hand over her arm covering the cut in her jacket and the wound from sight and resisting the urge to sink to the ground and dissolve into a fit of hysterical tears. the wound wasn’t serious and would heal soon but what could have happened had they not saved her still scared her whittles. "What were you doing out here" said Richard a little more calmly "hanging around alone in the parking lot?" trying English this time "They wouldn't let me come, it was my only chance to see the concert, so I snuck out and drove by myself." she blurted out in a rush of nervous words, still in shock from the close call with the evil one and her brain babbled out a reply without really thinking about it first. "That was very stupid of you" the once very large wolf, who was now a very large, very real, Till Lindemann said, standing there in the robe Richard had given him. She had been paying so much attention to Richard that she had missed him changing, his back was still to her, then he turned around looked at her finally, his eyes got this shocked look in them for a second but, recovered quickly enough making her doubt she had seen the shock there at all. "You are hurt" he said, clearly concerned now. "hey," Lynn said in a sudden burst of irrational irritation "I’m thirty damn it, I should be old enough to go to one damn concert, your concert by the way" she stomped her foot and crossed her arms over her chest angry now. Everyone always treated her like a small child who was too stupid to take care of herself. Yes she was still young in the eyes of her people but that didn't mean she was completely stupid, did it? "I didn't have any trouble until I got here, thank you very much" she stuck her bottom lip out slightly pouting now. Till stalked over to her, his displeasure was written on his face now, he advanced on her as she backed away from him, he was lecturing her as he went. "it was not us he was after was it, it was not we who drew it here with our carelessness." She backed away as her eyes got wide with shock and she moved her arms to hug herself, she was stopped suddenly by the cement walls of the arena, he put his hand on either side of her head on the wall behind her bending down closer to speak to her. "you should not have come without someone to protect you, it was very foolish of you" Lynn looked down for at her feet for a moment nervous to be this close to the handsome singer. Especially now that he was giving her a lecture. He was even more intimidating and handsome up close, she took a breath and drew his scent into her lungs, he smelled wild and untamed, a musky male sort of smell that put any cologne she had ever smelled to shame. his presence heated her blood and brought an erotic heat to every part of her, something she had never experienced before. She nervously looked at her feet hoping he wouldn't notice his effect on her. "come on" Till said suddenly, scooping her up off her feet into his strong arms. she couldn't avoid taking his scent deep into her lungs now, and a blush heated her cheeks as her body betrayed her in its reaction to being so close to him. her skin felt over sensitive and she her nipples hardened to tight nubs under her shirt, quite visible where her jacket had fallen open. he seemed to noticed his effect and smiled at her from behind the fringe of hair that hung over his forehead and in his eyes. "you will stay here with us, with me, until I figure what I want to do with you." he said gently. She caught a glimpse of Richard behind him rolling his eyes heavenward exasperation stamped into his handsome features and still holding the now extinguished flamethrower. She thought she heard him mumble something about strays in English, then Richard shook his head and returned to the building pulling a wide eyed Paul, who must have been the one to try to pull her to safety, behind him. Not waiting for an answer he took her into the building, down the hallway, past confused security guards and the busy roadies who just didn't give a damn as they were still busy tearing down and packing the sets for the next venue. he took her straight into his dressing room where he put her on the couch and went strait to the bathroom. Lynn just sat there her body still with shock and more than a bit of awe she didn't know Lycans's could even get that big. Till reappeared a moment later wearing sweats and nothing else his broad chest bare. Lynn couldn't help but stare at him, his shoulders wide and his chest deep. 'so handsome' she thought to herself, her cut arm, and the vampire and everything else momentarily forgotten. Nothing like a handsome man to make you forget your troubles. Till opened his mouth to say something but just then Richard appeared in the doorway. “Was zum Teufel ist hier los?” he said from the doorway. "Du hast den Verstand verloren” Richard stood there a moment, his hands crossed over his chest in a classic Richard pose. He was also half dressed in just some jeans, his chest bared. Lynn just stared at him, her mind mushy for a moment, he looked even better in person. Till finally answered “Sie ist meine Seelenverwandte” a slight smile on his face. “Was” Richard said. “Warte, woher weißt du das?” “Ich weiß nur,” Till stated simply “ich kann es nicht erklären, es ist einfach so.” Richard stood there a moment, shook his head and turned and left the room without another word, closing the door behind him. knowing it would be impossible to argue with him. Lynn watched the door close behind him, suddenly nervous about being alone with Till, but the pain in her arm came back to remind her that there were more important things to worry about than the drop dead sexy German metal god in front of her, like how much trouble she was going to be in when her father came looking for her. Till picked up a pair of small scissors off the dressing table and approached her. “may I see your injury please?” he asked, his accent thick and his voice deliciously deep. Lynn nodded yes, incapable of speech at that moment. she held her arm out the wound had soaked the sleeve of her jacket making it stick to her a bit. He took the scissors and cut away a bit of the cloth of her jacket, exposing the cut on her arm. It was still bleeding slightly, the fabric wet with blood stuck to her skin slightly. “stay here, I’m going to get a cloth to clean this up” Till said heading to the bathroom. He returned moments later with a cool cloth he removed her jacket gently and wiped away as much as he could, cleaning it up so he could see the cut. “ah,” he said “its healing already you can hardly see it, good”. He kneeled there a moment on the floor below her as they looked at each other. He was about to say something when Richard opened the door again. "A word please" he said impatiently and ducked back out of the room clearly expecting Till to just automatically follow him. "I will return in a moment" till said with a sigh and got up to go talk to him, he would have no peace until Richards worries were elevated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Translations made using google translate, I don't speak or write german at all so if i got something wrong for the love of god tell me please so i can fix it!!!!!!!!! was ist dein Schaden? = what's your damage?
